Hi, guys, after my Gravity trial for a first team in Gen V, I'm creating my first team in Gen VI. I really don't know yet what to name it, but I'll come up with something as soon as I find its identity.
I've battled something with it around places, and against friends, but I really don't see how I can improve it, despite knowing it needs improving.
I don't have pokébank pokémon, so it's only XY.
Kamiya Kaoru (F) Aegislash @ Leftovers
Adamant - Stance Change
EV spread: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def - 0 IV Spe
Iron Head
Swords Dance
Shadow Sneak
King's Shield
Well, basic setting for an offensive Aegis. It's being a huge factor for me in battles. S-Dance + King's Shield is really nice, and after three dances, iron head OHKOs most things. Shadow Sneak is there for a nice priority damage against the likes of Gengar and other Aegislashes, and the 0 ivs in speed guarantees that, unless they also have it, I'll get hit by a shadow sneak in shield form, and then I'll attack my opponent's Aegis in their sword form. It happened at least three times, and it was quite cool.
L.Fitzgerald @ Life Orb
Adamant - Gale Wings
EV spread: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Flame Charge
Roost
Swords Dance
Brave Bird
This bird is just awesome. It's not just another route one bird. Gale Wings really do wonders, and with Life Orb, the priority damage of Brave Bird is really strong, more so after a swords. Roost is there for survivability. Flame Charge helps me when priority is not that important, and also raises my speed, which helps a lot in priority fights. It's a nice thing to force switches. I don't know if my opponents don't invest or so, but I'm having some OHKOs in many different mons with the set.
Marlona @ Choice Band
Jolly - Rough Skin
Ev Spread: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Fire Fang
E-Quake
Outrage
Dual Chop
Physical sweeper, generally the lead Pokémon in 3x3 battles, Fire Fang for ice, the rest is basically set. I've had some wins with Outrage only in 3v3. I opted per Fire Fang instead of Aqua Tail, because my main problem is Ice type. Dual Chop is there to brake sash and sturdy, e-quake for STAB powerful attack, mainly against Heatrans, that have already started to appear in battle spot.
Jana @ Gardevoirite
Timid - Trace
EV spread: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Focus Blast
Taunt
Calm Mind
Moonblast
Weak link here. I use it mainly for dragon coverage and as a special sweeper. Not quite happy with her yet, but don't know what to put in her place. Focus Blast for dark type and so on. Moonblast as main STAB attack. Taunt helps to force switches and also avoids other people to set up things, also crippling them after hazards are up.
Brastemp @ Zap Plate
Modest - Levitate
Ev spread: 228 HP / 60 SpA / 220 Spe
WoW
T-Bolt
Volt Switch
Hydro Pump
I used the EV spread of Bulky attacker set in the topic. As I don't have another Leftovers, Zap Plate gives Volt Switch a nice boost, besides giving T-Bolt a decent power. Hydro Pump is there because I have no other water STAB. My first option was to have Pain Split instead but I don't have access to it, so I opted to use T-Bolt. Volt Switch is quite nice to give momentum. WoW is there to cripple things that could give me too much of a headache. It's really nice when people's sweepers get burned.
Spiky @ Focus Sash
Relaxed - Iron barbs
Ev spread: 252 HP / 252 SpD 4 Def - O IV Spe
Spikes
Stealth Rock
Gyro Ball
Leech Seed
Annoying standard thing. Despite nerf in hazards, now that Defog erases them, I'm still not facing many defoggers, since they also have to remove their hazards. I'm facing many more spinners, as usual, and Rotom-W is there for them. Rotom W is also strong against things that could damage Spiky, and switching Gardevoir in against Heatran have already given me some nice boosts after copying Flash Fire. Leech Seed forces some switches, which gives me time to set up more hazards. Gyro Ball, with minimum speed, is really strong against many sweepers.
So, what's up? What can I do to improve it?
Thanks a lot for your attention.
