Electrode sets up rain dance and I switch into Lunatone, Tauros, or Mr. Mime depending on the enemy. I can then set up cosmic
powers and prepare to sweep or let my walls take care of 2/3 or hopefully half my opponents team. Floatzel comes out whenever viable
and hits very hard and fast.

Electrode @ Damp Rock
Static
Hasty
252 Atk / 48 Sp.Atk / 208 Speed
Rain Dance
Taunt
Thunder
Explosion

My lead. I taunt the obvious stealth rocks or other leads that try to taunt me. My obnoxious speed almost guarantees my taunt goes
first. After setting up the rain dance I can thunder if I believe it will do a reasonable amount to what he has in, or explode to severely
hurt the switch. This pokemon is mainly to get rain dance going, and anything else he does is a bonus.

Lunatone @ Leftovers
Levitate
Bold
4 HP / 252 Def / 252 Sp.Def
Cosmic Power
Hypnosis?
Substitute
Baton Pass

The baton passer. This may seem random but in the many battles with it, it has saved my team multiple times. Its a 4 defensive move
pokemon that laughs at any move not super effective against it (unfortunately most moves are). Normally lunatones defenses
aren't that good but it maxes out at a reasonable 251 with this spread. 4 Cosmic powers later, my gorebyss is sweeping their
entire team.

Floatzel @ Choice Band
Swift Swim
Adamant
232 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def / 16 Speed
Waterfall
Ice Punch
Brick Break
Crunch

My choice band attacker. He has enough EV's to outspeed nearly everything in NU without a choice scarf, and some that
do (While rain dance is active). His current movepool allows him to get a super-effective hit on every time in the game except water,
bug, electric, fighting, and poison. The idea is to get in on a poke that wont switch out because it's trying to set up, take it out, and
get out of there quick.

Gorebyss @ Life Orb
Swift Swim
Modest
36 HP / 220 Speed / 252 Sp.Atk
Surf
Ice Beam
HP Grass
Psychic

This is my main sweeper. This is also a 4 attack move set that SE hits three things floatzel cant, fighting, poison, and water. With the life
orb and 252 Sp.Atk EV's Surf can OHKO most pokemon in NU that do not resist it. In most Gorebyss usually comes in with 3 or 4 def
and sp.def boosts and proceeds to sweep the entire team.

tauros.gif

Tauros @ Leftovers
Intimidate
Impish
244 HP / 12 Atk / 156 Def / 96 Speed
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Rest
Sleep Talk

My physical tank. Tauros has 291 defense with this spread and after an intimidate, most physical attackers in NU wont be OH or
2HKO'ing him. Earthquake makes up for the badly needed ground move on this team to take out the electric threats. Stone edge
eventually takes out the Ice and Bug types as well as the ever popular Charizard. Rest and sleep talk usually work to
keep this take alive awhile.

mr_mime.gif

Mr. Mime @ Choice Scarf
Filter
Calm
136 HP / 40 Sp. Atk / 212 Sp. Def / 120 Speed
Trick
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Rain Dance

My special wall. Wow is all I can say about Mr. Mimes Sp. Def. Start off by tricking the choice scarf off and rain dancing on the switch
if necessary. Shadow ball is for the ghost and physics which the rest of my team hates. And STAB psychic is for some damage on anything
else. If it were not for Mr. Mimes horrible HP he would be an AMAZING wall.

Common NU Threats

299.gif

Articuno - Can wall my team very good if Floatzel is unable to kill it.

131.png

Lapras - Practically a perfect counter to my team. Walls nearly everything and usually carry's thunderbolt.

378.png

Regice - A super effect brick break from a choice band Floatzel does about 200 to a 299 Def. Regice. Other than that im screwed.

476.png

Probopass - HP Grass and Earthquake hurt it pretty bad.

405-m.png

Luxray - Tauros can handle luxray quite nicely, but when hes dead I have large problems.

282.png

Gardevoir - Trace has the possibly of hurting, but im still faster and can take him out pretty easily.

233.png

Porygon2 - Much slower than Gardevoir, not much of a problem.

217.png

Ursaring - Stab surfs usually take him out before he can take me out.

186.png

Politoed - HP Grass is one of my only good options since he has water absorb.

332.png

Cacturne - Please dont miss, please dont miss, please dont miss... Damn it!

040.png

Wigglytuff - Brick break from Floatzel or EQ/Stone edge from Tauros.

025.png

Pikachu - I dont know what to do against this monster when Tauros is dead.

I like the idea of this team, but there seems to be too much going on. You are saying its a rain dance team, but there are only 2 rain dance users and one is choiced. For Lunatone, you say you pass to Gorebyss, but without rain support Goreby will be outsped. She may live the attack, but then its not a rain dance team anymore.

Floatzel also dislikes the choice band. In rain he will be extremely fast, but with the band there will be alot of switching, causing the rain to stop. A life orb would fit better.

I would say replace Lunatone for another rain dance user. Nidoqueen could work for stealth rock support and a good defensive core. Up to you, but try to get this team on a single track.

Yea my passing was failing because the rain kept ending, so I put baton pass on Mr. Mime. I changed my strategy to passing cosmic powers to Mr. Mime who then sets up rain. He then passes to Gorebyss. This has been working much better for me.
Electrode has become kinda useless and life orb does seem like a better option on Floatzel cause he has to swich alot. Thanks for the advice.
