Hello everyone, I've recently started to enjoy using Mega Sableye and wanted to build a team around him and Gothitelle. This is my first RMT so any advice would be appreciated.
Sableye Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 SpAtk
Nature: Bold
-Will-o-Wisp
-Recover
-Shadow Ball
-Calm Mind
The idea here with this sableye is that if my opponent leads off with a physical attacker then I can burn them before mega evolving and then recover. If a hazard setter or statuser is out then I evolve right away to magic bounce them away and either burn them or set up calm minds. Shadow Ball is used to hit things that resist dark attacks. Since I am using Calm Mind, Bold is his nature so I can maximize my defense.
Gothitelle @ Choice Specs
Ability: Shadow Tag
Evs: 248 Hp/252 SpAtk/8 SpDef
Nature: Modest
-Psyshock
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Fire
-Energy Ball
Gothitelle is here to trap pokemon like Ferrothorn and Skarmory or anything she can switch in on and quickly kill them to make things easier for the rest of my team. I prefer using energy ball instead of trick to hit the occasional pokemon like Quagsire and Swampert who are immune to thunderbolt.
Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Evs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 Atk
Nature: Impish
-Stealth Rock
-Slack Off
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
Hippowdon is my stealth rocker and physical wall. I originally wanted to use Landorus-T but I decided instead to use Hippowdon since he can take physical hits very well and get sand up so my Excadrill can run sand rush. Rock Slide to hit Talonflame and Slack Off to recover Hp.
Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 SpDef
Nature: Adamant
-Eartquake
-Rock Slide
-iron Head
-Swords Dance
With the sand up Excadrill becomes very fast and can outspeed many pokemon and is my primary answer to fairy types. Life Orb is used to make him hit even harder, and if he can use a swords dance then many pokemon will get 2-hit ko.
Empoleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Evs: 248 HP/252 SpDef/8 Def
Nature: Calm
-Scald
-knock Off
-Defog
-Toxic
Empoleon is my bulky defogger that way Excadrill can use swords dance. Originally I considered using Latias or Latios as my defogger but then my team was really weak to fairy types, so I figured Empoleon would be good to use as he can take many special attacks. Toxic and Knock Off are used on predicted switches to cripple several threats.
Kyurem-B @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Terravolt
EVs: 252 Atk/32 SpAtk/224 Spe
Nature: Naughty
-Terravolt
-Ice Beam
-Dragon Claw
-Outrage
Kyurem-B is my revenge killer on a choice scarf to outspeed and kill or severly damage many walls. With this set Azumarill and physically defensive ground types are easily dealt with. Dragon Claw is used early on so I don't have to lock myself into Outrage and pokemon like Chansey get 2-hit ko.
There is my team, I put alot of thought into this and any advice or feedback would be nice to help me iron out any flaws with this team.
