My new team made for shoddy and D/P. I need suggestions though.
Gengar @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature
- Hypnosis
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Energy Ball
Comments - Basically meant to use hypnosis. Energy ball is to kill Swampert or other water types with the ability to resist electric. Focus Sash also helps you live many attacks that will ohko you then come back and kill them; like Salamence without Dragon Dance that have sash, but if they do have Dragon Dance they would have wasted there time because I have sash to protect from the ohko.
Damage Calculations-
Shadow Ball to a Minimum SDef/Max Hp Jirachi = About 1/3 to 4/9 HP
Sahdow Ball to a 6 HP/Min SDef Salamence = About 1/2 to 3/5 HP
Dragon Claw (On Salamence attacking Gengar) Max Atk = About 19/20
Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spd
Bold nature
- Thunderbolt
- Heat Wave
- Roost
- Roar
Comments - Basically to wall scizors and other steel types like Magnazone that would come in and kill my other pokemon after learning the lesson of the fact that they have Magnazone. And on switch ins this can take Fighting type moves and ground type moves too. And also to get rid of Salamences, Gyrados's and other troubling pokemon with Dragon Dance by using roar. Heatwave is for the steel, bug and grass types that cause harm like scizor. The major Switch in is Blissey; it walls Zapdos and most pokemon on my team thats where you switch in Scizor and use Sword Dance predicting the switch for blissey to take the Super Power/ Bullet Punch.
Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SDef
Calm nature
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled
- Aromatherapy
Comments - Basically the average Blissey from emerald. Except the fact it walls anything Zapdos can't due to the fact it has no SDef Evs. Also it cures all the statuses problems there are with Aromatherapy. Thunder
wave is for the paralazation halfing the foes speed and then switching in or seismic tossing them if my Blisseys Hp gets to low then Softboil. Or if I need to switch, switch to Zapdos or Gengar predicting there gonna use Earthquake or a fighting type move. Also meant to wall Heat Waves from Zapdos and other pokemon with Heat wave or Fire type moves that kill Lucario/ Scizor if Heatrans already dead. Also meant to counter the common Latias of today
Damange Calculations -
Specs Timid Max SAtk Latias Draco Meteor to Calm/6evs SDef Blissey = 33-40%
Lucario @ Life orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/6 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Extremespeed
Comments - Lucario is basically my main sweeper next to Scizor. Except for the fact Lucario has more weakness. I will probably have Life orb due to the fact most people at the moment like to get stealth rock up right away and most people have the rule "No more than 1 Sash." The down fall of having 2 Life orbs is the hp loss and the amount of Hp used by just using 1 Attack. Odd HP for the extra attack off of life orb. Also Lucario is used for killing Blissey: Predict the switch and use Swords Dance and get a free ko on the next pokemon after sword dance will probably Ohko most anything that comes Lucarios way. If they switch to Magnazone you left usless predicting the Scarf on Magnazones. Then come in and revenge kill with Heatran, but if they switch to a Blissey switch to Scizor and ohko them with Super Power. SuperPower is abll to ohko Switch in Magnazone even though this takes a bit of prediction.
Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 174 HP/252 Atk/84 Def
Adamant nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Quick Attack
- Superpower
Comments - If Lucario didn't finish them off then Scizor can come in and revenge kill or set-up with Swords Dance. If you get the right switch you can get at least 1 Swords Dance and kill the next pokemon the send out; Quick attack is meant for water types such as Vaporeon, Suicune and other pokemon. And Super Power will Ohko Blissey, Snorlax, Heatran (on the switch) unlike Brick Break which will 2Hko all these pokemon I have listed. Biggest threat is probably Magnazone and Cresselia because they wall Scizor most of the time, but if they send out Cresselia then I can just switch to Blissey and wall the Calm Minds that Cresslia usually has. Magnazone has magnet pull so you cannot switch, and will most likely Ohko you with Hidden Power fire losing one of the mvp of the team. Then I can come and revenge kill it with Heatran if Heatrans still alive. If they send out Swampert use Superpower and possibly ohko a unprepared Swampert.
Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earth Power
- Dark Pulse
Comments - Meant to take any fire attacks that come my way when Blissey won't defend enough. If they switch in a pokemon I know will most likely have earthquake that resists the move I used on scarf I'll switch to Gengar or Zapdos because of there ability to take Ground type moves. Dark Pulse is for threats like Gengar and Cresslia and more. Also to take the HP fire from Magnazones after Magnazone kills my pokemon before. After Magnazone has Basically Stabed through the heart of my team you come in with Heatran predicting he had a Scarf and switch, it might take a bit of prediction, but you can most likely 2hko or 3hko the next pokemon the send in. With the switch to swampert Switch to Scizor and Use Super Power to weaken Swampert. Then proced with switching to ko Swampert with the next pokemon.
