[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Stealth Rock is a great entry hazard that Regirock can set up quite easily due to its high bulk
  • Stone Edge is a the strongest STAB that Regirock has, and coupled with its high attack can do a lot of damage
  • Earthquake gives Regirock the nice EdgeQuake coverage that not many mons have, a strong coverage option that goes perfectly with Stone Edge
  • Thunder Wave is to cripple fast offensive threats, mainly Grass- and Fighting-types on the switch-in, and to stop setup from Barbaracle and Samurott

Set Details
========
  • Regirock's natural bulk + 252 HP + 20 Def + Impish gives great physical bulk and OK special bulk
  • 236 Atk means Regirock isn't so easy to take advantage of, and it allows Regirock to OHKO all forms of Xatu
  • Sturdy lets you take 1 for the team and get up rocks, cripple with T-wave or do a ton with either attack
  • Leftovers lets regirock stick around for a while by gaining some of its health back every turn

Usage Tips
========
  • Regirock remains a decent rock-setter, with an OK matchup versus most leads.
  • Its best to have Regirock take as little damage as possible if you need it for something, as it has no reliable recovery and gets whittled down very quickly
  • Play smart around Xatu, you don't want Stealth Rocks or Paralysis on your side of the field

Team Options
========
  • Vileplume is a solid partner for Regirock as it beats what Regirock doesn't beat, such as Hariyama and Samurott
  • Defog and Rapid spin support is appreciated while using Regirock as it increases Regirocks life and use
  • Offensive Colbur Berry Musharna is a good partner because it punishes fighting types that need to click their fighting STAB against it
  • Pelipper is a fun option that deters the opponent from clicking Close Combat and moreso clicking U-Turn or Knock Off that also gives Regirock Defog support

Other Options
========
  • Custap Berry Explosion Regirock is a good option that can be used to give a nasty surprise in the form of a psuedo-priority Explosion and also gives Regirock guaranteed Stealth Rock in most situations
  • Rock Polish Weakness Policy is another great option for Regirock since it catches most people who think they're just clicking their super-effective move to get damage off by suprise. Its under-prepared for and allows Regirock a possibility to sweep.

Checks and Counters
========
  • Ground Types: Certain Ground types like Sandslash, Rhydon, Steelix and Claydol are good checks to Regirock because they don't care about Stone Edge or Earthquake, and Thunder Wave does not work on them. If the possibility arises, they can even spin on Regirock.
  • Vileplume: One of the most notable counters, it discourages Regirock from clicking Stone Edge due to the high chance for a random status, and makes Regirock want to switch out instead of clicking Stealth Rock. It doesn't mind Thunder Wave and even is immune to the rare Toxic
  • Ferroseed: Ferroseed remains a solid check to Regirock since it takes nothing from Stone Edge and Earthquake and can Leech Seed it all back, or set up hazards given the opportunity.
  • Strong Special Attackers: Regirock isn't the strongest on the Special side, with an OK 80 HP and 100 SpD, it definitely is at a disadvantage compared to other special walls like Sliggoo
  • Hazards: Hazards can be frustrating for Regirock because it has no reliable recovery and requires hazard support to remain healthy throughout the game
