[SET]
Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Name: Original Moth (Bug)

Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Psychic
- Morning Sun / Giga Drain

[SET COMMENTS]

The moth is back to terrorize the opposing team with its impeccable offensive stat line and access to Quiver Dance. After a single boost, Volcarona outspeeds the whole unboosted metagame bar Regieleki and Deoxys-S. Fiery Dance gives it another way to boost its Special Attack while also dealing with Gholdengo and Skarmory. Psychic synergizes well by targeting Poison- and Fighting-types like Toxapex, Sneasler, and Urshifu-R. Morning Sun provides reliable recovery to ease setup against special attackers such as Choice Specs Dragapult and non-Rock Slide Landorus. Alternatively, Giga Drain hit Ground-types like Swampert, Gastrodon, and Mamoswine, substantially improving both the Water and Ground matchups.

With a glaring Rock weakness, Volcarona appreciates being paired with Forretress, which can tank Rock-type moves, set entry hazards to weaken the opposing team, and slow pivot into Volcarona with Volt Switch. In a similar vein, Araquanid patches up the Water weakness and can set Sticky Web to give Volcarona the upper hand. Alternatively, Galvantula and Ribombee both offer distinctive advantages over Araquanid; Galvantula can pressure Water teams with its access to Grass-, Electric-, and Bug-type moves to deal with Swampert, Primarina, and Ogerpon-W, potentially letting Volcarona drop Giga Drain in favor of Morning Sun, while Ribombee can paralyze Barraskewda and Excadrill to ensure Volcarona outspeeds both and helps address Dragon and Fighting matchups by targeting Roaring Moon and Gallade. Offensively, Choice Scarf Kleavor takes on troublesome foes such as Choice Specs Flutter Mane, non-Dragon Dance Dragapult, and Latios; it can also set Stealth Rock through Stone Axe to aid Volcarona's sweep. Lokix and Scizor are both solid offensive options. Lokix eases Dark, Ghost, and Psychic matchups by removing Choice Scarf Greninja, Hoopa-U, Dragapult, and Gallade. Scizor, on the other hand, substantially improves Fairy, Rock, and Dragon matchups by removing Flutter Mane, Iron Boulder, Kleavor, and Hisuian Goodra.

Fiery Dance gives it another way to boost its Special Attack while also dealing with Gholdengo and Skarmory. Psychic synergizes well by targeting Poison- and Fighting-types like Toxapex, Sneasler, and Urshifu-R. Morning Sun provides a reliable heal to ease its setup against special attackers such as Choice Specs Dragapult and Non Rock Slide Landorus. Alternatively, Giga Drain hits hard Ground foes like Swampert, Gastrodon, and Mamoswine, improving substantially both Water and Ground matchups.

With a glaring Rock weakness, Volcarona appreciates being paired with Forretress that can tank Rock moves and set hazards up to weaken the opposing team and then slow pivot into Volcarona with Volt Switch. In a similar vein, Araquanid patches up the Water weakness and can set up Sticky Webs to give the upper hand to Volcarona. Alternatively, Galvantula and Ribombee both offer distinctive advantages over Araquanid; Galvantula can pressure more Water teams by its access to Electric-, Bug-, and Grass-type moves to deal with Swampert, Primarina, and Ogerpon-W, while Ribombee can paralyze Barraskewda and Excadrill, and helps to address Dragon and Fighting matchups by targeting Roaring Moon and Gallade. (True on both ends, just reword to make it more of how they help Volcarona instead of being a general how they help bug since thats how it reads to me right now.) Offensively, Choice Scarf Kleavor takes head on troublesome foes such as Choice Specs Flutter Mane, Non Dragon Dance Dragapult, (+1 DDarts is too much of a risk) and Latios and can also set Stealth Rocks through Stone Axe up to help Volcarona in its sweep. Lokix and Scizor are both solid offensive options too. Lokix eases the Dark, Ghost, and Psychic matchups by disposing of Choice Scarf Greninja, Hoopa-U, Dragapult, and Gallade. Scizor, on the other hand, substantially improves Fairy, Rock, and Dragon matchups by removing Flutter Mane, Iron Boulder, Kleavor, and Hisuian Goodra.

finishing it tomorrow (You will finish it now)
