Scizor@Occa Berry
Swarm
Impish (+Def/-SpAtt)
EVs: 252 Hp/104 Def/32 SpDef/120 Speed
-Iron Defense
-Baton Pass
-Roost
-X-scissor

Sturdy lead, Iron Defenses increase his ability to take hits and can be Baton Passed. Roost for recovery and X-scissor for STAB, getting hits on Weavile and the like. Able to comfortably shake off Explosions, especially with Iron Defenses under his belt. Occa berry to weaken Fire attacks.

Gliscor@Leftovers
Hyper Cutter
Impish (+Def/-SpAtt)
EVs: 244 Hp/216 Def/48 SpDef
-Rock Polish
-Baton Pass
-Roost/Taunt
-Earthquake

244 Hp EVs allows for maximum Leftovers recovery, and the extra few points are fairly unnecessary anyway. Rock Polish to be Baton Passed, Roost for survivability (or Taunt to block Phazing/Hazing). Earthquake gets STAB.

dpmfa468.png

Togekiss@Leftovers
Serene Grace
Calm (+SpDef/-Atk)
EVs: 232 Hp/192 Speed/84 SpDef
-Nasty Plot
-Baton Pass
-Roost
-Air Slash

232 Hp gives, again, maximum Leftovers recovery, with an extra point to allow 4 switch ins to Stealth Rock whilst leaving 1HP. The extra points from Hp went into SpDef. Nasty Plot benefits itself, adding power to Air Slash, which can hurt with the boosted Flinch rate, which helps to make up for the amount of pokemon who resist it. Once again, Roost for survivability.

Drifblim@Apicot Berry
Unburden
Calm (+SpDef/-Att)
EVs: 252 Hp/64 Def/80 SpDef/112 Speed
-Substitute
-Baton Pass
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt

Surprisingly, one of the more strategic members of the team. Firstly, 252 Hp to give sizeable substitutes (126 Hp) and grant him survivability. 112 Speed EVs allows him to [barely] outrun Bulky Gyarados, i think, when it hasnt used DD yet. Thunderbolt was missing from the rest of the team, and so here it is, if only for Gyarados. When health gets low, the Apicot berry activates, increasing SpDef. This then Activates his ability Unburden, doubling Speed (incidentally allowing him to outrun a BulkyDos with 2 DDs running). These can then be Baton Passed on of course, as well as his substitutes which, With Iron Defenses, the Apicot SpDef boost and 126 Hp behind it, wont be breaking easily. He's able to stand a Hp (Ice) from Heatran, with no boosts going, with ~half Hp remaining.

Smeargle@Focus Sash
Own Tempo
Jolly (+Speed/-SpAtt)
EVs: 252 Hp/4 SpDef/252 Speed
-Ingrain
-Baton Pass
-Rapid Spin
-Seismic Toss

Its stats are just awful, so Speed was priority, since it doesnt do much else. Hp came after to help ensure some sort of survivability. Focus Sash was used for the same reason. Ingrain stops PHazing, and Haze is rare enough i think. Rapid Spin gets rid of spikes and whatnot, which i feel is more valuable than Spore. Seismic Toss makes up for the awful attack stat. I tend to stay away from movesets with no attacking moves, as i feel they are more likely to get trapped into uselessness when something like Taunt is used. Didnt want to set it as lead due to the number of leads running Taunt.

Glaceon@Leftovers
Snow Cloak
Modest (+SpAtt/-Att)
EVs: 200 Hp/56 SpAtt/80 SpDef/172 Speed
-Wish
-Baton Pass
-Ice Beam
-HP (Fighting)

Generally, this is what does most of the sweeping i find. The Ice/Fighting combination hits hard, particularly with Nasty Plots backing it, and hits every type for at least Neutral Damage. Wish can be Baton Passed, particularly helpful for Drifblim, allowing him to continue setting up Substitutes. 200 Hp EVs, again, allows the Stealth Rock switch ins and maximum Leftovers recovery. Its defenses are already fairly solid, so i invested EVs in SpDef instead, especially considering possible Iron Defense boosts. I'm not sure whether the Speed EVs are necessary or better spent in other areas, however, after a single Rock Polish or unburden boost it reaches into the 400s (416).

I really thought the EV spreads through and calculated them as best i could (although in most cases i can't remember the reasoning behind them) and tried to create imaginative sets. I'd appreciate any criticism/advice or anything that you're willing to give.

I apologise for the length by the way.

Alright let's go pokemon by pokemon

First, Scizor:

Really if it's your lead, then it fucks up your team due to Gyra starts and after a DD will sweep this team.

Togekiss: Fine
Gliscor and Smeargle: Why 2 physical baton passers? You can't rely on these guys after a Taunt

Drifblim: Wow, unburden owns with leftovers. Make Drifblim Timid and have it sweep with a calm mind. If drifblim gets max speed and it's abilty activates it will have 400+ speed. That outspeeds it's common counters such as Weavile, and other dark types. Drifblim makes a good sweeper

Scizor lead? Have you seen the most popular leads lately? If not, go to shoddy battle and look at the statistics, and think about who you lead with, as it could cause you the game.

you may have slight problems with Heracross when Togekiss dies. Opt for Aerial ace.

Throw on Aura Sphere, and take out that baton pass. You can't rely on things such as baton chains.

I like the creativity, however apicot berry? If you want him to sweep go with salac, it may be the birth of a great sweeper.

You need spore! SR/spikes don't hurt your team too badly, you can live with them. Sleep renders a pokemon useless...

I apologise for the length by the way.

Your team is good, but it can be better. If your planning to play OU, I suggest revamping your team completely. I would do that now, but i'm exhausted. I just figured i'd throw my two cents in.

Really if it's your lead, then it fucks up your team due to Gyra starts and after a DD will sweep this team.
I was rather unsure who to go for as my lead actually. I went for Scizor due to his resistances, and X-scissor takes out the likes of Weavile quickly enough. As for Gyarados, i never thought about that to be honest. Although Iron defenses increase my defense quicker than he can his Attack, so it takes away the point.

Gliscor and Smeargle: Why 2 physical baton passers? You can't rely on these guys after a Taunt
Just because they offer different things. I need Smeargle for the Ingrain, Rapid Spin is extra if i can get it. Gliscor brings Rock Polishes. I was concerned about Gliscor having Earthquake as its only for of offense, should i replace it with a better move perhaps?

Make Drifblim Timid and have it sweep with a calm mind. If drifblim gets max speed and it's abilty activates it will have 400+ speed
I dont think it needs that much Speed, at the minute he'll outrun a Bulkydos with no DDs and has T-Bolt for that. After Unburden he outspeeds the same 'dos with two DDs. I might change Shadow ball for Calm Mind though, for the SpDef boost more than anything. Also, the extra Speed EVs would eat from his defences, which is unwanted.

I know, i found that out after i made the team. Still better than Aftermath though, and allows for the Substitute to get in quicker.
