Big fan of putting the League behind the starting town. More of these games should do that.
a solid 80% of this map is on the olympic peninsula
the entire top portion of the map (routes 16-18) are literally in canada
the east side of lake washington is completely unnaccounted for
i also have no idea how you expect someone to walk from maple valley to renton on foot, let alone a 10 year old child
as a citizen of the state of washington (particularly the puget sound area) this map has... a bit of room for improvement
i have never had a single thought enter my mind actually

Now that I think about it does any region other than johto do this?
kanto gets kinda close with the league being what would realistically be like a 15 minute drive/hour walk from your house but thats about it
Instructions unclear, added a desert right next to the route where it's always raining
on the topic of this being the pnw if they really wanted to add deserts they should do a safari zone thing on the east side of the cascades. just like how people torture themselves by actively choosing to live in spokane and not a place that's at least less of a drive from an actually nice place to be like yakima or ellensburg or something, people can torture themselves ingame by doing safari zone stuff for the sake of pokedex completion.

why is the mid"west" in the east of the country. unviable nation!!!!!!!!!
its because when americans began colonizing that part of the country it was about as far west as they could feasibly go with their population and technology. once they started making railroads and sacrificed ~50 soldiers to start a war with mexico, they could move further west and eventually had a coast-to-coast country (james polk the man that you are... fucking asshole). the midwest got to keep its name because that's what people had been calling it for the past 70 years.
