Hi!
I was making a new team, then suddendly I came to some problems, in synergy and EV spread. But anyway, here goes what I have until now.
Strategy: Make Togekiss use follow me to set up Sunny day with cherrim, activates Flower gift for then start to attack.
Might need better clorophyllers and Pokemons to cover weaknesses.
Cherrim@Heat Rock
Modest - Flower gift
EVs: 252Spec Att, 252Spec def, 6 Speed
-Sunny day
-Solarbeam
-Helping hand
-Protect
Cherrim is my mainly pokemon to set up sunny day, and with Flower gift, my pokemons will thank not only the spec. def. rise, but with the attack too.
While writing the EVs, i figured that maybe I should put them like this: 252Spec att, 252Speed, 6Spec. def. but with flower gift bonus, maybe cherrim can take pretty good stuff out of this.
Solarbeam is there for STAB, Helping hand to help the partner, and Protect for my pokemons kill the oppponent's pokemon, while Flower gift is in play.
Togekiss@Leftovers
Calm - Serene Grace
EVs: 200Hp, 200Spec def, 100Spec Att, 10Speed
-Roost
-Follow me
-Air slash
-Flamethrower
Well, one of my friends suggested that EV spread, and I liked it. Togekiss is essencially on this team to pair with Cherrim, since Cherrim(in my opinion) is a little bit fragile, thats why I decided to give togekiss Follow me. Air Slash is essencialy to the STAB, and to counter those fighting types, other grasser and bugs(heracross comes to my mind, even though it is uncommon in double battles)Flamethrower is powerfull and with the help of Sunny day and probably Helping hand, I think it can make some serious damage to the opponent.
Tangrowth@Leftovers
Bold - Clorophyll
EVs: ???
-Rock slide
-Earthquake
-Sunny Day
-Power whip
There is my main problem, I was trying to make a more resistant team, and when I was looking to tangrowth's movesets that exists on smogon, I saw the bulkier one, and I thought: "Great!", but then I saw that for a clorophyller tangrowth, it's better to max out the speed. So, making a bulkier, with good speed is kind of hard for me, I tried so many Evs spreads, and none satisfied me, that's why I need your help.
Anyway, moving on, Rock Slide to hit both pokemons and to get some coverage, Earthquake do basically the same, Power whip for a powerfull STAB move. Tangrowth is my second pokemon to set up Sunny day, and is my physicall wall.
Arcanine@Life Orb
Adamant - Flash Fire
EVs: 252Att, 252Speed, 6Hp
-Extremespeed
-Thunderfang
-Fire Fang/Flare blitz (more likely to use Fire Fang)
-Crunch
My physicall sweeper. Comes in when cherrim or tangrowth are targets for fire moves, flash fire activates and then "GO GO Arcanine!". I think Flare blitz is a pretty risky move, all the damage can kill me in like 2 turns maybe, recoil from Flare blitz + damage from LO, probably I'll go with the fire fang
Charizard @ Choice Specs
Timid - Blaze
EVs: 252Spec Att, 252Speed, 6Hp
-Air slash
-Heat wave
-Focus blast
-Dragon Pulse
Charizard is my special sweeper, I decided go with timid nature, because choice specs give it a really good special attack stat, and speed is allways great. Heat wave, besides giving me a good STAB move, hits both of the opponent's pokemons. Air slash is my other STA attack, giving me some chance to flinch the opponent. Focus blast is for coverage and dragon pulse to get rid of dragons (essencially if I come face to face to a kingdra setting up rain, I don't know if kills it, but it's when my partner comes in =D)
Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Careful - Pressure
EVs: 252HP, 252Spec def, 6Def
-Will-o-Wisp
-Fire Punch
-Shadow sneak
-Earthquake/Thunderpunch/Ice punch
I went for the tank set from smogon, with some changes. Pain split is gone, because there is no point on healing if you have two pokemons trying to knock you down, WoW, lowers the opponent's attack, so starting here I decided to put 252 Evs ins special Defense. Fire punch is a move to stay due to all the sunny day thing. Then I probably will go to shadow sneak to kill those little 1hp left annoyers, and since it gives me STAB, I can use it more often. And now, I don't think I'll need that ice punch, because there's not too many dragons in doubles (atleast for me ultill now), Earthquake hits all pokemons in play, except the user, which might come handy, but thunderpunch is great too, killing flying types and water types. Probably I'll go with shadow sneak and EQ, since it's my only chance to hit hard on Heatran.
So, that's my team, and as you may see, I need some help.
Threat List:
-Other fire types: only arcanine, as it absorbs fire moves.
-Rain Dance Team: My counters are only dusknoir and my sunny day Pokemons.
-Fast Water types: Since I don't have fast clorophyllers, only dusknoir can take the job.
Comment and rate.
P.s.: I was thinking switching dusknoir for meganium or belossom.
