[RMT] OU set up sweeper team

Hi, I just started battling on shoddy last month and this is my first RMT ever. I would like to improve this team because I think it has potential. Thanks for any suggestions!
The strategy of this team is to bp sub to my setup pokes and do as much damage as possible.

Sorry if I make any errors because I'm not 100% sure what i'm doing lol :P

Togekiss @ Choice Scarf
Timid
125 Def / 125 Spdef / 252 Speed
- Trick
- Thunder wave
- Air Slash
- Roost/Wish/Protect

I've been testing this lead and it has done pretty well except against metagross leads. My strategy is to trick when the opponent sets up and then twave the switch in pokemon.
I didn't give togekiss any HP ev's because I don't have a rapid spinner and sometimes I bp sub with celebi to togekiss and it is better to have higher defenses so the sub can survive. I've had sweeps just twaving and flinx haxing pokes. Very cool pokemon.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Timid
Natural Cure
252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
- Sub
- BP
- Grass knot
- Recover / leech seed
I usually bring in celebi on blissey or pokemon that fear it and substitute up. My team covers all it's weakness so my next move is baton pass predicting my opponents attack. If they use ice beam/dark/ghost attacks I baton pass in lucario because it has 2/4/2x resistance. Heatran takes fire and bug attacks and usually the sub survives. Suicune is also resitance to fire and ice attacks.

Lucario @ Life Orb / Focus Sash
Adamant
4 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Spe
- Sword Dance
- Extreme Speed
- Crunch
- Close Combat

The standard physical sweeper. Lucario is one of my favorite pokemon and I've used this moveset on most of my teams. After a SD, he is able to sweep most teams. When he gets a sub behind him the game is pretty much over unless my opponent roars or can survive +2 CC. I usually have focus sash instead of life orb but because my team lacks a spinner I decided to use life orb to deal more damage.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Modest
252 HP / 16 / 240 SpDef
- Lava plume
- Earth power
- Stealth Rock
- Roar

I am really not sure what heatran moveset works best for my team. I've tried a lot of different moves but I'm always running into problems against certain pokemon like salamences and other heatrans. I decided to use roar because I think my team needed a phazer.

dpmfa143.png

Snorlax@Chesto Berry/Leftovers
Careful
168 HP / 120 Def / 220 SpD
- Curse
- Rest
- Body Slam
- Fire Punch

Standard Curselax. If my opponent tries to attack celebi with a ghost/weak special attack I baton pass to my Snorlax. If the sub survives I usually start cursing and then doing as much damage as possible. Rest is for recovery. Snorlax is usually my late game sweeper when the fighting pokemon are all dead.

dpmfa245.png

Suicune@Chesto Berry
Bold
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
- Calm mind
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Rest

My special sweeper. I calm mind up as many times and then rest to heal status and recover max HP. Then I try to do as much damage as possible and rest when I'm low hp again. I've been having problem with other calm minders.

Threats: I haven't battled enough with this team but I have problems with salamance/electivire/explosion pokes that cripple my sweepers.

Thanks for reading. If I made any mistakes please let me know =p

This whole team is screwed over by lead Aero....even if you do trick him the scarf, he can still taunt you, then you can only air slash, allowing them to switch in something like blissey...

Change Heatran to a Scarftran plox...

On Celebi, Run a bold nature with 176 hp/252 def /80 SpA for Physicals aswell...

Thanks for replying. I have had this happen once and when they switch to blissey I brought celebi to sub and bp to lucario (it needs max hp for 101 subs so I can avoid the sub breaking when it seismic toss). Celebi isn't suppose to taking hits because the purpose is to sub and then baton pass 101 subs so it needs max speed/hp.

I was going to use scarftran but i hate having to be locked into one move when it has a sub up.

Expanding on this, SD Lucario in particular is a large threat to this team, dealing massive damage to everything with a SD up. At least scarfing Heatran will give you a decent check for it.

Thanks for advice. I will test out the scarftran. I think I ran into a SD lucario a few times and I was able to kill it with togekiss by twaving it or flinx haxing it.
I see how it is a huge threat though. I don't know which pokemon I should replace.

Hello
I'll take care of your slashits and make some suggestions.

Roost on togekiss, because wish without protect is like apple pie without some cheese (bad pun) and protect on its own serves basically no purpose on that set. I personally would go with recover over leech seed on celebi, but I can see both viably working, but the perk of instant recovery for some sub/recover action is to good to pass up. Deffinatly Life orb over focus sash on lucario because sash is useless with rocks, especially with no spinner. Also, you should be sure to try ice punch over crunch over lucario as it eleiminates many potential counters while crunch really only covers gengar and cresselia.

Go with Scarf on heatran, with naive 252 sp. atk 220 spd 36 attack and explosion, fire blast, earth power, and dragon pulse/hp ice. This can be a good check for lucario in particular who you have trouble with. It can also check threats such as mix mence, specs mence, and can explode on blissey as well as being a good sweeper. Snorlax wants leftovers over chesto as being a curselax chesto is a one time thing and once it gets used up snorlax will really miss the lefties recovery, espeicially in sand.
Suicune wants lefties also, and maybe sleeptalk over ice beam to go crocune, but thats up to you.

I like the concept, and I hope you have success in the future.

Ok, 1st change up the Celebi to Bold 252hp/220def/36speed and get rid of Chesto on Suicune. I would make the Snorlax Choice band for the lulz, but if you want it a rest curser then lefties with that spread is good. Life orb on adamant luke ALWAYS! Choice Scarf The Heatran, thats pretty much it and you have a decent team xD.

Thanks for the great suggestions and comments. I've been doing some testing and the team has had some success. I got to 1450 score but I really want to get to 1500 XD
