RMT 1st Pt Attempt.

Changes in blue

My first attempt in a Pt team, have been working really good against the new common threats but having troubles with stall or semi stall team, so hope you can help me, here we go:

- Lead -

Heatran @ Choice Scarf
EVs: 20 HP/252 SpA/236 Spe
Hasty
- Explosion
- Fire Blast
- Earthpower
- Hidden Power Ice

A beast, with a huge SpA already, Scarf makes him even more awesome, takes DD Outrages and kills dragons with HP Ice, Fire Blast for STAB and power, outrun Skymin and important too Dugtrio whom can come and ruin the fun. As a lead nothing can kill him nor outspeeding except Scarfgar, Electrode and Deoxys e, all who cant do much back to me. Trick me a Choice Scarf? lol

- Trap Kill –

Scizor @ Life Orb
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Adamant
- Pursuit
- Superpower
- Roost
- Bullet Punch

Counters stuff that my team is weak of, Pursuit for stuff like Starmie and Gengar who can "run but not hide", Superpower for others steels like magnezone or heatran, Roost to take off the damage of Life Orb.

- Special Sweeper -

Deoxys-S @ Expert Belt
EVs: 170 Stk/252 SpA/72 Spe
Naive
- Recover
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Superpower

Made the change here to pure late game sweeping, superpower for blissey who can stall me otherwise.

- The Wall -

Gliscor @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP/40 Def/216 Spe
Impish
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock

Gliscor can come to wall the most common physical sweepers and can mess them with Knock Off specially Choice Ones, Earthquake for Stab, Roost to heal the damage off and stay longer.

- Mixed Sweeper -

Kingdra @ Scope Lens
Sniper
EVs: 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe
Naughty/Lonely
- Outrage
- Hydro Pump
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance

Kingdra is awesome can switch in safetly after Gliscor appeared being resistant to water and neutral to ice, also can take common walls like Skarmory and Forretress with Hydro Pump, waterfall for STAB and abuse DD not locking me into Outrage.

- Mixed Sweeper –

Mamoswine @ Leftovers.
EVs: 172 HP/104 Atk/192 Spe
Adamant
- Ice Shard
- Substitute
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Ice Shard for dragons, sub for status and scouts, EQ for Stab and SE for flyers, can come from mid to late game and sweep. 101 subs blissey huh!

Well ... Rotom-h doesn't learn Heat Wave so I am curious of how you aquired it.

That out of the way, your team is extremely frail. The first 2 threats to identify are Scarf Gengar and Life Orb Skymin who beat you without much problem at all (you can try to work around them). Just so you know, Deoxys-S can never outspeed a Timid Scarfgar. Then, there is Jolly Ice Punch / Close Combat / Extremespeed / Swords Dance Lucario who will just tear you to shreds, especially since Rotom-f doesn't have any healing (rest) or Wish support. Gyarados and Kingdra are pretty much unstoppable especially if Deoxys-S uses up its Focus Sash. We will finish with Timid Life Orb Explosion Heatran who could run right through this team without any thought. I won't go past there as I have already shown how weak you are to the most common of threats.

A good place to start fixing this team is with EVs and items. Mamoswine is going to be very unreliable as your only Skymin counter as Substitute + Life Orb + Spikes/SR damage everytime you switch in will easily add up and kill you. I would use Leftovers if you plan on using Substitute or you could get rid of Subsitute for Ice Fang or Blizzard and use Life Orb. Using both will just be suicide.

Gliscor doesn't seem like a Baton Passer at all. So why treat it like one? Mamoswine already has a priority attack (and you shouldnt be passing to him as Surf might be coming) and Kingdra can raise its stats on its own. You could actually redo Gliscor to give you a decent counter to Lucario. All you have to do is use a revised set of

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Jolly Nature
252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe
- Earthquake
- Taunt
- Roost
- Filler (preferrably Stone Edge or Stealth Rock (read below))

I know I preach 310 Speed is what you should always aim for but in this case, Gliscor has no business staying in on the threats that hit 308-309 speed and being able to handle Roserade and Lucario is sufficient. Hopefully, this will help with some of your problems. You could even fit Stealth Rock on the set and get rid of it on Deoxys-S for a much better revenge killer (Ice Beam over SR).

Building off of what I previously stated, your severe lack of special attackers worries me which is why I would suggest just using a sweeper Deoxys-S. I would even add on Shadow Ball for other Deoxys-S / Azelf leads. I would also think about turning Heatran into a Timid Scarfer. You need to put an end to the Shaymin problem and that is your absolute best way to do it. To finally wrap up Special attackers, I think Kingdra could go without Waterfall and use Hydro Pump in its place. Ice Beam could go over Draco Meteor but that is your choice. This creates a much more power mixed Kingdra who can draw in walls like Forretress and Skarmory with a Dragon Dance but then deliver a fatal blow with Hydro Pump.

