Hello, i have been using HO for a while in RU and i wanted to make a guide of the process of building Webs in RU, it's a bit tricky to build as while it has some very powerful abusers that go from good to great thanks to webs like bisharp, gallade and armarouge, and a good matchup into the primary removal option in cyclizard thanks to ribombee, it has a lot of trouble with a lot of very popular mons like Zapdos-galar which is not affected by the webs and will nuke everything with it's choice scarf and stop a sweep, Maushold that while not very threatening once slowed, can destroy an unprepared team turn 1 and last but not least, Bisharp which thanks to Defiant, high bulk and it's reliance on priority, can totally ignore any negative from the web and instead become an unstoppable sweeping machine, especially with tera, some noteworthy mentions of problem mons include talonflame and weezing that can easily sit on some physical attackers and remove the web

The Building Process
:SV/ribombee:

the classic webs lead, it's fast, it gets para, it can threaten the n°1 spinner in cyclizard and it can threaten weezing-galar with psynoise, it's enormous speed is also very useful as it means you basically don't have to worry about taunt or dying to some anti-lead with a multi-hit move before placing the webs, not a lot to say other than that

next, now that we have our setter we need to think about a spinblocker, to keep the webs on even if ribombee fainted which leads to our second mon

:SV/golurk:

i originally chose mimikyu but after some testing and tinkering i found that golurk was the best spinblocker, it's low speed is compensated by the webs and the rest of it's stats are very solid, it can threaten huge damage on many mons and even tank super effective hits, we use the Colbur Berry to assist in completely walling cyclizard and because it doesn't really need an item, it also allows us thanks to this spread to live to pretty safely live a +2 bisharp sucker punch after rocks (+2 252+ Atk Bisharp Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 52 Def Colbur Berry Golurk: 276-325 (86.5 - 101.8%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock) and live it for near guaranteed without rocks while threatening a huge Dynamic Punch, we use Tera Fairy because we don't need more damage and the sucker punch resistance is nice, another very nice utility Golurk gives that mimikyu or weakness policy basculegion, the other webs spinblockers don't have is stealth rock, which are very powerful and often hard to fit on Webs, overall a very important member of the team that can do things no matter the matchup

it is however walled by hippo, quagsire, weezing and other physical walls which is why next we should add a mon that can come on those for free, abuse them and also help against our list of main threats to webs which is why for the 3rd mon i chose

:SV/oricorio-pom-pom:
while it doesn't benefit much from the webs other than getting away with a low speed investment, it's very good at answering problematic mons like zapdos-g thanks to it's typing and can tear through fatter teams and offensive teams not expecting the very aggressive spread, it not relying on webs is also a good thing as it means it can still do things if webs is gone, tera fighting revelation dance is a very good use of your tera as it allows you to break through cyclizard which often uses special attackers as entry point to spin, to hit umbreon and defensive goodra-h, very specially bulky mons that could end a sweep if you don't finish them before they use toxic or dragon tail and, most importantly, can bait and destroy bisharp if necessary, but oricorio will of course can't be our only answer to it as it is reliant on Tera, another mon that can abuse oricorio is Gardevoir, which can Trace Dancer to copy your Quiver Dance and become very threatening and unstoppable without saccing a mon, the speed EVs are there to outspeed zapdos-g at +2 and the rest is put in special attack and bulk but different EVs and moves (air slash, taunt...) can be used, oricorio is very versatile in it's sets.

now if we look at our list of threat to answer, everything has a consistent answer except bisharp, another thing that would be good is a mon punishing Defog, which is why our 4rth member is

:SV/bisharp:
Bisharp is a wonderful webs abuser and funnily enough, with low kick it probably is the most consistent answer to opposing bisharp, it may tera to ghost or fairy but that makes it vulnerable to iron head or sucker punch while you still resist his hits, tera flying and fire are a bit harder to answer as you will probably faint before the opponent but the opposing bisharp will be low on health and be revenge killeable by things like golurk or even ribombee, a pretty good trade considering the opponent has to spend it's tera, the spread is very fast, which is unusual for bisharp but thanks to webs it can outspeed opponents and 240 speed lets you outspeed maushold, ensuring that it doesn't encore you into sucker punch or swords dance, just make sure to click iron head against it and not low kick or you may be dissapointed by your damage, it has lots of different viable teras, Fire and Ghost are probably the best, Fire for mons like Weezing and Talonflame, to make them into setup fodder and Ghost for the fighting immunity, rapid spin immunity and generally good defensive profile, i chose Fire for the aforementioned defogger matchup as Bisharp may sometimes want to risk to switch in on them to take the atk boost from defog thanks to defiant, tera to fire and sweep, but such a play should be done moderately, you hava a good chance of just getting will-o-wisp'd on the swith, even if getting an atk boost and immediately threaten it back is very cool. one drawback of this set however is that because of tera'd weezing's weight and steel resistance, your only way to significantly damage it is with sucker punch, an issue it also has with slowbro, which can force you to either setup a lot to do significant damage with iron head or guess what the opponent is going to do and waste pps, overall a core piece of webs team that combines both utility and power

now that all of the main threats to webs all have a solid answer it's time to look at what other mons are problematic for us, our physical attackers have trouble breaking physical walls like Hippowdon and Weezing which is why it would be nice to have a phisical attacker so powerful it could pierce right through them, which is where our 5th mon comes in

