celebi.png

Celebi @ Occa Berry
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 40 HP / 216 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Leaf Storm
- Psychic
- Earth Power
First I needed a lead which could set up Stealth Rock and paralyze at the same time, as my team is mainly based on paralysis. Celebi came to mind with its bulk and acces to both SR and TWave. 252 HP lets it live an UnSTAB U-Turn from most leads. 216 Speed outspeeds Gliscor and other base 95s and the rest go into Special Attack for more power. Im considering switching Celebi for an Uxie or something, but am not sure for what.

swampert.png

Swampert (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 216 Def / 52 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Roar

dragonite.png

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Spd / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Heal Bell
- Roost
Dragonite was a last minute addition xD. I used to have a Sub Flygon here but it lacked power. So i tried this set and fell in love with it lol. He can take special hits like a Beast. Taking 35% from Heatran's Dragon Pulse and setting up in its face unless it explodes :( .
It takes ~50% from a Vaporeon's Ice Beam so you can imagine how bulky it is. Most neutral special hits wont even dent it. Heal Bell lets it act as a cleric to the team and also lets it set up on toxic vaporeon and most blissey. Roost is for healing. Dragon Claw is its only attacking move because he really doesent need another. It gives great coverage, and in todays metagame, with Salamence and Latias banned, people are using less steels so its even better.

heatran.png

Heatran (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 24 HP / 220 Spd / 252 SAtk / 12 SDef
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse
- Substitute
Heatran replaced Togekiss on my team because Togekiss shared an Ice and Rock weakness with DNite, so i wanted another special attacker. SubTran came to mind. The 52 HP EVs give him a leftovers number. 220 Speed outspeeds Defensive Zapdos, Defensive Celebi and Jolly TTar. The rest are put into Special Attack for power.

scizor.png

Scizor (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Brick Break
- Roost
I love Roost Scizor. It can easily set up SDs on weak attackers, Roost off the damage then sweep :D . Standard EVs and Moveset. The added bulk makes it easy to set up a couple of SDs and Scizor doesent really need the speed that much.

lanturn.png

Lanturn (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 40 HP / 76 Def / 140 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Thunder Wave
- Confuse Ray
Lanturn is here because i love its unique typing xD. It completely walls Starmie, Physical Jirachi, Empoleon, and many more pokemon who rely on the boltbeam combo. It can take Special hits really well and also provides paralysis support. BoltBeam form his attacks, giving great coverage. I chose toxic over surf because this means Lanturn can effectively deal with walls and Surf didnt give too much coverage anyway.

From what I see here, your team is very SD Lucario weak. It can set up on Dragonite only admittedly, but afterwards it can OHKO all of you team with Celebi being its only check. Your team also looks like it could be hurt by Kingdra as it can kill Heatran and Dragonite, as well as Lanturn, although it will have a hard time Outraging with 2 steel Pokemon. To remedy this, you could potentialy put a Swampert on your team. With enough defense EVs, it can survive a +2 Close Combat and obliterate with Earthquake. It can also Roar away DD boosts that Kingdra may have gained or attack with Earthquake. Your team seems to be centered around Hetran, since paralysis support helps it the most. Gliscor checks Heatran, Lanturn (I believe EQ OHKOs), Scizor (SD Bullet Punches hurt) and shuts down Dragonite. So I would definitely put on Ice Punch over Stone Edge for Hariyama. Not sure if I did but hope I helped.
Good Luck

Hello,

Looking over everything as a whole, I think that this team quite accurately fits the theme of "Parahax." Having played with this style for a considerable amount of time, I'll do my best to suggest changes that may help you out.

Notable Problems

  • Fighting-type sweepers
I'm specifically referring to Infernape and SD Lucario here. To begin with, Infernape can actually net a pretty easy 6-0 sweep on this team with a bit of residual damage. Dragonite needs to watch out for Stone Edge or Hidden Power Ice, while Lanturn takes a lot from a Physicall-based Infernape's Close Combat. In addition, any Lucario that sets up and carries Crunch will be able to sweep unhindered as well.

Suggestions

I'm going to actually suggest a couple of total replacements here, which is very unusual for me considering I don't like to change the original team too much. Feel free to disregard my advice if you would prefer to stick with the Pokemon you're currently using. However, speaking from personal experience playing with teams of a similar nature, I can state with relative certainty that these changes will benefit you overall.

  • Replace Hariyama
Hariyama is definitely viable in OU to some degree, but there is another Fighting-type Pokemon that basically outclasses it in most aspects and fits perfectly into paralysis-inducing teams. This would be Machamp, and I would recommend you utilize its Sub + 3 Attacks set over Hariyama's current position:

Machamp (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs: 252 HP/244 Atk/12 Spe
- Substitute
- DynamicPunch
- Ice Punch
- Payback

The 100% confusion rate provided by Machamp's DynamicPunch is outstanding with paralysis; in addition to hitting extremely hard, your opponent will only have a 30% to even make a move taking into account both confusion and paralysis. Substitute gives you a way to protect yourself from status, while the other moves provide good coverage against a plethora of threats.

  • Replace Scizor
On a Parahax team, ideal Pokemon to use include slow but hard-hitting sweepers. SD Scizor can be a very effective set if played correctly, but its use of Bullet Punch means that speed isn't of major concern to it. Extending the paralysis theme and retaining a similar typing, Sub + T-wave Jirachi would be the perfect addition to any such team:

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Nature: Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
EVs: 164 HP/168 Atk/176 Spe
- Thunder Wave
- Iron Head
- Fire Punch
- Substitute

Team X is perhaps the best-known team that utilized this strategy, and reading through it may be useful in understanding your own team better. As an added bonus, Jirachi's speed and access to Fire Punch allow it to serve as a reliable check to Lucario.

Infernape remains your biggest threat, but there isn't much left to suggest to patch up this weakness, unless you're willing to try out a bulkier Water-type than Lanturn. Speaking of which, I would advise you to try Confuse Ray over Toxic on its set. Confuse Ray works very well with Thunder Wave, providing a situation similar to that of Machamp's DynamicPunch, while preventing you from using conflicting status moves, which is never a good thing.

Good luck with your team!

Okay taking note. Ive decided to replace Hariyama with a Swampert because Swampert fills the same role basically (phazing and chacking physical threats.)

Swapped Toxic with Confuse Ray on Lanturn.

I will not replace Scizor with Jirachi since Scizor provides a method of revenge killing when I dont get Paralysis on. Plus Jirachi adds a severe Ground type weakness that I dont want.

Lanturn stays since its a reliable check to Starmie and my Team may have some problems with it without it.
