[SET]
Ting-Lu @ Leftovers
Name: Defensive Hazard Setter (Dark)

EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes / Whirlwind
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam / Ruination

[SET COMMENTS]

Gifted with a fantastic defensive statline, amazing ability in Vessel of Ruin, and great utility options, Ting-Lu holds the ground even against special attackers such as Enamorus and Flutter Mane, making it a key asset for Dark teams. With access to both Stealth Rock and Spikes, Ting-Lu can chip down the opposing team to let its teammates break through sturdier defensive cores. Whirlwind can be used over Spikes to phaze setup sweepers and further chip down the opposing team. Thanks to its base 110 Attack, Earthquake hits most of the metagame for decent damage even with no Attack investment, 2HKOing Greninja, Hisuian Goodra, and Clodsire. Heavy Slam deals with Fairy-types that would otherwise overpower Ting-Lu, such as Flutter Mane, Enamorus, and Iron Valiant, while also threatening Hatterene trying to bounce back entry hazards. Alternatively, Ruination can wear down threats like Archaludon and Corviknight to facilitate its teammates' sweep.

Despite possessing formidable defensive capabilities, Ting-Lu cannot heal itself except with Leftovers; pairing it with physically defensive Pokemon, such as Sableye and Mandibuzz, to ease its defensive burden is thus strongly recommended. Sableye's Ghost typing brings an invaluable Fighting-type immunity to the team along with blocking Rapid Spin from Forretress and Great Tusk. It also comes with nice utility options in the forms of Will-O-Wisp, Knock Off, and Encore to cripple physical attackers and prevent setup sweepers, like Gouging Fire and Keldeo, from wreaking havoc. On the other hand, Mandibuzz grants a precious Ground-type immunity to the team and can slowly pivot with U-turn while handling Breloom and Rillaboom. Ting-Lu also pairs well with wallbreakers such as Greninja, Meowscarada, Darkrai, Hisuian Samurott, and Bisharp, as they highly value its entry hazard-setting capabilities. Choice Scarf Greninja provides speed control and deals with numerous threats with its coverage options, such as Ice Beam to handle Dragonite and Zapdos and Sludge Wave to check the Ogerpon formes and Iron Valiant. Choice Band Meowscarada can muscle through Ground and Water defensive cores, disposing of Hippowdon and Primarina with Flower Trick while threatening Flying-types like Tornadus-T and Gliscor with Triple Axel. Thanks to Hypnosis and Nasty Plot, Darkrai pressures Flying and Steel defensive cores. Swords Dance Hisuian Samurott can set up Spikes with Ceaseless Edge to let Ting-Lu run Whirlwind and can revenge kill weakened foes such as Dragapult and Latios with Sucker Punch. Lastly, Bisharp can punish attempts from Mandibuzz and Corviknight to remove hazards with Defog while checking Fairy-types like Clefable and Galarian Weezing with Iron Head.

(Going based off how you wrote it in the first paragraph)

Gifted with a fantastic defensive statline, an amazing ability in Vessel of Ruin, and great utility options, Ting-Lu holds the ground even against special attackers such as Enamorus and Flutter Mane, making it a key asset for Dark teams. With access to both Stealth Rock and Spikes, Ting-Lu can chip down the opposing team so to let its teammates break through sturdier defensive cores. Alternatively, Ruination can wear down threats like Archaludon and Corviknight to facilitate its teammates' sweep. Rocky Helmet can be run over Leftovers to ensure Ting-Lu wins its duel against most Rapid Spin users like Great Tusk and Forretress. (Make an OO.)

Despite possessing formidable defensive capabilities, Ting-Lu cannot heal itself except with leftovers, pairing it with physically defensive Pokemon, such as Sableye and Mandibuzz, to ease its defensive burden is thus strongly recommended. Sableye's Ghost typing brings an invaluable Fighting-type immunity to the team and can prevent Fighting, Ground, and Bug teams from removing entry hazards; along with blocking Rapid Spin from the likes of Forretress and Great Tusk. it also comes with nice utility options in the form of Will-o-Wisp, Knock Off, and Encore to cripple physical attackers and prevent setup sweepers, like Gouging Fire and Keldeo, from wreaking havoc. On its hand, Mandibuzz grants a precious Ground-type immunity to the team and can slow pivot with U-turn. (This just reads as things it just generally for Dark instead of for Ting-Lu itself, a mention of it being able to handle Grass-types like Breloom and Rillaboom would be nice here.) As an hazard setter, Ting-Lu highly values wallbreakers such as Greninja, Meowscarada, Hisuian Samurott, and Darkrai. (Otherway around, they value Ting-Lu setting up hazards to wear down checks.) Choice Scarf Greninja provides speed control and can deal with numerous threats such as Iron Valiant, Enamorus, Dragonite, and Ogerpon formes thanks to its colorful movepool with its coverage options such as Ice Beam to handle Dragonite and Zapdos while Sludge Wave checks the Ogerpon formes and Iron Valiant. Choice Band Meowscarada can muscle through Ground, Flying, and Water defensive cores. Ground and Water defensive cores with Flower Trick handling Hippowdon and Primarina threatening Flying-types like Tornadus-T and Gliscor with Triple Axel. Swords Dance Hisuian Samurott can set up Spikes with Ceaseless Edge to let Ting-Lu run Whirlwind and revenge kill weakened foes like Dragapult and Latios with Sucker Punch. Lastly, Darkrai can put to sleep a foe and ease matchups against defensive teams. (This is kind of a nothing sentence, give some things Darkrai can handle the others cannot. Also Included Bisharp to punish Defog from Mandibuzz and Corviknight + to check Geezing and Clefable.)

Ping me when Implemented, I want to have a second look over.

Lastly, Darkrai and Bisharp can both support the team by either pressuring defensive cores in the Flying and Steel matchups with the Hypnosis + Nasty Plot combination or by punishing Defogging thanks to Defiant. Bisharp can punish Defog attempts from the likes of Mandibuzz and Corviknight along with checking Fairy-types like Clefable and Galarian Weezing with Iron Head. (Move Darkrai in with Greninja, I'm looking at what their coverage checks a lot of the same stuff, probably mention as well that Gren and Darkrai appreciate Ting-Lu's hazards wearing down checks like Alolan Muk and Hisuian Goodra as well.)
1/1 afterwards. Nice work Showl.
