Meowscarada is an amazing Choice Scarf user for Dark teams due its sheer Speed, variety of moves, and great ability in Protean. Flower Trick hits threats like Greninja, Primarina, and Great Tusk. Flower Trick's 100% critical hit rate allows it to deal with set-up threats and dual screens such as Belly Drum Azumarill and Bulk Up Great Tusk. Knock Off OHKOes Psychic-type dual screen setters like Deoxys-S, non-Choice Scarf Dragapult, and other fast Ghost-type threats such as Hisuian Zoroark. Knock Off also allows Meowscarada to make progress against walls it can't beat such as Skarmory and Galarian Weezing by removing crucial held items such as Rocky Helmet and Black Sludge, respectively. Triple Axel removes Flying- and Ground-type threats such as Tornadus-T, Gliscor, and Dragonite. Finally, U-turn allows Meowscarada to benefit from its Speed stat and pivot of out threats such as Archaludon and Gouging Fire. It also heavily damages Pokemon like Hoopa-U and Latios.
Hisuian Samurott and Ting-Lu pair well with Meowscarada, as they set up entry hazards, while Meowscarada removes Heavy-Duty Boots from foes like Zapdos, Volcarona, and Cinderace. They also take care of Fire-type foes such as Ceruledge and Torkoal. Greninja and Darkrai form an offensive core with Meowscarada; they serve as the special attackers for a team, removing threats like Okidogi, Garchomp, and Ogerpon-H, while Meowscarada serves as a physical attacker, removing foes such as Swampert, Hisuian Zoroark, and Flutter Mane.
