Thanks to its high Attack, decent Speed, and great coverage, Rillaboom is a great wallbreaker and revenge killer for Grass-type teams. Wood Hammer is its most powerful STAB move. Knock Off provides great utility in removing the foe's item and is useful for hitting Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Dragapult and Bronzong. U-turn allows Rillaboom to pivot around and give its teammates safe switches in. Superpower is great for hitting Ferrothorn, which otherwise is problematic for Grass teams to weaken. Earthquake hits Aegislash and threatens Fire- and Poison-types such as Salazzle. Rillaboom has a nice Speed tier to take advantage of Choice Scarf. It's able to outspeed threats such as Dragapult, Hydreigon, and Choice Scarf Gardevoir.

Ferrothorn is a great teammate because it can set up entry hazards to weaken the opposing team and give Rillaboom an opportunity to sweep. Ferrothorn's Grass / Steel typing also gives it an immunity to Poison and a neutrality to Ice, Flying, and Bug. Thanks to its Thick Fat ability and great bulk, Appletun can cover the team's weakness to Fire and form a defensive core with Ferrothorn. Rotom-C can form a VoltTurn core with Rillaboom and threaten Flying-types such as Corviknight and Togekiss, which pose a huge threat to Grass-type teams. Rotom-C can also run a set with Nasty Plot, Substitute, and Dark Pulse, which when combined with Rillaboom's U-turn and Knock Off, has great synergy against Psychic-type teams. Whimsicott threatens Dragon-types and can be annoying to deal with for many teams in combination with its access to Prankster, Leech Seed, and Substitute.

I don't think Drum Beating's damage output is enough to make it usable on Choice Scarf, especially since the Speed drop is fairly irrelevant to Rillaboom. Nobody is going hard into a Scarf Darm, for example or anything else that outspeeds Rillaboom.

For Superpower, I would just skip the Normal-, Ice-, Steel-types part and go right to Ferrothorn. Earthquake should probably mention Aegislash by name, which is the biggest reason to use it, and probably worth naming Salazzle too.

Durant isn't a great example for Choice Scarf due to First Impression, and it tanks a hit easily anyway.

Worth noting Sub NP Rotom-C's anti-Psychic synergy with Rillaboom.
