[OVERVIEW]
- Stupidly powerful in the sun; Sun-boosted Blue Flare OHKOs nearly everything that doesn't resist it after Stealth Rock
- Great STAB combination in Fire/Dragon minimizes 4MSS.
- Often overshadowed by Kyruem-W due to the extreme shortage of sun support in the meta due to the presence of the Primals
- Dragon/Fire typing doesn't offer many useful resistances aside from a double resistance to Fire while giving Reshiram a Stealth Rock weakness, making it harder to switch Reshiram into attacks despite its good natural bulk. A weakness to Ground does not help matters.
- A lack of options to boost its Special Attack (even considering Z-Moves) aside from an extremely unreliable Ancient Power increase its sun dependence further.
- Average Speed makes it easily revenge-killed, as well as hampering its offensive prowess if it doesn't have a way to boost its Speed.
- With the proper support and the removal of a few specific Pokemon, Reshiram can sweep entire teams.

Moves
=======
- Blue Flare is what makes this set viable, as it OHKOs almost everything under sun after Stealth Rock. It also 2HKOs offensive Primal Groudon.
- Draco Meteor hits Fire-resistant Pokemon for heavy damage.
- Fusion Flare is a reliable drawback-free STAB that allows Reshiram to be used as a revenge killer throughout the match, preventing it from being too much of a burden in early stages of the game as well as preserving Blue Flare's PP for when Reshiram wants to sweep later.
- Rock Slide destroys Ho-Oh, which otherwise stops this set cold.
- Solar Beam can be used to super effectively hit common checks given that Sunny Day is in effect, but it is heavily prediction-reliant. It can also be taken advantage of if the foe switches in a Kyogre, Tyranitar, or Rayquaza.
========
- Max Special Attack and Speed maximize Reshiram's wall-breaking potential.
- A Modest nature allows Reshiram to meet certain OHKO benchmarks after Stealth Rock, such as Xerneas and Arceus, and Yveltel.
- Choice Scarf gives Reshiram a much-appreciated speed increase.
- A Timid nature can allow Reshiram to always outspeed Deoxys-A and Phemerosa, but the drop in power is extremely apparent.
- Turboblaze is Reshiram's only ability, but it can be useful in allowing Reshiram to power through its opposition especially given that it is locked into the first move it makes.
========
- This Reshiram does well against offense due to the combination of Choice Scarf and sunlight allowing it to outspeed and eliminate many Pokemon such as Xerneas, Yveltel, Shaymin-S, Mewtwo, Mega Gengar, and neutral-natured Phemerosa.
- Reshiram should not attempt to sweep until opposing Primals are eliminated (especially Primal Kyogre) as they will nullify the current weather and either resist or are completely immune to Blue Flare. However, offensive Primal Groudon cannot safely switch in to Reshiram as Blue Flare 2HKOs it.
- Only switch Reshiram in if Sunny Day is in effect or for revenge-killing purposes, as it has no way to recover its HP.
- Keep Reshiram away from Paralysis in particular; the speed drop cripples it.
=========
- Due to how this set works, a sun setter is absolutely required. As Pokemon that have Drought are mostly inviable in Ubers, it boils down to what Pokemon don't mind carrying Sunny Day and a Heat Rock. One of the best candidates for this is bulky Ho-Oh due to its great STAB coverage, amazing recovery options, and good overall synergy with Reshiram. It also enjoys Sacred Fire being boosted by the sun and the nullification of its Water weakness.
- Hazard setters such as Primal Groudon and Dialga are needed to ensure that Reshiram achieves important OHKOs against Arceus, Xerneas, and Yveltel. Reshiram also likes that Primal Groudon can also deal with opposing Primals.
- Hazard removers such as Arceus-Water and Giratina-O allow Reshiram to switch in and out of play repeatedly without losing 25% of its health at the minimum every time it does so.
- Pokemon that can remove Chansey and Blissey are needed because they otherwise wall Reshiram. Examples of this include Mega Gengar, Primal Groudon, Mega Mewtwo, and Swords Dance Arceus.

Moves
====
- Z-Sunny Day grants Reshiram the sunlight that it needs to shine as well as an extremely useful +1 Speed.
- Blue Flare OHKOs essentially everything in the sun. If upgraded into Inferno Overdrive, it can potentially OHKO offensive Primal Groudon after Stealth Rock, but otherwise using Z-Sunny Day is better because Blue Flare in the sun is also 195 power and it can be used repeatedly.
