RMT- obviously

ambipom.png

Hanuman (Ambipom) @ Silk Scarf Jolly
252Att/ 252 Speed/ 4 Def Technician
Double Hit
Fake Out
Taunt
U-Turn

what i would imagine is a standard ambipom lead, although i'm not sure, Fake out on first turn, double hit if it will KO, taunt if i predict hazards, u-turn if not. Speed EVs and Attack EVs so that i hit hard and fast and can u-tirn out before most things, Jolly nature to make sure i'm first. Counters many hazard users and people who set up and especially baton pass teams. Using silk scarf because my attacks are mainly normal and i hate recoil from life orb

gyarados-f.png

Uncegila (Gyarados) @ Muscle Band Jolly
252 Att/ 252 Speed/ 4 SpDef Intimidate
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Ice fang
Earthquake

Dragon dance on first turn, maybe second too, then have STAB and some coverage, one of my main 2 sweepers. Ice fang is solely to take care of dragons. Attack and Speed EVs obviously to help the sweeping, Jolly to make sure it outspeeds any adamant gyarados that i may be forced to battle, Earthquake is obviously to take care of electric types, i have found it to be very effective

vaporeon.png

Kanja (Vaporeon) @ Leftovers Bold
252 HP/ 164 Def/ 12 Speed/ 80 SpDef Water Absorb
Wish
Toxic
Protect
Hydro Pump

Wish passer or toxic staller that has Hydro pump as strong STAB if it is taunted or the last one left. The EVs are spread to reduce the harm it can take from a calculator i found that makes it so i take the least possible damage if i take a physical and special attack, protect helps to stall out the toxic, keep my wish without getting KO'd and help get a bit of leftovers

tyranitar_sprite.png

Xolotl (Tyranitar) @ Choice Scarf Jolly
252 Att/ 252 Speed/ 4 Def Sand Stream
Earthquake
Crunch
Stone Edge
Fire Punch

Choice scarf tyrantiar to outspeed most threats to my team, often fools pokemon into staying in and getting OHKO'd noticably focus Blast gengar and HP fighting Jolteon, Fire punch solely to take out scizor and forretress and EQ to take out electrics which i have a weakness to and to other T-tars, my other main sweeper, can be effective although having to switch out is often annoying, but i prefer it to any other set

skarmory.png

Stymphalian (Skarmory) @ Shed Shell Impish
252 HP/ 240 Def/ 12 SpDef Sturdy
Torment
Toxic
Protect
Roost

The idea is that i switch in, then on the next turn they will switch in a counter which i torment, then protect the hard hitting move and then toxic them, and then stall with protect and roost knowing they can't hit me twice with the same move until they switch or toxic finishes them. Not quite sure about this skarmory, but i dislike the normal sert and this seems to work with a bit of prediction, basically i want it to stall out things and make use of torment to make them unable to do enough damage to be effective, take them out the game

umbreon.png

Arundhati (Umbreon) @ Leftovers Careful
252 HP/ 164 Def/ 92 SpDef Synchronise
Wish
Protect
Yawn
Payback

Wish passing again, plus yawn: normally forces a switch who then gets a small hit from payback, or they go to sleep, or i can protect if i think they will stay in. EVs spread for the same reason that vaporeon's was, the sleep from yawn comes in very handy if it happens, otherwise the forced switching is very helpful anyway, protect to help yawn or wish along, give me leftovers and udse up a turn if they have been toxiced/tormented by vaporeon/skarmory

it seems like a pretty decent team, ambipom isnt really a good lead though, all yours will really be doing is taunting after getting a flinch for 10hp and then getting the hell out of there with u-turn, its not doing anything major and your opponent can set up rocks later on when he has weakened your pokemon a little which will hinder you alot, i would opt for an azelf as they can cripple an opponents lead and do some damage and if need be, explode on them and perhaps take them out.

