Hello everyone,
I recently found out about competitive pokemon and I started making a good team.
After a few horrible attempts this team can at least hold its own against the rest. I don't win much, but at least I'm not sweeped out in a few turns.
I really would like some help improving it.
So here it is:
Infernape (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Blaze
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Fake Out
- Close Combat
- Stealth Rock
- Overheat
When I was searching for a good lead I stumbled across the Infernape lead build. It uses fake out in the first turn, eliminating focus sash leads. The next turn it can either OhKO pokemon that are weak to its Close Combat or Overheat, or damaging the switch in. Then it can guaranteed lay down stealth rock, due to its own focus sash.
Tyranitar (F) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
Part one of my two-man sandstorm combo. I figured in a meta with lots of weather teams, a weather invoker was a good think to have. I gave it a offensive set to discourage a wheater switch in.
Terrakion @ Choice Band
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- X-Scissor
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Double Kick
To take advantage of the sandstorm, I decided a choice band Terrakion was a good choice. Bassicly using it's two powerfull, STAB, band boosted moves. Double kick is to counter substitude. I don't really needed the last move so it is a nice thing to have.
Sableye @ Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
- Night Shade
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Taunt
Sableye is my annoyer and secundaire lead. I mostly use it to counter walls and stall pokemon. Using taunt to stop their stall moves en will-O-Wisp to to inflict passive damage. Then I use Recover to stay alive and Night Shade to do some damage myself.
Scizor (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit
Standard technician bullet punch scizor. I Not really much to say about it really I think. Really quick, that's why I like him.
Latios @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Psyshock
- Trick
Latios is used for its specs draco meteor to do big damage. using trick to give hits specs a way to mess with my opponent is a added bonus.
This is my first OU Team and my first RMT So just tell me when I'm doing something wrong :p
Thanks in advance :D
