Introduction:
Hey guys! Kasumi here. I decided to share my amazing Anything Goes team with you today. Thank me later. This team is very gimmicky and relatively hard to use. But you can catch players off-guard with this squad. Right after being introduced to Swag-Play Liepard from Gen 5 NU I ripped all my hair out of my head and thought this was so fucking annoying and funny, that I wanted to abuse this little shit too. So I came up with a set-up sweeper Liepard team. This team is supposed to whittle down the opposing team with all kinds of Trick and Switcheroo users.

Team in-depth:
Let me explain you how this works and what each member does for the team.

Liepard @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Assist
- Substitute
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse

Liepard the is Pokémon I based this team around. It's my main source of getting a W with this team. Abusing the Prankster and Assist combo, it can set up on multiple Pokémon. Assist is ultimately what makes this set usable. Due to how my teams lay-out works, Assist will always call Breloom's Spore. This would allow Liepard to set up on multiple Pokémon it normally would not be able to set up on. Substitute is part of this set so it creates a shield for priority moves that normally would revenge kill it. Nasty Plot to boost its Special Attack to usable stages. Because, let's be real, Liepard is weak af. Dark Pulse is the offensive move of choice. Since nothing in the game is immune to it and it also gets STAB with an added bonus of Flinching the opposing Pokémon.

Breloom:

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Spore
- Counter
- Focus Punch
- Protect

Breloom is a very important Pokémon to this team. Spore is the first move on the set. Breloom is arguable the best Spore users for a team like mine, so I decided to go with it. Counter is there to possibly KO a Pokémon that tries to hit it with any physical move. You'll rarely see yourself using it, but it's there just in case. Focus Punch is its main way of actually doing damage. Not only is this a powerful move with 100% accuracy, but it also gets STAB on it and it does not get called by Assist. Protect is added to gain an extra 12% with Poison Heal and stall out the other Pokémon.

Drifblim:

132.png

Drifblim @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thief
- Trick
- Phantom Force
- Destiny Bond

Drifblim was added because it gave me a good Trick user and a way to wear down the opposing team. I decided to go with a Choice Scarf set so that I could cripple set up sweepers and give Liepard an easier time to set up on Choice-locked Pokémon. Thief is there in case I get Knocked Off and I need to cripple a bulky Pokémon that annoys my team with its recovery or even just taking an Eviolite. Phantom Force is a 2-turn STAB move for Drifblim that again adds on to the stall that this team appreciates. It would also help me get rid of any Pokémon that threaten my team. This is usually what I use to take down the Pokémon listed in the threat list. Drifblim is my only Normal type immunity that has this one move that destroys my entire team. This move being, Extreme Speed.

Arbok:

428.png
132.png

Arbok @ Black Sludge
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Switcheroo
- Protect
- Dragon Tail
- Snatch
I thought Arbok would help since it provides me with a few perks that no other Pokémon could make use of. The first of those perks is its ability, Intimidate. This might seem useless on a Pokémon that does not set up, but it does have its uses. Most of my Pokémon are invested in HP, since they don't use offensive attacks. The HP investment could allow me to live a physical move at -1 and continue with doing shenanigans. The other perk is it being a Poison type, meaning it would absorb Toxic Spikes that hinder my team greatly. This also adds on to its third perk, which is the fact it can use Black Sludge effectively. Black Sludge obviously only healing Poison types. This helps me a lot, because its first move on the set is Switcheroo. This, again, adds on to the fact I can stall out bulky Fairy, Dark or Fighting types that gives this team troubles. Protect was the obvious move of choice so I can stall for an extra turn. Dragon Tail to phase out set up sweepers and racking up more damage on it. And Snatch to stop the opposing Pokémon from setting up, healing or putting pesky hazards on my side. Snatch would steal the move and use it for itself this turn. This is obviously a very useful move to have, since I am limited to moves on this team and thus I can't put hazards on this team.

Lopunny:
510.png
286.png
426.png
24.png
428.gif
132.png

Lopunny @ Flame Orb
Ability: Klutz
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Switcheroo
- Circle Throw
- Copycat
- Protect

Lopunny is a fast annoyance that helps me cripple bulky Fairy, Dark and Fighting types that resist my main way of hitting them, Dark Pulse on Liepard. Lopunny is great at abusing the Klutz ability that ignores the Flame Orb I gave it. I wanted max speed to make sure I would Switcheroo a Pokémon that would be a problem to my team. Burning them is useful since it halves physical attacks and does consistent damage at the end of each turn. If a Pokémon managed to set up on 1 of the members, I have multiple ways of phasing it out. Circle Throw on Lopunny is one of those. Due to its negative priority and the changes to move mechanics, Assist can no longer call negative priority moves such as Whirlwind, Roar and Circle Throw. Copycat is added for setting up hazards on the opposing side since that would help this team greatly. Copycat could even get some revenge kills due to Lopunny hitting a solid 339 speed with a maximum investment and a positive speed nature. Protect is there to rack up damage being dealt by the Flame Orb and it also helps me get kills with Copycat.

