Lead: Azelf@Focus Sash
Naive
4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~Stealth Rock
~Psychic
~Explosion
~Taunt

Psychic 2HKOs 252/0 Rotom-A, Taunt stops other leads from their set up, Explosion is leave with damage done, and Stealth Rock for advantage. With his high speed and Focus Sash, he is guaranteed a SR and then explode. A lead like this is great to start off with disrupting other spikers. Taunt on a predicted spike, set up my spikes, get hit, and then explode to damage.

Out to STAT Boosters: Skarmory@Leftovers
Impish
252 HP / 72 Def / 184 Spe
~ Taunt
~ Bravebird
~ Roost
~ Whirlwind

Many times I remember STAT boosting Pokemon such as Curselax being an issue. Well, while switching onto a Pokemon with its STAT boost, I can whirlwind it out canceling the boost. Or if they switch in a STAT booster, I can set up a Taunt. Roost keeps it in the game and Bravebird is STAB with some power. It can disrupt a switch around strategy to counter weakness and gives me an advantage on what to switch in.

Mixed Sweeper: Dragonite@Life Orb
Rash
112 Atk / 196 SpA / 200 Spe
~ Superpower
~ Draco Meteor
~ Flamethrower
~ Thunderbolt

2HKO a Blissey, aka the sponge of Pokemon; a Tyrannitar, and a Heatran that switches in on my Stealth Rock. A good sweeper with speed and power. Hardly anything can survive a SE attack after Stealth Rock damage. As I remembered every good team needs a dragon sweeper. But I could be wrong, but Dragonite is very useful in sending around some damage.

Physical Attacker: Mamoswine@Choice Band
Jolly
252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
~Earthquake
~Ice Shard
~Stone Edge
~Superpower

Jolly is my choice to make him faster then usual. His base Atk makes up for it. Basic set for covering a large range of types and Ice Shard going from 40 to 90 with Choice Band and STAB with a +1 priority makes him lethal. After Dragonite has fun and Mamoswine can finish off pokemon if Ice Shard is effective.

Special Attacker: Gengar@Life Orb
Timid
4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~Shadow Ball
~Thunderbolt
~Focus Blast
~Explosion

Immune to Ground, Fighting and Normal he is a great switch in. His move pool and base 130 Special Attack and 110 Speed make him a threat to not be taken lightly. Especially with a Life Orb giving moves an extra 30 power. Explosion is a last resort and with Life Orb does 280 damage. Gengar is my tool to some massive damage on their team. He combos well with the Stealth Rock set up.

OMGWTF!? Wall: Blissey@Leftovers
252 HP / 184 Def / 72 SpD
Bold
~Softboiled
~Seismic Toss
~Thunder Wave
~Aromatherapy

The one wall in the game who can sponge all damage except for an uber using Focus Blast, a well-played Earthquake and a Close Combat. Aromatherapy can heal the team's health issues after sh switches in to a predicted attack. Softboiled it to live longer, Seismic Toss to possibly 3HKO Pokemon and Thunder Wave to slow down a fast threat.

I am trying to get more of an in-depth explanation on my team.

For Dragonite, since you already have Superpower, you could take out Flamethrower for something like Earthquake. It'll allow you to kill Ground types easier. Also, take the 4 EVs out of Defense for Gengar and put them into Attack. It'll make Explosion just a little stronger.

I won't be able to give a full rate, but on blissey an ev spread of 24 hp/252 def/232 sdef calm is much more efficient. Sorry I can't do more but I have to go somewhere. Gl with the team

Jenica@Okay I see, more move coverage and Gengar has excellent speed already and some more EV's in Attack wont hurt.
Dark Paladin7@Okay I will look into it. And thanks.

Hello, nice team.

First of all, I have problems with you using Blissey. Everything is doing for you is basically slow you down, and badly. Blissey may seem like a great pokemon to add to a team, but the deal with her is that although she can wall a lot of things, it cant do anything to the others, which basically means that things like "Cro" pokemons and sub users will have a party against your team. And talking about weaknesses, your team is incredibly stall (and "semistall") weak. Your Blissey and Mamoswine specifically are a free invite for layer users like Forretress and Skarmory to come in and start setting up hazards, which in the long run will easily overdue your pokemons and make you lose. Instead of Blissey im going to recommend a Pokemon that will actually help you gain momentum in the match and also help you revenge kill stuff, which is a big problem here since basically everything with a boosting move will sweep you, Gyarados, Kingdra, Metagross, etc. The pokemon im talking about is Jirachi, an excellent revenge killer which will let you gain control of the match when used correctly.

