385Jirachi.png

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 80 HP/252 Atk/176 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Trick
- Stealth Rock

Anti-lead Jirachi. He takes out some common leads with Iron Head. Others are tricked and I get a chance to set up rocks. Metagross and Swampert (among others) like to use Earthquake against him. This gives me a chance to switch in one of my 3 that are immune. I usually go for Salamence. This draws out their dragon counters, often giving Latias a chance to set up late-game.

130Gyarados.png

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 156 HP/108 Atk/100 Def/144 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge
- Taunt

I chose a bulky version of Gyarados. I like Taunt for wallbreaking, something that the rest of my team can have trouble with. Otherwise switch into a resisted attack, set up with DD, and sweep.

212Scizor.png

Scizor (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 20 HP/252 Atk/236 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Quick Attack

Revenge killing Scizor. 12 speed to beat other Scizors with the same CB set from Smogon. I know the slower one wins when both are using Superpower, but how often do two Choice Banded Scizors switch in at the same time and use Superpower (or U-Turn)? Or is there some circumstance I'm unaware of that would cause this? I'm also thinking about replacing Superpower with Brick Break.

380Latias.png

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Recover
- Drago Meteor
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Surf

Offensive Latias. I usually sweep with her late-game. Switch into something resisted and set up with a CM or two. I chose HP fire for Scizor primarily but also for other steels. I'm considering running the defensive CM set with her but I would be using HP fire over Refresh.
---
373Salamence.png

Salamence (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 232 Atk/254 Spd/24 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast

I usually switch her in early on expecting an Earthquake or Earth power on my Jirachi. She can either break open a match by taking out a few enemies or something is brought in to counter it (making things easier for Latias later).
---
448Lucario.PNG

Lucario (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Extremespeed
- Crunch

Another late-game sweeper. Unstoppable against some teams after a SD. The speed could be better but Extremespeed is there for those frail but speedy Pokes. I chose Crunch in the fourth slot because the way this team started, it needed it for Cresselia and other Psychics. But I don't know if this is the best decision anymore.
---

This team is made for its resistances and getting switch-ins on those and then setting up. So...rate my team.

Also...note the resistances to entry hazards. 2 resist stealth rock (although 2 are weak). All 6 are immune to toxic spikes. 3 are immune to spikes.

Woah...I just noticed I only have one special attacker. But it's been working so far. I'll be thinking about switches I can make that won't be too major to fix this. Maybe a Specs Lucario?

your team has no electric or ice moves whatsoever.
also, half your team can be swept by basically any relatively fast pokemon that has all three punches and EQ (like certain electivires and some metagross [i think])

Id say replace someone with someone who can take care of those weaknesses, like magnezone. He is also pretty much the best skarmory counter.

Other than that, its a good team (however identical it is to about 7 other teams ive seen here in RMT)

If you're going to 12 Speed EVs to beat to beat Scizors, you should actually have 4. Whichever Scizor U-Turns last wins. Just make sure you don't end up with max HP

Hello.

First off, Latias is always going to want a recovery move. Without a recovery move you will never hope to beat things like Substitute Heatran or Seismic Toss Blissey. This would also mean you'd have to predict flawlessly to get around Infernape, and even then you will have problems switching into repeated Close Combats / Fire Blasts with Stealth Rock down. A quick fix to this problem would be to run Hidden Power [Fire] / Surf / Draco Meteor / Recover. Having used this set rather extensively lately (except with Thunderbolt because my team had Vaporeon trouble) I can attest to how effective it is. You can also chose to use Calm Mind over Hidden Power [Fire] as then you can usually beat Blissey and CM LO Surf does ~75% to Scizor and almost as much to Tar.

I see quite a weakness to Charge Beam Jolteon as well. The best fix to this would be to not allow it to setup to be completely honest. Right now it can Charge Beam on Scizors Bullet Punch or just as easily come into Gyarados' Dragon Dance and Charge Beam for the OHKO and still get a boost and proceed to sweep (or severely hamper!) your team. Anyway, to fix this, I'd run Swords Dance DP Scizor and Jolly Leftovers Gyarados.

Scizor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 24 HP/252 Atk/232 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Superpower / U turn
- Quick Attack

Swords Dance Quick Attack OHKOs Jolteon quite easily (104-122%), and even without a Swords Dance you can muster 52-61%. Hell, you can even prevent Heatran from getting a Substitute (28-33%). Superpower is to OHKO Lucario / Heatran / Magnezone. U turn can be used if you still want it in order to keep up tempo.

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Bounce
- Waterfall
- Stone Edge

This is a much safer switch in to Lucario and Mamoswine imo since you now outspeed the common variants of both and can easily OHKO. +1 Bounce OHKOs Celebi with SR and +1 Waterfall OHKOs Jolteon and a quite large majority of the metagame. Stone Edge hits Salamence / opposing Gyarados very hard. Leftovers is needed because its really the only way you can switch into physical threats somewhat decently since you absolutely NEED Mence at full health to sweep (saying this from experience).

Also, lastly, run Adamant on Lucario. You lose 82 Attack points after a Swords Dance when using Jolly > Adamant, and to be honest Crunch is only really useful on Adamant Lucario. Jolly usually works better with Stone Edge or Crunch. Adamant will also provide you with a more powerful Extreme Speed, both post and pre Swords Dance.

I'm going to change to a more Defensive Latias. I haven't decided on a spread yet but the moveset will be Calm Mind, Recover, Refresh, Dragon Pulse.

I''ll try out your recommendation with the Scizor. I'll switch Lucario to Adamant but I might swap him for a Heatran. This should help with opposing Scizors. And I have my Scizor to deal with TTars. (TTar and Scizor can both give Latias huge problems)

Thanks for the help.

Its obviouly a very strong team. I often play with basically the same one. Only thing I wonder about is whether the triple fire weak ever poses a problem.
