RMT: OU First Attempt.~

Note before posting team.

I started playing competative like 3 weeks ago, and i couldn't test on shoddy because my computer is dead and my laptop doesn't download Shoddy.. i know it's retarded.
This is a rough draft of what i'm playing right now, and i needs to get a lot better. So every comment is welcome, and if you post please note the reasons of your fixes / suggestions.
Thanks for reading this and enjoy my RMT.
PS: Sorry for random layout... just joined here so need time to figure it all out xP
Also adding threat list etc. later... didn't found time yet.

@ Leftovers

Ability: Torrent
Relaxed: 252 HP / 252 Defense / 4 Special Attack
Earthquake / Stealth Rock / Protect / Ice Beam

Bulky Water is always good, setting up SR & hurt Gyarados / Salamence / Latias / Metagross etc.
Also good for Sponging Electric Attacks for Gyarados. I love to use this guy
for destroying threats for Scizor and Salamence. Leftovers help me recover some health for better sponging.

gyarados.png
@ Leftovers

Ability: Intimidate
Adamant: 156 HP / 144 Speed / 108 Attack / 100 Defense
Taunt / Waterfall / Stone Edge / Dragon Dance

Bulkados, another Bulk in my team. Everyone knows this set breaks alot of opponents, especially early in the game.
Don't really need to say more here, same goes for the EV spread. It clears alot of threats for Scizor and Salamence,
and sponges good vs Choice Banded Fighters & Earthquakes, powered by Intimidate.
Basically Sponge attack, (taunt), DD and sweep.

salamence.png
@ Leftovers

Ability: Intimidate
Rash: 252 Special Attack / 176 Speed / 80 Attack
Earthquake / Flamethrower / Dragon Claw / Draco Meteor

Mixmence, i prefer Rash over Mild since most Ice Beam's OHKO this guy anyways. This guy comes in mid and late game
to inflict some pain on the opponent & is my main wall breaker.
It's pretty good at sponging some attacks that would kill Swampert & outspeeds most of those guys.
252 SpA to destroy alot that doesn't resist it, Earthquake for the usual targets, and Dragon Claw for good STAB vs special walls.
Most of you guys think: lol wut, Flamethrower over FB? Yes.. it's a personal preference because it missed 2 times in a row, several times.
Flamethrower does basically the same but it's obviously less powerfull.. still OHKO's most targets if weakened by SR and/or previous attack damage.
Good sweeper even without DD.

scizor.png
@ Choice Band

Ability: Technician
Adamant: 248 HP / 252 Attack / 8 Speed
U-Turn / Pursuit / Superpower / Bullet Punch

When most threats are eliminated this guy comes in and destroys everything. I only use this as a late game sweeper.
252 Attack to get it at 394 attack, 248 HP to survive 8 SR's and the rest in SpD.
I used U-Turn over X-Scissor to give me a chance against Dugtrio's Arena Trap. Since it's no longer OU i don't see it anymore though. Everyone knows this set so further explanation isn't needed.

jirachi.png
@ Choice Scarf

Ability: Serene Grace
Jolly: 252 Attack / 176 Speed / 80 HP
U-Turn / Trick / Thunder Punch / Iron Head

Salamence Supporter. Suggested by Blue Tornado, overall good switch in for Lucario, MixMence and T-Tar.
252 Attack to maximize it's ferocious power, 176 Speed to outspeed most targets not wearing Scarf, T-Punch for clearing Gyarados. U-Turn to escape from dangerous opponents or revenge kill Alakazam, Azelf & other Psychic types.

heatran.png
@ Choice Specs

Ability: Flash Fire
Naive: 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
Fire Blast / Earth Power / Explosion / Hidden Power - Grass

Not the fastest around, but it inflicts tremendous damage on opponents.. even those who resist it. Fire Blast does the same as SpecsMence's Draco Meteor so it's a force to be reckoned with. Earth Power & Dragon Pulse are basic knowledge, for Hidden Power i really need to check what mine will have though ... if it doesn't have Grass think i'm changing it to Dragon Pulse instead.

Scizor doesn't want those speed EVs. U-Turn and Superpower are both better when they're going second in the Scizor matchups.

Your team is retardedly physically biased. If your Mence is taken out by one of the many counters people run for it, you've got pretty much nothing against anything physically defensive. You need to spread your eggs about a bit more.

I would make Swampert Mixed, for a start. Ice Beam-EQ is a better set than Avalanche-EQ, and gives you access to Roar or Protect over the Water STAB. With that done, you could replace Salamence with a Latias, possibly Scarfed. This gives you a revenge killer for opposing Salamence and Latias, as well as a powerful special attacker to clear out physically strong sponges.

I would drop Gliscor for something Steel-typed and somewhat bulky. You need something to stop Salamence or Latias taking you apart, and Gliscor just adds another physical setup sweeper to a team that's already loaded with physical sweepers. Magnezone, Jirachi, Forretress, Metagross, or Bronzong are your choices, I think.

Welcome to smogon!

Hmm, I see that your team is pretty Gyarados weak, as the only thing you can do is SE with Infernape and hope that he DD's up when you switch in. Even when Infernape is switched-in safely, a damage calculation with your Infernape's SE against BulkyGyara shows that it does only 60.00% - 70.81% to it - not KO'ing even after SR. This calls for a better counter for it. How about changing Infernape to a Scarfed Jirachi?

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf | Serene Grace
Jolly | 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Iron Head / Trick / Thunderpunch / U-Turn

Adding Jirachi over Infernape will give your team better overall resistances, and it teams up well with Salamence. This Jirachi can get rid of Gyarados and can also help you revenge kill MixMence (and can switch in on Draco Meteor as well), Tyranitar and stop Latias, while keeping momentum by U-Turning out. Fire Punch is an option instead, making it a viable Lucario check, but you already have Gyarados and Gliscor for that.

Now that we have Jirachi over your lead Ape, you can make Swampert your lead, as it can reliably set up SR in front of most other leads.

252 HP on Scizor makes you die after 8 SR switches, so the recommended HP EV ammount is 248, with 8 additional EVs placed in SpD to make you hopefully slower than other Scizor (this gives you the advantage most of the time).

Good luck!
