The team has 6 pokemon wich all have 2 types.
The types i use in the defense are, Fight/Fire/Dragon/Psycic/Fly/Water/Ground/Steel/Ghost. 2 of my pokemon have the ability Levitate, this means they can't be hit by Ground moves.
To make it some easier for you, I used the Marriland Team maker for the resistances.

types.jpg

So now we know the resistances of my team why not have it about the offensive sides?

My team has:
  • 2 Fire Moves
  • 1 Fight Move
  • 1 Grass Move
  • 1 Electric Move
  • 1 Dragon Move
  • 1 Rock Move
  • 1 Ground Move
  • 1 Ice Move
  • 1 Water Move
  • 1 Steel Move
  • 1 Normal Move (Explosion)
This where the moves that deal damage, ofcourse I have other moves like taunt and will-o-wisp too, this is what a team makes strong.

As you can see my team has NO Flying, Psychic and Dark moves, this means
I am having nothing against fight pokemon, also if I switch in Bronzong, Payback will get me like a pain in the ***.
Any suggestions?

The Team
(I do not own the following images: www.arkeis.com does)

infernape.png

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
Nature: Naive

EV spread:
Hp 0

Atk 64
Def 0
Spe 192
SpA 252
SpD 0

Moves:
~Close Combat

~Nasty Plot
~Flamethrower
~Grass Knot
Infernape is my Lead and also my Mixed Sweeper, with his huge move pool

he can have a grass and a fire move. This means he and his focus sash
can take out almost any pokemon.

The real job of my infernape lead is to scare stuff off, people think ow my skarmory can't take this ill send in Heatran for flash fire, wich ends on heatran getting Close Combat in his face and Infernape having +2 SpA on the switch.

Well the 3 Attack moves are just what Attacking moves do, cover and kill.
Now Nasty Plot is where u play with. 1 Nasty Plot is enough to make infernape a mean machine but the more the better, try using them on the switch or on pokemon that cant harm you. Like this infernape can take out pokemon or atleast hurt them alot so his frends can finish it.

latias.png

Latias @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid

EV spread:
Hp 148

Atk 64
Def 0
Spe 252
SpA 108
SpD 0

Moves:
~Hidden Power [Fire]

~Dragon Pulse
~Recover
~Calm Mind
Calm mind and recovery can help ya set up alot, Dragon pulse can take alot pokemon because it has 100% to most of the pokemon, steel will

resist Pulse so thats why I have Hidden Power Fire.

I use this 1 alot as special tank and i take alot hits, i can even take 2 ice beams. Well when they come from starmie i can't but i can at all others.

gyarados.png

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant

EV spread:
Hp 156

Atk 108
Def 100
Spe 144
SpA 0
SpD 0

Moves:
~Taunt

~Dragon Dance
~Waterfall
~Stone Edge
Gyarados, I use this pokemon to annoy annoyers like toxic blissey, or skarmory spiking my team all under, I use stone edge for flying coverage.

Waterfall for the stab, try and get as much Dragon Dance as possible and you will be able to get alot damage to your oppenent, together with Infernape Gyarados has no weakness. So it can be smart to keep those 2 alive.

swampert.png

Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Impish
EV spread:

Hp 240
Atk 52
Def 216
Spe 0
SpA 0
SpD 0

Moves:
~Rest

~Sleep Talk
~Avalance
~Earthquake
Swampert, just a normal rest talk build, just fight, when you are on low Health you use rest and sleep talk 1-2 turns, now use a move and hope on wake up.

I haven't find Swampert in handy yet, i was wondering wich would do better in my team?
Mamoswine, Swampert, Starmie

bronzong.png

Bronzong @ Macho Brace
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Sassy
EV spread:

Hp 252
Atk 84
Def 80
Spe 0
SpA 0
SpD 92

Moves:
~Trick

~Gyro Ball
~Explosion
~Stealth Rock
The tank like no other,

Bronzong can take many hits, it will just set up Stealth Rock for the late game damage, now if a pokemon has a good item wich makes him strong, take it and make the oppenent half speed.

A slow heatran is a bad heatran is what my frend m0nkfish says.

