RESISTANCE IS FUTILE OU RMT

Hello, welcome to another great RMT, today I decided to make a team that I have been thinking about, so the point of this team is to use its tons of resistances to its advantage, and frustrate the opponent setting the way for someone on my team, without further ado here it is my team.

Jirachi@Choice Scarf
Jolly
Moveset:
Trick
Stealth Rock
Iron Head
Fire Punch/ThunderPunch/U-Turn
EV Spread: 252 Atk/176 Spe/80 HP

Analysis: So this is my lead Jirachi who can cripple most other leads, and prevents certain leads from setting up at all like Aerodactyl, as well as crippling leads like Hippodown, and T-Tar. Iron Head does a lot do Rock types, and can be used to flinch things to death and back. Stealth Rock is important since my team will cause quite a few switches. The last spot is up for grabs, so far Fire Punch seems to be my favorite moves to use, for Magnezone and other steels. ThunderPunch can be used for Gyrados who doesn't pose too much of a problem anyway, but can be used for waters trying to resist Iron Head. U-Turn is for scouting to use SR for later.
empoleon.png

Empoleon@Petaya Berry
Modest
Moveset:
Surf
Agility
Substitute
Grass Knot/Ice Beam
EV Spread: 252 SpA/232 Spe/12 HP/ 12 SpDef

Analysis: Awesome with his tons of resistances he can find a bunch of ways to get on the field and set up to the point where he can sweep possibly. Surf for STAB, and does massive damage with Torrent+Petaya. Agility is too boost his speed making him almost outspeedable. Substitute to get the Petaya Boost and Torrent for the sweep. Grass Knot is good for hitting Bulky Waters thinking I am running Ice Beam, with Latias being the best counter, and Latias can't do much back to me unless its running Thunderbolt.

rotomcut.png

Rotom-C@Leftovers
Bold
Moveset:
Discharge
Leaf Storm
Will-O-Wisp
Light Screen
EV Spread: 252 HP/ 212 Def/ 40 SpA

Analysis: Discharge for STAB, and for secondary status possibly with its 30% PRZ rate, Leaf Storm is for ground types, like Swampert, and Gastrodon, I am not sure if its the best kind of Rotom forme, but I wanted to try it out. Will-O-Wisp hits most physical attackers, and helps with my ability to take physcial attacks form things that are burned. Light Screen boosts my Special Defense as well as boosting SpDef for my whole teams to help something set up.
heatran.png

Heatran@Choice Scarf
Naive/Timid
Moveset:
Fire Blast/Overheat
HP Grass/HP Ice
Earth Power
Explosion/Dragon Pulse
EV Spread: 252 Spe/252 SpA/6 HP

Analaysis: My monster, for speed and revenge killing. Fire Blast is for STAB, but Pverheat can be used for more inital power. HP Grass is for bulky waters especially Swampert, but HP Ice can be used for dragons. Earth Power is for other Heatrans, and other Fire types. Explosion is for a last gasp Explosion, but Dragon Pulse is usable since I am probably going to keep running HP Grass.

heracross.png

Heracross@Flame Orb/Toxic Orb
Jolly
Nature: Guts
Moveset:
Close Combat
Swords Dance
Night Slash
Facade/Stone Edge

Analaysis: Pretty cool set used for mainly the late game, when all things that outspeed me have been removed. After a Swords Dance my attack is 1047 OHKOing a lot common counters like Weezing, and Gyrados. Close Combat for STAB, and Facade for a lot of power, with Facade+Close Combat there is good coverage, but since ghosts wall the set Night Slash was included for that reason to give great coverage. Stone Edge has been an option but Facade offers better coverage.

flygon.png

Flygon@Choice Band
Adamant/Naughty
Moveset:
Outrage
Earthquake
U-Turn
Fire Punch/ Fire Blast
EV Spread: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP

Analaysis: Outrage is for the late game dealing out huge damage to anything not Steel types. EQ hits those aforementioned steels like Heatran, and is good for not getting locked into one an Outrage as an alternative STAB. U-Turn to see what my main Flygon counter will be, and do damage while sending in a counter. Fire Punch is for a strong move to hit Bronzong, or Skarymory who resist my STAB, I am not a fan of Fire Blast.I feel the Defence drops from running Lonely or Naughty will not help my longetivity in battle.

Well there is my team, as you can see there is a lot of synergy going on since all the members can cover the others weaknesses, a threat list will be added soon.

Cnttchtis Enjoy

i really don't have time to completely read and rate atm, but when i glanced through i noticed:
I am not a fan of Fire Blast, and feel the Sp Def drop wll hinder my ability to switch into Fire Types moves.

Fire Blast does not lower SpDef, on the other hand even if it did once you switch out all stat buffs and debuffs are nullified so it wouldn't effect switching into Fire moves.

also, i've been testing virtually the same set (switching between CB and Scarf) and found once i changed to Naive and used Fire Blast it was much more deadly than Adamant and Fire Punch

To Oblivion:

Sorry used bad wording to explain myself, I too have tried the set you mention but this one has suited me much better, thank you for your rate though.

For Jirachi, I recommend Ice Punch in the last slot. Your team can put a lot of pressure on Salamence, but once it comes in to scare off your Choice item wielders locked into Fire/Ground moves, it can tear your team apart after a DD or just keep smacking switch ins.

What would aid a lot in getting Empoleon sweeps (and to a lesser extent Heatran sweeps) is a Choice Band Tyranitar with Crunch/Pursuit/Stone Edge/Aqua Tail. This can Pursuit Blissey to hell, freeing up Empoleon and Heatran.

What concerns me is water types. For this, make Rotom more specially defensive (switch to Calm and 212 Special Defense) to counter them more efficiently. Also, use Grass Knot on Empoleon, and hopefully you can also Pursuit Celebi away with Tyranitar.

Good luck!
