Hello,
I haven't been competitive since Gen 4, and even then i wasn't really.
I haven't played Sword/Shield since i have no Switch so i don't really 'know' these pokemons (I have been playing since OG Red/Blue).
Anyway; this is my team, what could i improve?
Sunscreen (Weavile) @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Triple Axel
- Knock Off
- Brick Break
- Poison Jab
I use Weavile as a fast and strong offensive threat. Triple Axel and Knock Off for STAB, Poison Jab for Fairy coverage and Brick Break for other Dark or Ice types and Rock/Steel/Normal types.
Tvashtr (Melmetal) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 128 HP / 116 Atk / 252 SpD / 12 Spe
Careful Nature
- Double Iron Bash
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Punch
Melmetal is mainly used as special wall but can still dish out a lot of dammage against a lot of pokemons.
Lambo (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Knock Off
- U-turn
Another offensive threat that can cripple physical attackers with Intimidate
Sir Weezington III (Weezing-Galar) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Bomb
- Strange Steam
- Defog
- Flamethrower
mainly defensive as it checks Dragon/Fight/Bug/Grass and Dark, Flamethrower for Steel coverage and Defog to get rid of entry hazards
BoomBoom (Rillaboom) @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Grassy Glide
- Knock Off
- Wood Hammer
- U-turn
Another powerhouse with priority Grassy Glide
The great wall (Toxapex) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Baneful Bunker
- Scald
- Recover
- Haze
This thing can wall almost anything, can poison physical attackers with Baneful Bunker and punish pokemon that check Toxapex that are trying to use it as setup fodder.
now that i wrote down my team i see that maybe i should replace Rillaboom with a Special Attacker as 3 Physical attackers may be a little too much. I was thinking Magnezone, Rotom-Wash or Toxitricity, thoughts?
