And normally you'd be right about the order, but in training matches where the number of mons sent in is the same as the number on the field at once it's fairly common, or was when I played a few years back, for the first player sending out to just order to make things faster since you already know what you're ordering against even if your opponent hasn't formally sent out.

Made a ton of mistakes in my subs last round, most importantly targeting and my blatantly overuse of Discharge. I’ll likely not be able to recover from this but I have gained a nice insight to how you ought to create subs. Let’s see if I can put that to good use next round.
