RMT OU

Hey everybody, this team will be used in my platnium once i get it and it is currently being used for my shoddy battle team. This team actually helps me out. You will see some common and maybe uncommon move sets and evs in here.

The Lead

Ambipom (Flea) w/ Silk Scarf
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Technician
Evs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 Hp
Moveset:
Fake Out
Aerial Ace
U-Turn
Brick Break

My lead. Ambipom first, flinches with fake out. Once thats done I will either u-turn my way out or keep fighting. Brick break is for those annoying steel types and Aerial Aceis for coverage against those nasty grass, bug and to help fight off ghost types. Ambipom is a big annoyer in my team.

The Special Wall
slowking.png

Slowking w/ Leftovers
Nature: calm
Ability: Own Tempo
Evs: 200 HP/ 56 SpA/ 252 SpD
Moveset:
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunderwave
Slack Off

My special wall. Own tempo is so I don't get confused. I gave it 200 Hp so it can survive hits from more physical pokemon. 56 SpA so it can still pack a decent punch. He is also my SpA Salamence counter. Surf is for stab and Ice Beam is for coverage. Thunderwave is there for obvious reasons and because I felt my team needed it. Slack off is abviously for HP reasons. Yes, I know he's in uu but he still makes for an effective wall.

The Defensive Tank
Gliscor.png

Gliscor w/ Leftovers
Adamant
Hyper Cutter
252 HP/ 40 Def/ 216 Spe
Moveset:
Ice Fang/Fire Fang
Earthquake
Roost
Stealth Rock

Ok, so this moveset allows me to switch on someone who wouldn't be to good against it, stealth rock on the switch and just go from there. The perfect counter for some ou pokemon like sala, tyranitar, and dragonite. Roost is for hp reasons. Also Fire fang can be used for Skarmory because I have been having some troubles with him lately. The evs allow gliscore to survive any big physical hit that comes its way. His Speed evs allow it to outrun pokemon troubling pokemon such as a nuetral speed Lucario. I have also been having trouble with Heatran lately and this set allows it to easily outrun a Heatran

Physical Beast of Nature
scizor.png

Scizor (Rezon) w/ Life Orb
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Technician
Evs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 Def
Moveset:
Swords Dance
Bullet Punch
X-Scissor/Roost
Brick Break

My favorite pokemon. Scizor is one of my main strikers. Jolly nature helps with the speed. I didn't choose adamant because of swords dance. Once swords dance + Technician make bullet punch have a big hit on pokemon. X-Scissor is there for stab and Brick breakk is there for coverage. I usually send him out a little later in the game to help finish off some of the already damaged pokemon. i was also thinking of Roost to help heal life orb damage
The Evil and Deadly Ghost
Gengar.png

Gengar (Boo) w/ Wide Lens
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
Evs: 252 SpA/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP
Moveset:
Hynosis
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast

Yes, the basic Gengar set. I chose Wide Lens because it'll help with the poor accuracy of hynosis and focus blast. Gengar pretty much covers all the types it needs to. Not much else to really say here...
The Devastater
286.png

Breloom (Devastater) w/ Toxic Orb
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Poison Heal
Evs:252 Atk/ 220 Spe/ 36 HP
Moveset:
Swords Dance
Seed Bomb
mach Punch
Spore

A good Physical sweeper. Send him out on a weak pokemon then, expecting a switch who could pound breloom, uses spore. if he stays asleep or switches I will use a swords dance and go from there. Mach punch helps it go first and, with the boosted power and stab, gives it a beastly hit. Seed bomb is there for stab and for those slower, more annoying pokemon. The 220 Speed evs give it enough speed to outrun a low evd Gliscore and a non evd Gyarados. I gave the rest of the evs to HP so it can take a little blow at least.

yes so, this is my team. This team (on shoddy at least) has helped me out alot. Yes there are some weaknesses so please rate harshley and if you have any advice on mvoe sets or even pokemon switches. Go ahead and
say.

Firstly, I agree with ^^ that guy. I run an Ambipom Taunt lead and it really screws leads over. Get rid of Aerial Ace for that. I don't know why you would choose Aerial ace over normal STAB or Payback.

Ok next. I love Slowking, But I don't understand why you put 200 HP Ev's instead of 212 and said "It will help physical attackers more". When no, less HP doesn't help against physical attackers. Go and change that 56 SAtk to 44 and HP to 212.

Ok. For Scizor Jolly is a no no. These days more and more Scizors are running less and less speed and more HP and Special defense to survive those un STABed HP Fires running around. You really dont need the speed, i suggest putting 32 speed into HP and changing to Adamant nature, for more bulk and power. The reason is because you actually want to be slower than Skarm so you can brick break for 2* when he roosts.

These days, even with wide lens Hypnosis is a no no. I like what you are trying, but due to Gengars lack of bulk, 66% doesn't cut it. I suggest running Explosion to kill of Pisseys, or DB so you dont have to predict as much and dont have to change EVs.

Hope I helped

Agreed, apart from the comment about payback. Taunt over AA, since it really does make a difference, especially against leads such as Metagross, and Bronzong.

OK, I'm going to suggest a completely new set for the Scizor on your team to provide harder hitting power and more Physical bulk.
Scizor @ Choice Band
Nature:Adamant
Trait: Technician
EVs: Atk - 252; HP-40; Def-216
Superpower
U-turn
Pursuit
Bullet Punch

This set is so phreaking powerful, you wouldn't know it unless you used it. Just as an example of the power here, U-turn does minimum 43% to max physical defence Bronzong. The EV's in HP and Defence allow Scizor to reach 291 HP and 290 Def, which is pretty bulky and allows it to take Outrages with relative ease.

These days, even with wide lens Hypnosis is a no no. I like what you are trying, but due to Gengars lack of bulk, 66% doesn't cut it. I suggest running Explosion to kill of Pisseys, or DB so you dont have to predict as much and dont have to change EVs.
OK, Gengar. The set you've been running is really a waste of Gengar's potential. You could run a substitute set instead to ensure hard hitting at minimal risk. Keep the Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt, replace F-blast for F-Punch for those annoying Blisseys, and give him Lefties to hold instead.
Hope I helped, and good luck with the team.xD

Silk Scarf boosts the power of Normal Moves by 10%. Why would you use this item on ampibom if he is not using any normal type moves?? I suggest replacing it with life orb for extra damage. Or maybe lum berry to screw up statusers with taunt + lum berry.

Other than that pretty well built team.

Ambipom does have a normal move-- namely fake out. Ambipom doesn't generally stay in for very long, so maybe life orb would be a better option.