I realize Gengar is still a problem so I could give one more piece of advice. Get rid of Rotom-h for a trapping Scizor (Light Screen, Pursuit, Bullet Punch, Roost). First of all, all Steel + Flying-types are pretty much dealt with by Mamoswine and Heatran anyway but more importantly, Scizor allows you to actually beat SD Weavile and traps and kills Gengar and Starmie who also rip you apart (I was saving Starmie for the end here). Scizor does get healing and should prove to be a successful way to stop such above threats.

my bad, a typo, Overheat is it.

Wow i just realizaded how slow my team is, i'll take all your comments in mind, mostly the sweeping deoxys, i really didn't like to use scizor but dam, he is just too good.. im going to make correction now...

Calm on Scizor reduces your attack. I think your looking for careful if you want +SpDef - SpA

Use hasty on heatran, you need all the power you can get for Explosion. Use fireblast, the drop in power really isnt worth it :/

Why not use a offensive oriented lead like SR/ Taunt / (If it gets one, fire attack for Meta and Zong, ) / Psychic. Idunno, taunt then SR, then attack maybe? :/

Typo again =/, Adamant is the correct.

mmm you're correct i lack now the boost from specs.

That can work too, i was thinking on a lead like aerodactyl and leave deoxys for late game sweeping.

Kingdra gets outrage now? Yay Platinum move tutors! :D

Seeing that, though, gives me two ideas for you to help improve your Kingdra.
1. Replace Hydro Pump with Waterfall so you have another physical STAB move that gets powered up by Dragon Dance. This would require some EV investment into attack, though. Your Kingdra's nature choices gave me this idea. ^^
2. Change it's held item from the Scope Lens to the Life Orb. I know the HP loss is unattractive, but it's an immediate power boost as opposed to a slight increase in critical hit chance. You could also give Kingdra Focus Energy to raise the chances of a critical hit if you wanted to keep the Scope Lens, but then one of it's attacks would have to be removed, which I don't think you want to do.

Also, maybe change Scizor's held item to the Muscle Band or Life Orb? It seems to be holding too important of a role to have it's move selection restricted to a single move, especially if your opponent happens to counter predict you.

It's completely up to you, though. I just posed a couple of ideas. Hope you found this helpful. The rest of the team looks good to me. ^^

Hm... I don't see Deo-S as a good lead and Superpower is needed at times when you're in situations of Blissey. I'd change this around a bit.

Let's put Deoxys-S in the back. I see him useful in two situations for your team: A Counter set or a regular Sweeper set. The counter set should use 252 HP / 184 SpA / 76 Spe with Leftovers. This spread seems the most effective for him. Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, and Psychic should be your attacking moves with Recover as the final move. If you choose the more offensive route than definitely use Superpower over Shadow Ball or Psychic (whichever you prefer), use a Life Orb or Expert Belt and then use the EV spread of 160 Atk / 252 SpA / 96 Spe with a Naive nature. Either way one of these two sets are what I recommend for you.

Next I think Choice Band Scizor should use Superpower as the Fighting-move gives Heatran one less reason to switch into Scizor safely. Superpower also gives a huge advantage of denting other's Scizors and makes Magnezone hell to switch-in.

Kingdra I question. I'd use Waterfall over Ice Beam for the more consistent damage and it also works in tandem with Dragon Dance. Hydro Pump is fine as I see why you use it (Skarmory and friends obviously).

Mamoswine: I'd use more HP for a 101HP Substitute. This prevents Blissey from ruining this set. As for what to cut in EVs you can decide on where to bench at but the minimum that I would use is for Jolly Tyranitar. I don't think max Speed and such is useful. 172 HP is what you need. This is just more of an option to consider if you want but obviously not needed. A spread of 172 HP / 104 Atk / 192 Spe with an Adamant nature gives the Tyranitar benchmark. Just an option though.

As for a lead I think Heatran might be the better of the Pokemon to lead with and then just switch out accordingly.

ahh Heatran as a lead seems good, never thought about it, i will try it, since the sweeping Deoxys-S didnt catch my eye at all.

About kingdra ill buy the waterfall, ice beam didnt help me that much, as for the item ill keep it for a little while it has served me well, Outrage critical!!

Mamo really like the idea of 101 so blissey cant brake it, and outspeeding tyranitar seems fine, as i have been having trouble with him, superpower on scizor ill buy it, most likely for magnezone and heatran seems atractive enough. Ill give him roost and life orb to recover the damage too.
