RMT - Dark Fusion's Team Unveiled

I just wanted to unveil my team, hoping that the great community of Smogon could help me out. I'll try to give out as many details as possible.

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Naive Nature
6 Atk / 252 Sp Atk / 252 Speed
-Taunt
-Stealth Rock
-Psychic
-Explosion

Max Speed is needed to at least tie with Positive Natured Speed 115s. It allows me to set-up Stealth Rock and disable slower leads with Taunt that usually set-up. Psychic for STAB and the ability to OHKO a lot of leads and Pokemon. Explosion for it to go out with a bang, having the ability to OHKO the likes of Blissey and Gyarados (if BulkyDos, Stealth Rock damage is needed after the Intimidate; the same goes for Blissey if I have a -1 Atk).

Celebi @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Speed
-Leech Seed
-Reflect
-Recover
-Grass Knot

Physical Wall and Gyrados/Lucario Counter. Reflect stops most physical sweepers and allows me to support the team. Leech Seed obviously causes switches as well as drain the foe's HP while replenishing my own. Recover is to keep Celebi out longer, obviously and Grass Knot for STAB (It also does quite a number on quite a few Pokemon in OU).

Heatran @ Leftovers
Modest Nature
252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef (EV Spread suggested by Venom to maximize Sp Def resistance)
-Lava Plume
-Earth Power/Dragon Pulse
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Celebi + Heatran are obviously an amazing pair. RestTran allows me to take advantage of those resistances and gives me an awesome wall. Heatran is my status sponge, as well as gives me a semi-support move with Lava Plume's burn rate. I'm still not sure on whether to go for Earth Power or Dragon Pulse, though.

Swampert @ Leftovers
Impish Nature
252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Def
-Waterfall
-Earthquake
-Avalanche
-Roar

The Swampert was suggested by Venom to handle threats such as Weavile and Scarftran. Water/Ground/Ice will let it hit next to everything commonly found in OU (Shedinja is handled by the other Pokes, while Surskit... well... Surskit is Uber, so I don't worry too much about it), while Roar will let me shuffle my opponent's Pokes, maximizing Stealth Rock damage and give me a PHazer on the team.

Garchomp @ Yache Berry
Jolly Nature
6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Speed
-Swords Dance
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Fire Fang

YacheChomp is an amazing Pokemon, as you all may know. I have been able to Baton Pass Belly Drum to this thing quite a few times, which usually means game, due to the fact that Infernape usually takes care of Sashers with a turn-one Stealth Rock. Even if I'm not able to Baton Pass the Belly Drum, it can set-up with its own Swords Dance and go to town.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Naive Nature
24 Atk / 252 Sp Atk / 232 Speed
-Close Combat
-Flamethrower
-Grass Knot
-HP Ice

My mixed sweeper. If anything goes wrong, he can take the Belly Drum and maximize that amazing Close Combat of his. This Infernape is meant to come in late-game and sweep. HP Ice for dragons/Gliscor in case any of them are still alive and think they can come in freely. Close Combat and Flamthrower are obviously excellent STAB moves (I'm actually thinking about just going with Fire Blast, but I'm still somewhat unsure), and Grass Knot for coverage.

So there you have it. I would like to thank you in advance for any help you could provide me.

Because you're a girl...(jk)

I never see the use of Taunt on a leading Azelf to be honest, I'd rather put something like Flamethrower or Thunderbolt over it, to hit lead Bronzong and Gyarados, since either one is very unexpected. I would suggest you replacing your Heatran's EVs with 252 HP /48 Def / 208 SDef @ Modest, being able to take hits from Azelf and Gengar is pretty useful, while Modest lets you hit hard back, I have personally used this set with sucess and can assure you it can take big blows from Gengar and hit it back, and there isn't much to say about your Celebi. As of right now, on paper, Weavile pretty much handles you, but MixApe stops it from sweeping, not counter it. If you go with Dragon Pulse on Heatran, ScarfTran stops you cold, with HP Ice variants will be a pain in the ass, but if you don't carry Dragon Pulse there is the possiblity of when RestTalking Gengar may give you problems, but it would depend on luck, which hitting Earth Power will fuck you up.

I don't see a spot for Smeargle in this team, although it clear you want a Belly Drummer, but there are major things you need to handle. ScargTran and Weavile are handled by a Bulky Water, and Swampert does an amazing job at it. Replacing Smeargle with Swampert would seem promising, it will help you get rid of the Weaviles and Heatrans, since HP Grass is nowhere to be seen on Heatran these days because of the lack of Swamperts. 252 Hp / 4 Atk / 252 Def @ Adamant Swampert should be fine, it can induce Stealth Rocks aswell, so use it wisely. Heracross and Lucario are some things to be on the look out for, as they can tear this team apart, since you can't rely on Celebi to take blows from Heracross or Lucario. If this troubles you, then Gliscor over Smeargle can also be another good idea, or a Physical Bulky Salamence, since you can actually handle the Ice Attacks, but it will make you Mamoswine / Weavile weak, so try out all 3 of them and see which ones suits you more.

Thank you for letting me know about that mistake, Chinese Dood. I must have hit 5 instead of 3. :p

Hmm... I see where you are coming from. I'll test Swampert instead of Smeargle. Waterfall / Avalanche / Earthquake / Roar (to maximize Stealth Rock damage and shuffling)? Is there any reason as to why you suggested Adamant instead of a +Defense nature such as Impish or Relaxed?

As for Azelf, Taunt has actually disabled a couple of Pokemon and given me at least an extra turn to setup Stealth Rock, but I'll try either Flamethrower or Thunderbolt instead.

I'll try out the EV Spread for Heatran, thank you very much for your insight on my team.

No reason at all really, Impish and Relaxed are always if you want more defense, I just choose Adamant in case you want Attack aswell.

Ah, ok, I understand. In that case I think I'm going to go with Impish, if only for the extra defense.

I was also thinking about adding Weavile or Deoxys-S to the team. It would take care of ScarfChomp, Gengar, etc. The problem is that I would probably have to drop the Swampert. I'm still unsure on this, though.

By the way, I playtested Gliscor and it seemed to help out quite a bit.
