Hello!
This is my first RMT, and I hope that you can help me with it. Thanks:)!

250px-034Nidoking.png

Nidoking (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd
Modest Nature
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Sludge Wave
- Flamethrower

Standard Scarf Nidoking. Used to punch holes in several different teams. Almost perfect type coverage.

Drapion @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 200 Spd / 4 HP / 252 Atk / 52 Def
Adamant Nature
- Poison Jab
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Brick Break

Somewhat bulky Attacker Drapion. Enough speed to outspeed half speed invested 100's Max Speed Bisharp. Knock Off instead of Crunch for more survivability. Brick Break for stuff like Bisharp, TTar, Balloon-Tran.

Golbat_by_Xous54.png

Golbat (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Super Fang
- Taunt
- Roost
- Defog

Probably the Ace of this team. Extremely high Defence, a long with HP investment makes this thing a really tough wall to break. Super Fang and Infiltrator to go through things that think they can get set up, coupled with taunt makes it an annoyance. Roost to get HP back from hard hitting special attackers such as Heatran. Walls Avalugg to a sense, plays around with other Bulky Offense users like Mew and Cress.

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Petal Blizzard
- Sleep Powder
- Synthesis
- Earthquake

Bulky Offense. Walls just about everything in the Mono/OU type deal. Sleep Powder and Synthesis to get rid of walls that would maybe stop this set, such as Goodra, Gliscor (potentially on first turn), Bulk Zard X.

Weezing.png

Weezing @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76 SAtk
Modest Nature
- Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp
- Sludge Wave
- Hidden Power [Rock]

Alright, I know what you're thinking. HP Rock? On a Weezing? Por que?
Well, for one simple reason. Fire types. Fire mono's like to play with poison type teams like a cat with yarn. Weezing is here to stop that.

+2 252 Atk Talonflame Brave Bird vs. 252 HP / 180 Def Weezing: 210-247 (62.8 - 73.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
+2 252 Atk Talonflame Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 252 HP / 180 Def Weezing: 193-228 (57.7 - 68.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

76+ SpA Weezing Hidden Power Rock vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Talonflame: 248-292 (83.2 - 97.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 180 Def Weezing: 187-222 (55.9 - 66.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
252 Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Dragon Claw vs. 252 HP / 180 Def Weezing: 126-148 (37.7 - 44.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Black Sludge recovery

76+ SpA Weezing Hidden Power Rock vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Mega Charizard X: 104-124 (34.8 - 41.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Even if it doesn't OHKO with HP Rock, or i have rocks up, they will die to something.

Nidoqueen (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SpD / 4 SAtk / 252 HP
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Poison Jab

Suicide Lead. Basically just needs to get up Stealth Rocks and take one incoming hit. It can also deal heavy damage to whatever is in, provided it gets up SR first.

Tell me what you think. Thanks :D!

I'd give King Life Orb and Queen Leftovers. Nidoking is a really strong pokemon (as far as poison types go) and he would be better off getting a boost in power and the ability to use his good coverage. Specs would be another option to make him a good wallbreaker. Life Orb is a weird choice for a lead in my opinion, leftovers will let Nidoqueen survive and maybe come in and set up rocks again later in the match. Golbat definitely needs another attacking move, Brave Bird is probably your best choice. If you don't want to lose one of your support moves I'd say it would be worth replacing super fang, it's really a gimmicky move that won't help you too often.
Hope some of this helps.

Hi!
I really like your team choices, although I'm a little worried about your choice to make it a mono-poison team. As I'm sure you know, poison is among the worst offensive types (which is why you have lots of coverage), and it's not anything special defensively either. Psychic, Fire, Ground, and bulky Steel-types like Ferrothorn will be able to cripple and sweep your team with relative ease.

For my first major critique, I'm going to focus on Golbat.
Although bulky, your Golbat really has no reliable attacking move. Ghosts are immune to Super Fang, popular Poison types are immune to Toxic if you choose to use that, and Golbat will take serious damage if your opponent predicts a Roost and uses Earthquake. Weezing should really be doing most of your stalling, so I would suggest using Crobat instead.

Crobat @ Black Sludge
Jolly, 252 Spe/252 SpD/4Atk
Inner Focus
-Taunt
-Brave Bird
-Roost
-Super Fang

This set will allow you to laugh in the face of things like Paraflinch Togekiss. Taunt can be used to shut down any status inducers or setup Pokémon, namely Ferrothorn. This could even be used as a lead over Nidiqueen, because stopping your opponents from setting up Hazards can be huge, especially if you would need Crobat later.

The second thing I would recommend for your team is a more defensive, non-suicide-lead Nidoqueen.

Nidoqueen @ Black Sludge
Relaxed, 252 HP/252 Def/4 SpD
Sheer Force
-Stealth Rock
-Toxic Spikes
-Fire Blast
-Roar

This set will allow Nidoqueen to wall opponents and force them out to poison them with Toxic Spikes. Fire Blast is simply for coverage, because Steel types are common switch-ins. This set can really be used in a few different ways, but the most important things are the hazards.

Additionally, you could replace one of the Pokémon you feel doesn't work well with your team with Gengar, which could act as a spinblocker, but that's up to you.

Also, this is my first team analysis, so don't be too harsh!

I appreciate your guys' input. I have made changes as such. Nidoking now has a life orb, i swapped Golbat for Crobat, and changed the Jihad-Queen. The reason i chose Poison as a monotype is i'm just trying to get better at it. Mono is an incredibly fun Meta, and i wanted to try something... unique. Thanks though :D

Hello,

Unfortunately I'm going to have to lock this thread for not having 3 or more lines of descriptions. Try and expand on what roles each Pokemon plays on your team, and why you chose that specific moveset or ev spread.

Feel free to pm me your updated descriptions and I will unlock this thread for you.