Explosion when you almost die, and since you have half speed your Gyro ball deals massive damage also.

dusknoir.png

Dusknoir @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Impish
EV spread:

Hp 252
Atk 56
Def 200
Spe 0
SpA 0
SpD 0

Moves:
~Thunderpunch [This is electric ofcourse, but yellow wasn't any good with white background]

~Shadow Sneak
~Will-O-Wisp
~Pain Split
Counter Gyarados and take advantage of attacking first with shadow sneak, it happens alot that your pokemon died and the oppenent has 5 hp left or so, now send in this ghost guy and shadow sneak the oppenent to finish it.

Pain Split for Health regen. And will-o-wisp for the switchers getting presents. could help in late game.

Suggestions?

I like the concept of Infernape being something that can force switches and cause problems as a lead, but in that case, Nasty Plot looks highly redundant to me. Furthermore, I would actually consider Shuca Berry instead of Focus Sash. Why? Because against certain leads like Hippowdon, they will look to Earthquake, in order to kill you that turn with Sandstorm damage. However, with Shuca Berry, you can survive the hit, and hit Hippowdon for a 2hKO, at which point you can either SR on the switch, or hit the switchin hard.

Also, always max speed on Infernape.

I would replace Nasty Plot with Stealth Rock. I would also consider replacing Close Combat with Hidden Power Electric, as Gyarados and other bulky waters will like to come in on Infernape after you kill/dent their lead. Obviously this takes a bit of prediction.

Latias is fine; maybe consider Refresh over Hidden Power Fire to beat Blissey. Pursuit Scizor will be a pain though.

Not sure what Gyarados is doing in your team other than providing good resistances...in that case, maybe make it a Rest/Sleep Talk/Dragon Dance/Waterfall variant, with 252 HP / 100 Def / 148 Speed, with a Jolly Nature. This will be enough to beat Gengar after a Dragon Dance, yet will provide both defensive ability and late-game sweeping ability. You can also opt for Roar with an even more defensive build.

I think all good offensive teams need at least one Choice Scarfer - Starmie I think makes a solid one. Hits hard on the special side, versatile, and can trick it's Scarf onto Blissey in order to weaken it when it tries to stop Latias. It is also useful in shutting down opposing Gyarados and Salamence (always outspeeding them after a Dragon Dance).

I would suggest 6 HP / 252 Speed / 252 SAtk, Modest Nature, with Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Hydro Pump, and Trick. If stall gives you problems you can try Rapid Spin, as Hydro Pump threatens Rotom/Gengar switchins.

I would remove Bronzong entirely, and replace it with Jirachi carrying a Choice Scarf, with 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def, Jolly Nature, and with Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Iron Head, and a filler move. That filler move can be Wish, Reflect/Light Screen, or Fire Punch. I would probably opt for Wish, but Fire Punch can be useful as a check to Scizor and Lucario.

Finally, I would suggest an offensive Gliscor in your last spot, with 180 HP / 110 Atk / 220 speed, which is enough to outspeed the standard CM Jirachi, Lucario (which may run Hidden Power Ice/Ice Punch to deal with Gliscor), Roserade, and Moltres, among others, while providing good defense against fighting types (watch out for Ice Punch) and physical threats like Tyranitar.

I like the team but have a few things to say:

You should probably run Wish support when using BulkyGyara, so you could run a Jirachi with Wish in Bronzong's spot. I'm pretty sure if you ran a Paralysis move there, it could help a team that doesn't have any scarfers or pokes above 110 base speed. You could also run a RestTalk gyara, but a resttalk gyara AND a resttalk pert seems like you're losing a lot of coverage. BUT you can choose to switch your Swampert to a standard Stealth Rock/ Stone Edge / EQ / Ice Beam and put it as your lead instead. Stone Edge helps with Gyarados and random Zapdos. Ice Beam is help against dragons. This means you can save your Infernape for the late-game sweeper it is and slap a Life Orb on it.

Now, your team has a rather large weakness to Calm Mind Latias. It can set up on Nape and there's nothing you can do to stop it. You're forced to use Trick or Explode on it with Bronzong, which isn't usually something you can bank on to easily help you beat Latias.

