I decided I would make a hail team. It has had many wins, with few losses. The main idea of the team is to stall for a while with Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock and StallRein, and then finish off with a Jynx clean-up sweep.
Suggestions/Comments are needed!
Abomasnow @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 Atk/228 Spd/30 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Wood Hammer
- Blizzard
- Earthquake
- Focus Punch
ScarfSnow. Put over the Mixed Attacking Yeti because I need more speed. EQ for Heatran switch-ins, Focus Punch for T-Tar, Weavile, etc.
Mamoswine @ Life Orb

EVs: 64 HP/252 Atk/192 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

Mamoswine is replacing Jynx because I needed more power while still being able to beat ScarfChomps and Tyranitars. I use Blizzard because it deals nice damage to Weezing, Tangrowth, and Skarmory while still being 100% Accurate in the hail.

The MixNape counter. It also beats Gyarados without Earthquake (even if they are rare) HP Electric stops Gyarados, and other flying types. Toxic Spikes is great for the team as Stallrein gets so much more useful, being able to phase and stall. Rapid Spin gets rid of my dreadful Stealth Rock weakness. Surf for STAB.
Walrein @ Leftovers
Ability: Ice Body
EVs: 220 HP/252 Def/36 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Surf/Blizzard
- Roar
- Protect
StallRein. The 32 Turn staller. Works great when Toxic Spikes are up. Roar for phazing, Sub and Protect just to annoy the opponent while Toxic whittles away at their health. I'm considering Blizzard over Surf just so I can damage Dragon switch-ins. But Surf has had it's uses as well.
Heatran @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 54 HP/204 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
- Explosion
Heatran saves me from a horrid fire weakness, and also packs a powerful punch. When he grabs a Flash Fire boost, Fire Blast becomes superbly strong, damaging anything that comes in. Choice Specs increases the power even more. Fire/Dragon/Ground goes unresisted which is nice. Explosion to go out in a bang.
Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
This team seemed to have had some trouble with Heracross. So I added the number 1 counter for him. Gliscor also provides some physical attacks which I need. Stealth Rock helps more with Walrein's phazing. EQ and Aerial Ace for STAB. Roost is standard for healing.