Ditto:

Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def
- Transform

Ditto was actually not a Ditto when I first made this team. I used an Aurorus first as a, what I thought to be, Mega Rayquaza check. It had a Shuca Berry so I could live its Earthquake, but the damage it did back with Refrigerate Nature Power, was just laughable. This was a horrible thought of mine, because Mega Rayquaza is pretty bulky for having such an offensive presence. So I decided to replace it with a Ditto. Ditto is my backup sweeper. It has the great ability of counter sweeping the opponents. With its amazing Imposter ability, it will copy all stat changes and stats, except for HP, and its moves. Ditto is equipped with a Choice Scarf, meaning I don't have to rely on speed ties for it to be useful. Ditto also helps me with setting up hazards or even just revenge killing. Hazards help my team greatly since my team is supposed to rack up damage and Liepard and Ditto cleaning up late game. The given IVs make sure Ditto has Hidden Power Ice that is probably the best offensive typing since it hits many types for super effective damage and nothing is immune to it.

Threat list:
Even an amazing team like mine has its flaws. I decided to list the most common ones that you could encounter on the Anything Goes ladder. Let's get started:

mega_rayquaza_sprite__96x96_ver___by_gothica_the_eevee-d8374sx.png

Mega Rayquaza:
This monster is the reason that Anything Goes is a tier, so it's not a surprise this is a problem to me. It's +2 priority in Extremespeed, it's natural bulk and the amazing ability in Delta Stream make mega Rayquaza a massive threat for this team. Drifblim is basically my only way of killing it with Destiny Bond or going to Ditto and hope they don't kill me with Extremespeed. Definitely something to watch out for.

493.png

Arceus Normal:
Yet another Extremespeed user that gives me a ton of trouble. It is overall very bulky and it's Extremespeed outspeeds my Liepard's Prankster moves. Not only it's Extremespeed is an issue, but this Pokémon is known to use a Lum Berry, which would foil my entire plan.

xerneas_sprite__fixed__by_lord_myre-d5rba0f.png

Xerneas:
A bulky Fairy type that sets up without trouble. I basically have to Trick this thing a Flame Orb or Black Sludge and hope I can stall it out from there. Even a +6 STAB Dark Pulse coming from a fully invested Dark Pulse is not always enough to Two-Hit-KO it. I could put it to sleep with Prankster spore, but some of these things run Rest + Sleep Talk that is basically a perfect stop for this team.

talonflame.png

Talonflame:
Even though I have not seen as many Talonflame's as I expected, they have definitely ruined my strategy and thus I wanted to include it to the list. It's naturally faster than Liepard and this also gets Priority to it's moves. Because it is faster than Liepard, it outspeeds my priority with its own. And Liepard having the defenses of a wet paper towel, it is likely to die to this thing.

mega_mewtwo_by_n_kin-d60riv1.png

Mega Mewtwo-Y:
Even though it might be weird that there is a pure Psychic type Pokémon in a threat list of a team that has a Dark type as main attacker, this thing does cause a problem to me. Due to its Insomnia ability, I can not put it to sleep with Liepard. This means I have to get behind a Substitute and be at +2 Special Attack so I can One-Hit-KO it. And even then it's a roll.

It's not only Pokémon that can disable my team. But even items and moves can give me trouble. They are not necessarily the most common, but they're common enough for me to include them to the list.

latest

Sleep Talk:
Sleep Talk is one of those moves that you don't always expect, but then suddenly get destroyed by. My team relies on inducing Sleep, so this move can sting me in the ass. I try to find out what set a player runs on their Pokémon, before setting up. Just so I do not get surprised by a Sleep Talk user.

latest

Hyper Voice:
Hyper Voice is not extremely common, but there is 2 Pokémon that are useful enough that makes me want to include this move. Hyper Voice, being a sound move, will hit through my Liepard's Substitute and most likely killing it. Liepard is frail, so it can't take many moves, if any at all. The most notable users of this move get an extra boost to it and even hit Liepard for super effective damage. They are Mega Gardevoir and Mega Altaria.

lumberry.png
&
berry02.png

Lum Berry & Chesto Berry:
Believe it or not, but an item is a problem to my team. These are items you could see on the most random Pokémon and get absolutely demolished by it. Lum and Chesto Berry both heal Sleep and that is what my team uses to be successful. Make sure you scout first, before setting up with Liepard and attempting a sweep. These 2 things can actually turn it around real fast.

Conclusion:
Even though my team has quite a few flaws, it is can be surprisingly effective. It requires some getting used to, but this team can definitely work. I also won a tournament with this in the Other Metas room which included high-leveled players. Please, do keep in mind that this team is nothing serious. I am a person that likes using gimmicky and shitty strategies to win a Pokémon battle. The surprise factor of this team, is what I think makes it effective. On team preview you'd probably accuse your opponent for smoking crack, but then you get swept by a cute kitty. If you manage to get around the flaws it has, this can be your go-to Anything Goes team. Give it a shot and let me know what you think of it.

Replays:
NOTE: These are not necessarily high-leveled games. These replays are added to show how this gimmicky team works! These replays are by people challenging me in the Help room or Lobby.

I think the best part of this is the replays section where "gimmicky teams can still work" and then there's like a UU team and Rotom-Fan.
But seeing as it's an intentionally unviable team dressed up to look funny, why not throw on chatot over something? I think chatter is pretty funny, also got Mirror Move and Mimic, and it's pretty cute

edit: trick flame orb because you want them to be immune to spore? try assault vest to beat sleep talk users, although I'm kicking myself for making a legit suggestion

Oh , thats the best, worst team of the world ! What a sick mind with some time can create, is always interesting too see :D
You don't know if you supposed to love or hate the team , but thats the point ! I can only advise every user to try the team yourself and see for their selfes, how diabolically funny it is to beat people with this team !
Ps.: Ily Kaasumi :3