Lastly, if you make these changes, Dusknoir isn't necessary for your team...if you switch to swampert with stone edge, and go with a resttalk gyarados utilizing Rest/Sleep Talk/Stone Edge/Waterfall, then you can probably stop an Offensive Gyarados sweep. I suggest this RestTalk Gyara. moveset because Nape would be your late-game sweeper. Unfortunately, a team utilizing Nape as a late-game sweeper should have a solid way to deal with Latias, which your team does not have. For that reason, you should probably replace your Dusknoir with something to help you with this weakness.

Other than that, it seems quite solid. Hope I helped!

Definitely solid but I find something wrong in dusknoir. If Im thinking about this right, he should be a complete deadweight.

First thing's first, dusknoir is not a stellar OU poke, hes quite a crappy one. He can certainly work given the right niche in a team. I do not see where he belongs in yours. He has 2 weaknesses which are not resisted by anyone on your team, and isnt covering any weaknesses of other pokes (perhaps he is but nothing big).

Suggestion: Tentacruel.

Considering you appear to be fine with a defensive poke in that spot cruel can really help with some issues your team might have like mixapes brought in midgame. And how about vaporeon? You cant do much to that at ALL. He really seems like he'd pull his weight a lot better than dusk would.

While a lot of what Ancien Regime works, I think there are better ways to make this team really work.

Overall, from your intro, it seems that you are focused too much on covering all your bases, and not on advancing a strategy. You are in luck though--you have two great sweepers in Gyarados and Latias that have great synergy. I really think you should focus on getting these guys a clean sweep.

First off, I think a standard LeadApe will help get the ball rolling for your team better than your current NPApe.

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Blaze
Naive
64 Atk, 248 SpA, 196 Spe
-Fake Out
-Fire Blast
-Close Combat
-Stealth Rock

First off, you now get rocks in ASAP, which greatly helps in weakening the opponents team from the very first stages of the match. As for the extra speed point, I generally do that on a lot of my teams just to outspeed mirror matches. With SR in this position, it also frees up Bronzong for an entirely new set.

Bronzong @ Light Clay
Levitate
Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP, 152 Atk, 8 Def, 96 SpD
-Light Screen
-Reflect
-Gyro Ball
-Explosion

This is where things start to come together. With Dualscreens aiding Bulky Gyara and the naturally bulky Latias, you will find it easy to run through their own counters after softening up the opponents team a bit. Now, this is where Swampert can come into the picture to start this weakening process...

Swampert @ Choice Band
Torrent
Adamant
EVs: 104 HP, 204 Atk, 100 Def, 100 Spe
-Earthquake
-Ice Punch
-Waterfall
-Stone Edge

CB Pert is ideal for your team. It gives you a bit of a surprise factor, and also hits usual switch-ins like Celebi and Gyarados hard if your predict correctly. The aforementioned Celebi is even more vital to KO so that Gyarados can sweep with impunity. Needless to say, it gives you a solid, quick-response attacking force.

When it comes to Dusknoir, I can't help but think that a Choice Scarf Rotom-h would help you a lot more given the role you are trying to have it play in countering Gyarados. I really don't think the loss of WoW should hurt too much, since you gain a TrickScarf and you will have Dualscreen on Zong.

As for your sweepers themselves, Bulkygyara is awesome the way it is, but you'll find that HP Fire is much less useful than Surf on Latias. I would also encourage you to go with the normal Offensive Latias set with Life Orb, just so that you'd have an easier time getting past Tyranitar and sweeping up whatever remnants a Gyarados sweep might leave.

Anyway, with these changes, you now have a powerful central strategy that should win you a lot of games. I encourage to at least test them. Good hunting!

Definitely solid
Thanks

Well I would try and do something with Bronzong so I can have the scarfer, but I wont be having a Tank no longer.

The starmie is fine ill put it in but what to replace?
I like my bulky gyarados as it is and I prefer not switching my lead, maybe fake out will do against pokes like aerodectyl.

Hey, well I use this team in Pokemon Pearl so no Rotom-H in my team till i have Platinum, Than the swampert, it seems tough im gonna use that 1 for a while. Thanks
