RMT: EncoreBot

Gawd, I lost the first one I typed up over an hour... So here's a quick breakdown instead this time.

Burning! (Infernape) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk/252 SAtk/232Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fire Blast
- Stealth Rock
- Close Combat
- Encore

Modified LeadApe. :P I call it the Encore LeadApe. Fire Blast and Close Combat are essential to scaring away things that would otherwise switch in with impunity, Stealth Rock to rack passive damage, ESPECIALLY with switches being common against an Encore team, and Encore to, well, fit the theme.

King! (Kingdra) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 92 HP/252 SAtk/162 Spd
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Rain Dance
- Surf
- Dragon Pulse
- HP [Electric]

Swift Swim set from the Special end. With only a one-turn set-up, Kingdra proceeds to rip gaping holes in the opposition. Life Orb makes Kingdra hit harder to score some KOs, like against SkyMin after Stealth Rock. Surf because Rain Dance is all about abusing Rain Moves, and Dragon Pulse beats through stuff that resists Surf. HP Electric kills Empoleon, but I'm considering Signal Beam to remove Celebi from the fray in one shot. Hmmmm.

Gengar (Gengar) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 136 Atk/120 Atk/252 Spd
Naive nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Hypnosis
- Focus Blast
- Explosion
- Shadow Ball

The whole point of this Gengar is to kill Dusknoir, Blissey, and Snorlax, and perhaps Regice with EXPLOSION!!!

-cough- Okay, not Dusknoir, but Dusknoir falls to Shadow Ball if it doesn't have Shadow Sneak, so meh. Anyway, yes, Gengar likes to kill special walls with Explosion. The Attack EVs guarantee a KO on Blissey anytime, anywhere, any place. Focus Blast and Shadow Ball give perfect coverage, and Hypnosis discourages things that are not special walls from switching in. :P

SuperStar! (Starmie) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 170 HP/252 Spd/88 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Surf

If you plan on switching a lot with Encore, you need a Spinner to beat out entry hazards. Starmie also likes to kill Gyarados with Thunderbolt. However, with the rising popularity of Dragons, I wonder if Ice Beam merits a slot, and if so, what move it goes over. Rapid Spin is a must-have, and I'm not sure to drop Surf or drop Thunderbolt. Hmm.

Togekiss (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/20 Def/236 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Encore
- Substitute
- Baton Pass

This was originally the standard Encore support set, but I decided that status was wreaking too much havoc, so I had this Togekiss. I'm debating whether I should have Lum Berry over Leftovers so I can switch in on incoming status and do the Sub and Encore to lock the guy into status. Anyway, Togekiss can pass fat subs. All the better for any recipent to hide behind and set-up. :P

Zeta Gundam (Porygon-Z) (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Download
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spd
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Agility
- Nasty Plot
- Shadow Ball
- HP [Fighting]

This is DANGEROUS. This is ESPECIALLY for those scenarios where I Encore a set-up move. Switch Porygon in, hopefully get a Download boost, Agility first, see what they switch in. If Sash is still there, go for Nasty Plot. If not, go straight for the kill. If they don't switch anything in... Have fun. :P Shadow Ball and HP Fight give perfect coverage so that I won't have to pick between killing Ghosts or Steels/Rocks as with taking Tri-Attack. Auto-kill.

Moral of the story: Switch when Encored. :P

Rate please. :D

Naive nature raises Speed and lowers Special Defense, not Defense. Also, your Infernape's EVs are invalid. 252 Special Attack plus 232 Speed plus 64 Attack equals 548, not 510 (or 508). I don't get why you have Jolly nature on Infernape and not Naive or Hasty, because all Jolly is doing is taking away from your pretty good attack power. Use Naive or Hasty because they raise Speed and lower Special Defense and Defense respectively, and Infernape will get down to 1 HP from one attack most likely anyway, so Special Defense and Defense is not needed. Everything else looks good. Anyway, good luck with the team.

I know you want to keep coverage, but Tri Attack is a necessity on almost every Porygon-Z set. It hits hard and can spread status (to help your sweep) Just choose one of the moves and replace with Tri Attack (you could make the Togekiss a NP passer, to open up space)

OMG I forgot to change the natures :x:x:x I couldn't get export to text to work, so I had to edit a copypaste from a previous physically inclined version.

Infernape should be Naive and have 192 in Speed. Sorry for error. :x

Porygon Z is fragile, so it can't afford to 2HKO, so I definitely need the coverage. Besides, status isn't going to aid my sweep if it's not already there beforehand. :x And P-Z can agilitate to speed up. While it's not out of the question to have Togekiss pass Nasty Plot, I would then need something else to take advantage of Encoring status moves, so I'll need help on that. ><
