VGC RMT My first VCG Team

Hello there, aceripstick here and this is my first team i am making I don't have very much experience with competitive battling but i thought that i would give it a try after playing the games since red and blue. I've used it in pokemon showdown and won 5 battles in a row with it and then proceded to loose 5 in a row. Over all though i win about 50% of my battles with it. This is my first team i am making myself so i don't expect it to be very good but if you would like to help me out please give me suggestions instead of telling me what is wrong with my team. thanks!

Kangaskhan (F) @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
Happiness: 0
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Power-Up Punch
- Double-Edge
- Frustration
Pretty much the basic powerhouse mega kangaskhan. The only thing too out of the ordinery about it is the move frustration. i chose frustration over return because most smeargals that might copy kangas would probably have maxed happiness. In battle I will usually mega and fake out first thing (unless theres a ghost type because of scrappy), than power up punch someone and than move on to frustration/double-edge until he faints or is switched out.

Azumarill (F) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Protect
- Play Rough
- Belly Drum
Azumarill is a really fun pokemon to play when I can manage to set up the belly drum. Usually i will send her out with kangas and try to belly drum first turn (thus the berry), protect next and then use the other moves until she faints or is KO'ed.

rotom-wash.gif

Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 52 HP / 252 SpA / 204 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Trick
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
Rotom-wash is an awesome, fast special attacking pokemon and one of my favorites in general. Most people know how these moves work such as the trick for crippling the set up/ support pokemons. He works well with most of my other pokemon (not mamoswine really) but in my opinion he is one of my best mons.

aegislash.gif

Aegislash @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- King's Shield
- Shadow Ball
- Flash Cannon
- Sacred Sword
Pretty much the avarage slow, hard hitting aegislash. he usually work well against most heavy hitters and kings sheild is awesome! I mainly put him on the team because he's a really powerful pokemon thats one of my personal favorites but he seems to work pretty well.

663_-_talonflame.gif

Talonflame (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Tailwind
My team needed both a flying, and fire type so talonflames fit well there. I might need to put some of the speed EVs into the defense/spdef because he gets one shotted a load.

mamoswine-gif.9462

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 244 Atk / 12 SpA / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Freeze-Dry
Mamoswine seemed to fill a lot of gaps in my team without ground or ice type moves and freeze-dry works very well with him. He is the team member i am the least sure about and think that a garchomp might work well here but I havent tried that yet.

Yes, all of these are fairly common VGC pokemon but for the first team i have made i am pretty happy with it but i would really appriciate any suggestions that would make my team better thank you very much and any feedback. happy battling!
