-INTRODUCTION
--Something you're going to notice is I have a lot of Choiced Pokémon - 4 to be exact - and so let me explain my "theory" on that. Most say that it's a bad idea to run that many Choiced Pokémon because you'll have to switch frequently due to being locked into a move. But would you not agree that when you switch a Pokémon in - Choiced or not - that they switch in something to counter your Pokémon so you'll have to switch anyway? So what's the harm in having that attack on the switch do even more damage? Or to even have your own Pokémon outspeed and KO the counter? Well anyway I've rambled enough so here's the team:

tyranitar.png

Tyranitar @ Lum Berry
Sassy - Sandstream
252 Hit Points - 36 Attack - 32 Defense - 184 Special Defense [3 SPEED IV]
Substitute
Fire Punch
Crunch
Stealth Rock

Anti-Lead T-Tar. Designed to take out common leads like Bronzong, Gengar, Azelf, Roserade, and Yanmega.

HP EVs hit 404 (101 Subs) and SPDEF EVs hit 310 Special Defense which with Sandstorm lets him survive Gengar’s Focus Blast most of the time and KO it back with Crunch. The Speed (0 EVs and 3 IVs) makes Bronzong’s Gyro Ball a 5HKO with minimum Attack investment and only 4HKO with maximum attack.

Crunch always OHKOs Gengar and Azelf. Fire Punch will OHKO Roserade 66% and will kill Bronzong before he kills you, along with severly hurting Scizor.

Substitute > Taunt because Tyranitar will be so slow that he can’t outspeed much to make Taunt effective while he can Substitute while they try to status/switch to get free scouting. Stealth Rock > Thunder because I needed Stealth Rock support and I can deal with Gyarados otherwise.

starmie.png

Starme @ Choice Specs
Timid
Natural Cure
4 Hit Points - 252 Special Attack - 252 Speed
Surf
Thunderbolt
Trick
Hidden Power - Fire

Starmie has respectable Special Attack and quite high Speed making it a great Specs recipient when combined with its movepool. Surf 2HKO’s Tyranitar while Thunderbolt gives coverage on Waters. Hidden Power – Fire destroys Scizor and Forrtress - whom never seem to expect it. Trick is a nice little twist Starmie can do now, this allows me to screw around with Walls and set up pokemon. Timid to give it a nice speed boost to help outspeed opposing pokemon. Most don't expect Specs so they get hit quite hard not expecting the offensive approach.

salamence.png

Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Naughty - Intimidate
120 Attack - 252 Special Attack - 136 Speed
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Outrage
Earthquake

Salamence already has powerful Attack and Special Attack that when combined with the speed boost given by Scarf makes him one of the most dangerous pokemon to date. Draco Meteor and Outrage to hit powerful STAB on both sides of the spectrum. Fire Blast hits Grass and Steels like Scizor, Skarmory, Celebi while Earthquake covers Rocks and Fire types (especially Heatran which this things destroys).

scizor.png

Scizor @ Choice Band
Adamant - Technician
252 Hit Points - 252 Attack - 4 Defense
U-Turn
Pursuit
Bullet Punch
Superpower

Choice Band makes it so that Swords Dance isn't needed to pump up the attacks (and waste a turn at that). Pursuit kills Psychic and Ghost trying to switch out, while Bullet Punch hits anything that doesn't resist it hard. U-Turn is for scouting out the opponents move. Superpower nails Heatran and other Steels comming in on the switch to KO them and therefor eliminate them as a threat. The EV's allow him to take hits better, 252 Hit Points allows him to take the hits; while 252 Attack allows him to hit hard. 4 Defense is really just filler but still go toward making him bulky. Speed isn't implied into the EV's because it's not the purpose of the set, Bullet Punch doesn't care how fast (or slow) I am while Pursuit is hitting things that are trying to run away. So making him more bulky is much more important than making him faster.

vaporeon.png

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold - Water Absorb
188 Hit Points - 252 Defense - 68 Special Attack
Wish
Surf
Hidden Power - Electric
Ice Beam

Vaporeon comes in as a Wish Passer to help heal my pokemon up. With high HP and SPDEF and an okay SPATK makes it quite a threat to many pokemon. Surf and Ice Beam hit with STAB and to hit Grass and Dragons. Hidden Power – Electric is to hit Gyarados and give SOME coverage against other Waters.

mamoswine.png

Mamoswine @ Choice Scarf
Jolly - Snow Cloak
252 Attack - 252 Speed - 4 Hit Points
Ice Shard
Earthquake
SuperPower
Stone Edge

A new set I'm trying out with Mamo, hitting 426 Speed with Scarf it allows him to outspeed many of the things that would previously just come in and revenge kill him while he can do the same back now (Notable: Lucario, Heatran and Infernape). Although he's got Speed now, Ice Shard still over Ice Fang so that he can outspeed other Scarf'd users (like Gengar) and still nail them along with DD's (like Salamence) to ensure you still get the revenge kill. Earthquake is his most powerful STAB and is a must while Stone Edge and SuperPower provide the best possible coverage for him. This has been so successful it's not even funny.

-CONCLUSION
--So to wrap this up, yes having that many Pokémon with choice items can be a bad thing, but also a good thing. I haven't tested this much in the Platinum enviorment so changes are definately needed to adapt.

Thanks,
-Matt

I don't think all the choice items are a good idea. You will be forced to switch rather than possibly have the option of staying in and attacking with a different move that might still be useful against whatever counter is sent in. And since you are likely going to be forced to switch now, an opponent who catches on could easily outpredict you with your switches and swiftly annihilate whatever you have left. Your strategy relies on them switching to a counter whenever you switch in yours, which isn't going to happen all the time, and you're not always going to have a good oppurtunity to switch in easily either, without taking damage or status, which the nature of your team seems to need to be able to do so.
All of that also means your team could be overly offensive, which isn't always bad, but in conjunction with so many choice items it seems that way.

Having Vaporeon alone as a defensive buffer for the other 5 (maybe Tyranitar doesn't count) seems to to be putting too much stress on it as well, and it doesn't have Protect to ensure Wish's success either if it needs to heal itself.
