Regular OU Team (Fantastic Winning Streak)

This team covers it weakness pretty good. It tries to minimize on switching out.

@ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Heal Bell
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Ice Beam
Special Tanker - Heal bell is there just in case of an emergency. Usually after switching into a thunder attack, it ice beams any opposing Thundurus and dragons or just volt switches against water types. Hydro pump, when supported in rain, also helps to do some good damage.

@ Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Shadow Ball
- Curse
- Trick Room
- Pain Split
It blocks spins and hurts most of the other blockers. It's insane bulkyness lets me switch it in for almost anything and also serves to set-up trick room for the team and makes Conkledurr the scariest thing on the field. If anything, it has shadow ball to deal quite a bit of damage when its not safe to switch out. And after trick room has been set-up, it can curse-suicide to provide a safe switch in.

@ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Careful Nature
- Brave Bird
- Spikes
- Roost
- Whirlwind
General Tank, checks fighting types, set-up pokemon, outrage/sweeper switch in. Skarmory looks normal one, but it runs brave bird to do some great damage with its boosted attack, it can usually take on any type that doesn't carry strong stab moves and most electric attacks are easily predicted for switch in to Lanturn. Again, brave bird can also act as a suicide.

@ Expert Belt
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 128 HP / 252 SAtk / 128 SDef
Modest Nature
- Rest
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
Rain support for damage. Classic politoad starting rain. I'm thinking about using choice specs for this one, but expert belt seems to be doing fine. Nothing much different from the regular politoad set other than this one runs a bit more bulk. Rest is a risk I take as it relies on heal bell.

Götterdämmerung

@ Quick Claw
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Serious Nature
- Mach Punch
- Ice Punch
- Drain Punch
- ThunderPunch
SemiHp tank, hard-hitter, wall breaker. Receives trick room to be unstoppable. Almost always tanks outrage to kill with and ice punch. For thunder punch will catch switch in off guard. Quick claw is hilarious, but is worthwhile well it activates. I usually let my opponent activate guts for me.

James Bondage

@ Black Sludge
Trait: Rain Dance
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Giga Drain
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Sludge Bomb
Speedster, outspeeds most unchoiced, checks many other sweepers with burn. It uses it speed as an advantage to catch people off guard. It can also tank many special attack moves. Liquid Ooze is preferred because it allows it to counter grass types easily and it also provides reverse leech seed. But I've been running a more regular rain dish which seems to cancel the ever so common burn.

Eh, I win 90% of battles but any help is wanted.

Donphan is a bad rapid spinner. I suggest forretress since it can mantaine momentum with volt switch rapid spin and has onlt one weakness.

Forretress @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Stealth Rock
- Volt Switch
- Rapid Spin
- Gyro Ball

Except fire moves on random pokemon is too common. It also lacks special defense and HP.

I've run it before, its great for spikes but can't really help the team.

If i could give you a couple of recommendations for this team, it would be to make tentacruel more defensive, and give it rapid spin, toxic spikes, keep scald on it, and protect if you want. You already have attackers on the team so tentacruel should be one that can take a hit and come back from it (give it rain dish instead of liquid ooze). Then you can get rid of donphan and replace it with like a landorus or garchomp with SR on one of them. Donphan is indeed a bad spinner especially if your opponent already set up some hazards so your ability would be obsolete(assuming it did more than 6%). Also if want, you could give your politoed choice specs if you're confident in your predicting abilities and whatnot. I do like your lanturn though; it's a very unique choice. One last recommendation: I wouldn't give conkeldurr choice band, just because you have 3 different types of moves, so you don't want to be limited. I would give him a leftovers, and bulk up instead of thunderpunch. Other than that, this team does check some threats to rain teams and I like how unique it is

Tentacruel really can't be changed yet. It outspeeds breloom and other annoying things. It really only gets 1hit'd by physical moves, so I just switch out for something that has EQ or Thunderpunch possibilities. It also acts as a grass counter as the opponent gets no benefit from leech seed, giga drain, and the unexpected drain punch. My team isn't too heavily effected by hazards, so kicking donphan is definitely a possibility.

I'm also tired of both life orb and choice band.
Politoad will probably just get something to boost its ice damage.
Conkledurr may just get something like quick claw, expert belt, or a gem of a sort.

Psychic types give my team some trouble...
Maybe I should try kecleon or a duskclops?

You should read RMT rules. You need a minimum of three sentences for each pokemon description. You should get on with that before your thread gets locked lol. I don't really see how tentacruel fits in with the team. It doesnt serve the role of bulky rapid spinner, nor does it set up toxic spikes for a rain stall team. I would suggest removing donphan and changing tentacruel to a spinner as well as a toxic spikes setter for more stall. Then add either gengar or jellicent to spinblock(jellicent works quite well under rain)

I have a description for each move. Is that not enough? I'll add more then. Anyway, replacing acid spray with toxic spikes is okay I guess, but I'm not a fan of the easy in removing spikes. Tentacruel fits as an spd bulky attacker that uses it speed to take others by surprise. It benefits from rain and can be used to switch in for both water pokemon. Predicting and scoring acid spray makes the next hit devastating and burns/poisons is never to be underestimated.

I would use standard starmie set or defensive spinner set instead of donphan becuz 1. its fast speed lets it get it done quickly (this obviously works more if the opponents hazard producer is dead) 2. it has an average sp. attack stat to back it up incase it is not in rapid spin position 3.conkeldur is good enough for ferrothorn, but scizor may need a better ground type like landorus - t (I would suggest choice scarf) as of the whole 1/2 damage output done by fighting moves against bug type. choice scarf landorus - t usually carry u turn, and u can use u turn for starmie, but not sure about rotom - w. if u were looking for wat to replace with landorus, i would suggest lanturn becuz as i said, u turn can check starmie.well, those are some of my thoughts about ur team.

Woah wait a minute why does Conkeldurr have a serious nature? Give him an Adamant nature there is no reason not to have an Adamant nature.

Also I don't get Tentacruel's moveset, I get Sludge Bomb helps out against Breloom but what is the point of Acid Spray and Giga Drain? A Tentacruel with Rain Dish over Liquid Ooze and Protect easily outclasses the latter since it can not only help scout but help reliably gain HP, and Acid Spray just seems pointless, for a team like this Toxic Spikes seems like the much better option since it can help stall certain Pokes further and make pulling a late game sweep with Conkeldurr more easily possible.

Holy crap, I wonder how many games that's cost me :(

I've done some edits on the team so check it out if ya can.

Can anyone suggest how my team can beat Reinculus. It always murders my w/o dusclops.
I feel like Skarmory should be the next to go...

I would suggest putting in Hydreigon over Skarmory. It's really offensive, has great mixed attacking stats (weird speed, though), a wonderful movepool, good bulk, and, most importantly, it destroys Reuniclus, especially if you give it Dark Pulse.

It's a bit risky considering the weaknesses that it caries. Fightning and Ice moves are pretty common. Special defense oriented means I only need to switch in to Dusclops to dodge fighting. So I'll try it out soon enough.

Edit: Nope nope nope, it was often punched to death by fighting moves.
Can anyone think of a good set for it?
