[1v1-Wifi/Friend Battles]
Sooo members of the Smogon community, after coming back to the series with D/P/P after leaving it at Gold, this is my first time I've ever decided to play the game at the EV training level, (t'was a little young for that at the time) etc, and so far I've decided on this team, (I'd -like- to field Persian just because I like the pokemon, but I'm not sure if it's plausible) is there anything you'd recommend I should defiantly change, or tweaks I should make please?
Sorry if things aint quite that informative as to why I chose pokemon, I mean I think my reasoning is sound, but umm...

Offensive
Life Orb Adamant
Moveset
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Ice Fang
~ Earthquake
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Is an always has been an extremely effective pokemon against anything that isnt electric or grass, with earthquake making a massive impact and Dragon dance further increasing it's attack power. Waterfall is handy against hard hitters, as the confuse makes them slightly less of a threat for a while, and earthquake does insane damage, especially against Fire and Electric types.
Lucario
Swords Dance
Razor Claw Inner Focus Adamant
Moveset
~ Swords Dance
~ Close Combat
~ ExtremeSpeed
~ Stone Edge
252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
This guy fills my physical sweeper spot, enhancing his moves with Swords dance, and extreme speed alowing him to hit first, without the risk of getting butchered before he can attack (given his weakness do fighting moves, doh)
Snorlax
Curselax
Leftovers Thick Fat Careful
Moveset
~ Curse
~ Body Slam
~ Rest
~ Earthquake
168 HP / 120 Def / 220 SpD
Makes an effective wall, abet not as good as Blissy, but I just like Snorlax more as a pokemon, and I used him a lot in G/S, and rest allows him to heal up, if trying to stall opponents (although I am debating whether or not to replace rest with something else, the variable was Selfdestruct, which I've never liked using), and Body Slam can cause paralyse, which can buy you some time and slightly defang enemy pokemon, perhaps giving you that extra move in which you don't get hit.
Electvire
Physical Attacker
Expert Belt Adamant
Moveset
~ ThunderPunch
~ Ice Punch
~ Cross Chop
~ Earthquake
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
A durable physical attacker, with a diverse move type pool that hits hard and fast. I generally start with him, while his weaknesses are rock and ground, his diverse move pool makes him a good starter, as if he isnt weak against the opponents team, he'll generally be able to hit it with something painful.
Infernape
Nasty Plot MixApe
Item Naive
Moveset EVs
~ Nasty Plot
~ Fire Blast
~ Close Combat
~ Grass Knot
64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
Excellent for taking down walls, coupled with a high speed, and grass knot is effective heavy pokemon, who're generally powerful or walls, on top of Close Combat being excellent against Walls such as Blissy.
Porygon-Z
Choice Specs Adaptability Modest
Moveset EVs
~ Tri Attack
~ Hidden Power Fighting
~ Dark Pulse
~ Hyper Beam
4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
This guy packs a massive punch, and further fills a special sweeper spot in the team. The choice specs make his SpA massive, and Tri attack will just put a hole through pretty much anything as far as I can tell and have found in tests.
If anything in there seems a little bizzare, it'll be because I just went with my instincts as to what to choose, so if I made any mistakes...well, y'know.
I think the main problem looking around is that they dont exactly have synergy, they slot their moves in around each other, as far as I can tell quite a few teams move around a main pokemon (like sunny day and the like).
Edit: forgot to cut out the variables ><