- Dragon Pulse is used over Draco Meteor because Reshiram can only boost its Speed once, and it really does not want to be crippled by Special Attack drops.
- Rock Slide deals with Ho-Oh and has an occasionally useful flinch chance.
- Roost improves Reshiram's longevity.
- Solar Beam can be used to super effectively hit common checks, but its power is usually pretty disappointing even then, as it usually only grants 2HKOs.
==========
- EV's maximize Special Attack and Speed, which in turn maximize Reshiram's offensive capabilities.
- Firium-Z allows Reshiram to use Z-Sunny Day.
- Modest Nature allows Reshiram to get important OHKOs on Arceus, Xerneas, and Yveltel.
- Timid Nature can be used to outspeed Deoxys-A and Phemerosa at +1, but the power drop is noticeable and it misses those important OHKOs.
- Turboblaze can be occasionally useful in bypassing Flash Fire and Sturdy.
==========
- Using this set is pretty simple when done correctly, just switch in, set up Z-Sunny Day, and click Blue Flare over and over and over again, using Dragon Pulse as needed.
- Do not set up Z-Sunny Day until Reshiram's checks are heavily weakened or removed (especially Primals) since Reshiram must rely on a weaker Dragon Pulse for coverage instead of Draco Meteor.
- Keep status in general away from this Reshiram. Toxic annoys this set more than it does Choice Scarf Reshiram because Firium-Z Reshiram should not switch out after using Z-Sunny Day or else it won't be nearly as useful afterwards.
=========
- An advantage of this set over the Choice Scarf set is set is that you do NOT have to dedicate another Pokemon to sun setting, which makes this set more splashable on teams.
- Stealth Rock setters such as Primal Groudon and Dialga are still just as important, allowing Reshiram to get those crucial OHKOs.
- Hazard removers such as Giratina-O and Arceus formes are always welcome.
- Team members that can eliminate Blissey and Chansey remain highly recommended. Strong physical attackers such as Primal Groudon, Mega Salamance, Mega Mewtwo, and Swords Dance Arceus can do the trick.
Other Options
=============
- Grassium-Z with Solar Beam can be used to eliminate many of Reshiram's normal checks such as Kyogre and lots of Arceus formes, but that's all it's usually good for and doesn't warrant being given a teamslot.
- Dragonium-Z with Draco Meteor can OHKO offensive Primal Groudon, and with Outrage it can remove Blissey, but Reshiram is pretty much dead weight afterwards.
- Choice Specs and Life Orb sets are held back by Reshiram's average speed, and are better executed by Kyruem-White.
- Reshiram can run Tailwind, but Firium-Z works better due to being more self-sufficient while still achieving the same thing and for longer.
- Reshiram can run a dual screens set with Light Clay, but this is better done by Deoxys-Speed.
- Reshiram can attempt a Sub-Roost set with Toxic due to its good bulk, but this falls flat against Rest users.
- Focus Blast wipes the floor with Tyranitar, but is otherwise relatively useless.
===================
Chansey/Blissey: Reshiram cannot beat pink blobs without running physical sets, which are out of the question, and will eventually fall to Toxic and/or Seismic Toss.
Kyogre: Kyogre has a virtual immunity to Blue Flare via either Drizzle or Primordial Sea and takes Draco Meteor very well due to its great special bulk. Also, it replaces Reshiram's precious sunlight with rain.
Arceus formes that resist Blue Flare: Reshiram already has trouble OHKOing Arceus formes with Blue Flare, and formes that resist it aren't even 2HKO'd by it. Arceus-Rock in particular threatens Reshiram with a super effective Judgment.
Primal Groudon: Primal Groudon resists Blue Flare, and threatens Reshiram with STAB Precipice Blades. However, offensive Primal Groudon are 2HKO'd by Blue Flare.
Tyranitar: Tyranitar resists Blue Flare, replaces the sunlight with a sandstorm, and can weather Draco Meteor quite well. It also threatens Reshiram with super effective STAB attacks.
Ho-Oh: With its amazing special bulk and a resistance to Fire, Ho-Oh halts any Reshiram attempting to forgo Rock coverage.
Paralysis: Paralysis cripples Reshiram and makes it extremely easy to revenge kill by almost anything.
Entry Hazards: All entry hazards hinder Reshiram: Stealth Rock cuts 25% of its health, Spikes add to that, Toxic Spikes status Reshiram and limit its longevity, and Sticky Web nullifies Reshiram's attempts to boost its Speed using Choice Scarf or Z-Sunny Day.
