XY RU RMT: Here to annoy the living poo out of you!

Here's a team I worked on just from reading other people's teams and watching other people battle to see what works and what doesn't. I'm up to #56 in the ladder so the team has been doing well. I just feel I can replace certain mons or maybe change up the movesets a bit. This team is a regen team, so you know people love facing it.

Lopunny @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Return
- Power-Up Punch
- Substitute
- Drain Punch

Saw this set being used by another forumer, forget the name but it works very, very well. Everyone is expecting a fakeout by me and I can easily get a sub in along with a power up punch. After that usually it depends on what my opponent has but it can sweep teams after 1 PU punch. STAB return is obviously great. I'd be open to switching it out for another mon though.

Claydol @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Toxic

My stealth rocker and rapid spinner. Don't know how I feel about it but it does take some good hits, doesn't really do anything else though. I saw the viability rankings and saw it is one of the worst mons of the tier. Looking at maybe Hitmolee here as a spinner and just ditching the rocks altogether? This guy is just kind of there

Audino @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Encore
- Knock Off

Part 1 of 4. This bugger is a poor mans Chansey/Blissey. It takes hit after hit after hit. Passes wishes GREAt and serves as my cleric in which it does an excellent job. Knock off is to remove any help another mon has. Basically need to protect this guy at all costs, however does take a bunch to get it down.

Slowking @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Dragon Tail
- Fire Blast

Part 2 of 4 right here. Not too sure about the moveset. But really I don't think there is a need for Slack Off because of regen and my two wish passers. Takes special hits like nothing and can dish it out a bit as well. If anyone has any ideas for this moveset I'd love to hear it. Dragon Tail is there in case I have rocks in or need to clear a mon with some stat boosts

Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
- Spore
- Clear Smog
- Giga Drain
- Foul Play

Yup part 3 right here. My sleep inducer/stat clearer. Another guy who can take a hit and annoy the heck out of you. Clear Smog has saved my butt so many times. I'm guessing people expect sludge bomb on this guy instead so maybe I shouldn't be so surprised. Giga Drain is there for some extra breathing room in case I take a few hits.

Alomomola @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Toxic
- Scald
- Wish
- Protect

Part 4. The most annoying mon out there. Takes the physical hits like nothing, easily takes Life Orb Hitmolee. Wittles down physical attackers with Rocky Helmet and proceeds to either stay in to take its own wish or just wish pass it to another needy pokemon. Scald is there for the ever fortunate burn. Toxic in case I need to wittle away some mons.

Any suggestions would be great guys! I'm really looking to maybe replace Mega Lopunny and def looking to replace Claydoll

Hey there, really annoying team you have xD

Regarding Claydol, definitely replace it. It looks really good, but in reality its typing leaves it with too many weaknesses and its often dead weight. Defog Gligar is a suitable replacement if you want hazard removal, otherwise you can use Stealth Rock. It has reliable recovery in Roost and fewer exploitable weaknesses.

Either way, IMO you'll want to swap out Lopunny. While I wouldn't normally suggest this change because Lopunny is super good, your team is basically Regen stall, and Lopunny doesn't offer much in that regard (though keep in mind you can probably slap Lopunny on any team and still make it good).

You could maybe use Bronzong over Lopunny to provide Rocks (Defog Gligar), as having a Steel-type that can take stuff like Exploud's Boomburst and Dragalge Dracos is necessary. RU has wallbreakers galore atm so that gives stall potential problems.

Lastly, you'll want a slightly modified Alomomola spread. 104 HP / 252 Def / 156 SpD Bold gives up very little physical for notably more Special bulk.

Anyway, I would like to end by saying I don't really build stall teams, so my changes may not be optimal (besides Claydol). In any case, good luck

Hello! I'm not the best, so just think a little about my suggestions.

Lemonade helped with most, but IMO dragon tail on a special sweeper isn't that good. You have a good reason, but it won't hit as hard as his other moves. I suggest something like future sight, but switches may ruin THAT possibility. whirlpool could do with you're whittling away thing. Plus it traps. :) Good luck!

First off the team is up to 26 right now in the ladder. Has made some enemies along the way. I fellow by the name of Shirpedo called me a **tard, told me to go to hell like Michael Brown, and called me a ***ger. I guess Pokemon is some real serious stuff to people, who knew?!

Anyways I decided to scrape stealth rocking and I ditched Amoongus for the following

Tangrowth @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 236 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def / 16 SpD
Lax Nature
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip
- Sleep Powder
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Golbat @ Eviolite
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Bold Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Taunt
- Poison Fang

Tangrowth just adds way more annoyance to the mix with leech seed + rocky helmet on physical attackers. It can also actually go on the offensive unlike Amoon which actually makes it usefull. Good counter to Slowking since most sets run Psyshock.

Golbat is my defogger and is another guy who takes hits. Poison Fang just annoys the opponent even more!