your gyarados is pretty epic, although, you need an electric type absorber, may i suggest instead of t-tar being your secondary sweeper, how about flygon, you have some nice ice resistances to cover him and skarmory offers the dragon resist, he gets STAB earthquake and has a reasonable movepool, he is also alot faster than tyranitar, although not as powerful, you will find that the banded and scarfed variants are very useful in battles. it also has great synergy with gyarados, a banded/scarfed earthquake acts as set up bait for mence or dragonite, you can simply switch to your offensive gyarados, and with them expecting bulky, ice fang the hell out of them.

your skarmory takes the pace of out your team, vaporeon does the stalling for you, what i suggest is something bulky that has the potential to hit hard, alternatively if you want something that can almost guarantee a kill, try a mismagius (perish trapper) it also takes the fighting type attacks directed at umbreon. talking about umbreon, you have 2 wish passers, try a little variation, perhaps a mean look set could open up a sweep once all of his counters are gone, do some scouting then bring him in mid-game to mean look something, switch to the appropriate sweeper and continue, if used correctly, that umbreon will win you many games.

hope this helps :D

The ambipom actually does a hell of a lot more than people think, really unless they have a bulky resistance as they're lead (e.g. Gross) it does a good 20-40% goes almost to 50 with frailer anti leads like azelf, and their sash is also gone. I tried azelf previously and found that it couldn't do enough without exploding and then it can't do a lot really, yet Ambipom will usually get 3-4 switch ins for fake out and can easily cripple people.

I was considering a Flygon, but to replace Skarmory rather than T-tar as i found my Skarmory ddin't do a lot more than Vaporeon did, so I might try that, anything particualr you would recommend or should I just test both choiced sets?

Also i find having 2 wish users extremely helpful and it has given me comebacks so many times, i'm not really considering getting rid of one for anything too easily, and i personally dislike perish trapping.

Thanks

I'd put Life Orb on that Gyarados, whether you like it or not. The power increase is worth it for 20% more attacking power over Muscle Band, and it can be important for some KOs. Leftovers are probably the best alternative, as Gyarados takes 25% from Stealth Rock and can actually achieve decent bulk with the recovery.

Stone Edge over Ice Fang too. It hits most dragons (Salamence and Dragonite) nearly as hard, but more importantly it hits Zapdos (outspeed and OHKO if you DD on the switch) and will be your best option against other Gyarados. If you run into Gliscor, Waterfall will hit nearly as hard and Ice Fang can be Roost stalled if you don't have a DD. Gliscor with Stone Edge might win anyway.

On my last team I used a very similar Vaporeon with Surf over Hydro Pump. Functions well. It doesn't have a ton of power anyway, so Surf might be worth trying for reliability.

I would consider Pursuit over Fire Punch on Tyranitar. Scizor can OHKO you with Bullet Punch unless you have a Babiri Berry (which would be pointless on CS Tar, of course), and Pursuit hits nicely on Ghosts and stuff like Blissey when they switch.

The only issue with that Skarmory is that Taunt debilitates it more than usual, and people familiar with the set will foresee Protect if they're Tormented on the Switch. It's also walled be steel attackers like Metagross, who Skarmory usually should wall. SubTran can come in on Skarmory and set up a sub. Once it has a sub up it can do something dangerous to everything on your team (bar maybe Umbreon, but Umbreon can only hit it not very effectively, and still can't do anything once its sub is down--still taking a bit from Fire Blast).

Umbreon seems a little pointless there with Vaporeon. You don't need 2 Wish-passers, especially when Wish-passing isn't all that reliable. Another Wisher with Protect and one attack move... I don't think it really is getting a lot done. Yawn could also conflict with Toxic and Skarmory and Vaporeon.

I think Umbreon needs to be replaced. It doesn't have a lot of purpose outside of a Baton Pass team. I would replace it with something that has SR. Going with the standard Skarmory set would probably be better. It's also an option to put SR on there which gives you more freedom with Umbreon's slot.

One thing you might be able to make use of is a status absorber. I would suggest ResTalk Machamp with Rest / Sleep Talk / Dynamicpunch / Payback.