:SV/gallade:
my favorite webs abuser, with it's high attack and access to sharpness it shreds through everything, and next to nothing survive it's hits after a swords dance, other than psychic types that aren't slowbro, that resist both of his stabs and for armarouge, leaf blade too, the coverage we choose to run to hit hippowdon which is a bigger threat than psychic types that aren't too problematic with Bisharp, Oricorio and our last slot all being solid answers to them, it's underwhelming 80 speed is fixed by webs, we run adamant to more consistently OHKO hippo at +2 and because the only thing +speed gives us is a speed tie with Gardevoir, Lum Berry is chosen because Gallade already hits ridiculously hard and doesn't need a boost, but likes to avoid a sweep-ending burn or para, Tera steel is chosen for it's excellent defensive synergy with gallade's base type and for the very useful Fairy, Psychich and Flying resistances, letting you bait and beat Zapdos-G if you have more than 57% health, which can be useful in a pinch of if it's the opponent's only speed control and only mon stopping a sweep, and thanks to Gallade's very respecteable special bulk, he can tank hits from gardevoir surprisingly well after a tera, only taking 24-28% from Moonblast, letting you shrug off it's hits, take it down in one hit if you're at +2 and continue your sweep, it's also one of the best physical attacker at threatening weezing and the aforementioned Hippowdon which takes a whopping 48.5 - 57.1% from leaf blade, making it one of the rare physical attacker that can straight up one shot it after a swords dance (+2 252+ Atk Sharpness Gallade Leaf Blade vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hippowdon: 404-476 (96.1 - 113.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock), it also menaces heavily rarer physical walls like Forretress, Quagsire, Amoonguss and Gastrodon which is not something most physical attackers can do and makes the stall matchup viable, an excellent choice for breaking walls and punishing teams with limited speed control

Our team is already looking good but we still need a bit more special firepower and a more reliable Gardevoir answer, which is why our final mon is

:SV/armarouge:
yet another very threatening setup sweeper solely limited by it's speed, we will run the Timid nature despite being on webs because cyclizard outspeeds modest nature by a single point and we don't want to give it the opportunity to spin or revenge kill with knock, Armarouge can quickly pierce huge holes in the opponent's team if it doesn't have a goodra-h, a cyclizard or an Umbreon and can still be pretty good against those, a Goodra-H who used Draco Meteor is wonderful setup fodder, Umbreon gives free entry to Bisharp, Cyclizard takes huge damage from Psyshock, and Armarouge even has a very good chance to one shot it from full after a calm mind that becomes guaranteed after rocks (+1 252 SpA Armarouge Psyshock vs. 104 HP / 0 Def Cyclizar: 271-319 (88.2 - 103.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock), Tera Ghost is useful in a pinch to protect from a cyclizard rapid spin and also to wall Chansey, Armarouge's good type, great stats, Weak Armor ability and possibility to setup can make it a very threatening and hard to answer mon that can spiral out of control quickly, it also resist gardevoir's STABs which is pretty good, overall simply a good and reliable mon, that we don't really pick for it's ability to do something unique but for it's ability to do it's straightforward role of special attacker that puts a lot of pressure and breaker uniquely well

thank you for reading through my more or less confusing blocks of text, don't hesitate to leave any questions or advice and have a good day :)

Webs is a powerful team composition in RU given how great the spinblockers and deterrents are, Armarouge especially. While this team has a lot of potential to blow through foes with ease, I'd consider changing two sets in particular to hit benchmarks that you mentioned in your main post are quite relevant.

:golurk:
Golurk @ Colbur Berry
Ability: No Guard
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 Atk / 128 Def / 128 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Poltergeist
- Earthquake
- Dynamic Punch
- Stealth Rock

I think you are right in wanting to avoid the OHKO after rocks to Bisharp, given how easy it can be for it to reverse sweep you after it uses Webs to proc Defiant. While the spread you have is able to take it on 50% of the time, I gave it more bulk to ensure it wins this interaction always; this Speed investment is enough to still creep the relevant mons like Wo-Chien and bulky Bisharp prior to webs and Modest Basculegion-F and Adamant Feraligatr after webs. I'm a big fan of Golurk in general and think it fits this team comp nicely here.

:oricorio-pom-pom:
Oricorio-Pom-Pom @ Kee Berry
Ability: Dancer
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Quiver Dance
- Roost
- Taunt

Similar to the advice listed here, I think the set you're using now is a bit too greedy with Hurricane not hitting any particular damage benchmarks while risking a miss that can prevent a sweep. Since you have Golurk to spinblock, Armarouge to deter Knock Off, and webs to pressure teams with Cyclizar removal, you can really capitalize on Rapid Spin attempts with this set in particular.

Really cool team from somebody who I know loves spamming Webs (to great effect generally).