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Iron Head
- Fire Punch
- Thunderpunch
- U-turn

This set can be changed to complete whatever you need. Iron Head is basically the main move, having that 60% flinch chance is great, and can also work as a live saver in some times, beating even things like Blissey. Fire Punch helps you act as an SD Lucario, SD Scizor, and other Steels counter, since you arent OHKOd by them while you OHKO back with your move. Thunderpunch is what you will use when you face Gyarados and other waters who would otherwise laugh at this set. It also helps you beat Empoleon, who could totally trouble you late game. Last spot is for U-Turn, move which lets you get momentum on to see what is their counter to the move you are "expected" to use, like Thunderpunch on Gyarados. There are other options, mainly Ice Punch, which lets you hit DD Mence, DD Dragonite and Flygon, which are all well received, so its all good if you decide to use that over U-Turn. The other option is Trick, which lets you hit something like lets say Rotom or Skarmory that tries to switch in, which basically means it could make your life easier against stall teams.

Now Mamoswine may seem cool in paper, but it really is just standing there, trying to hit stuff, but if Mamoswine is already very predictable, imagine how predictable a choiced one would be. Mamoswine is acting as a Mence counter of sorts I think? If you run Ice Punch with Jirachi thats fixed, therefore Mamoswine is no longer required in your team. Instead, this spot I would have it reserved dedicated to something that will not only aid your team by removing hazards set up by stall, but also will help you by adding key resistances your team lacks (to be clear i think every single team requires a water type). Therefore, I suggest you try out Starmie.
There are 2 sets you could use, either the Life Orb one (Offensive Power, spins things better by 2HKOing Rotom on stall and managing to spin things later) or the defensive one (aids you vs things like Gyarados and Scizor). The moves are: Offensive - Rapid spin, Hydro Pump/Surf, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam with Life Orb. Surf or Hydro Pump is for preference, power or reliability, it really depends on what you like more. Defensive one uses Rapid Spin, Surf, Recover and either Ice Beam or Thunderbolt, picking what you wanna hit, the dragons and grasses or other waters and fliers. If you opt for the defensive set, you wont need to have Thunderpunch on Jirachi, and can use that slot for Ice Punch, which makes up for losing Ice Beam on Starmie. Now, I would certainly go with Life Orb due to the offensive nature of your team, but if you want to add a little bulk to your team, its all fine. Offensive should run 252 SpA/252 Speed with 4 HP to max out the offensive power, while the Defensive one uses is 208 HP, 84 Def and 216 Speed, in order to take hits from things like the mentioned-before Gyarados. Both run Timid, since speed is fundamental to make Starmie work correctly.

Talking about hazards, im trying to figure out why you arent exploding the best thing Skarmory has, Spikes. Skarm really shines at spiking to let other pokemons start a sweep, which is great for your team having brothers like Gengar, Starmie and even Jirachi, plus Dragonite. Your moveset seems alright, although I would consider changing those 72 Def EVs into Special Defense and the nature changing to Careful. Special Defensive Skarmory is really the new fad on Skarmory, and for good reason, since it lets it set up way easier on Vaporeons, Blisseys, etc., and also makes a great switch-in to Draco Meteors, then shrugging them off with ease, which helps a lot now that you dont have Blissey (if you follow the changes I recommended). The moves need a slight change, which would be removing either Whirlwind (I wouldnt recommend this) or Brave Bird. Taunt, Spikes, Roost, Whirlwind/Brave Bird should be your set, Whirlwind being great since you will be able to force things out and make them eat damage, while hazing troublesome pokes. Brave Bird can be used if you really really want to hit like Gyarados, but phazing it works just as well, so I think you should remove Brave Bird. Everything else is fine.

For your Dragonite, if you are using a mixed set, you would benefit way more from using Roost instead of Thunderbolt, since Draco Meteor hits waters hard enough, and Roost will aid you to take hits and also switch into SR more comfortably (though with Starmie you wont have to worry about SR at all). Now, you said you wanted a Dragon Sweeper, so im wondering why you dont use Mixmence over Dragonite. Its basically the exact same, but with Intimidate, higher speed (very important), and more power. Either Classic Mixmence or New Mixmence works, and they function as well as Dragonite, since Brick Break / Outrage respectively 2HKO Blissey, and Brick Break / EQ OHKO/2HKO Heatran and Tyranitar. I recommend you try out Salamence, although if you really dont like it (I dont see why you wouldnt!) you can come back to Dragonite.

Both Gengar and Azelf look alright, if anything you may want to use a Bait Gengar set, which is the same as yours but with Substitute over Explosion and HP Fire over Thunderbolt or even Focus Blast. This makes Scizor get OHKOd by HP Fire, and Focus Blast OHKOs ScarfTtar who may want to Pursuit you. Thunderbolt is great to hit waters, so its really feasible as well. This is not necessary though, since Explosion would help you a lot against Blissey to then let LO Starmie sweep or even use Draco Meteor easier.

This is all that comes to mind, do take that these are not obligatory changes, you can tweak them as you want in order for your team to be better, so feel free to test them out and without anything else to say, good luck with your team!

Just a little nitpick here. Why do you have Timid on Gengar? Timid lowers Explosion's power so you should run Naive or Hasty. Anyway GL with the team.:naughty:
