I have my ds confiscated until exams are over but am trying it out on smogon. I find that it cannot really end games, perhaps i need another sweeper? I am thinking articuno should have another moveset, leaving roar to another pokemon.
In many battles, I found that I am down to my last few pokes, whom are all defensive. RMT please!
Please give me suggestions! can't wait till i get my ds back.
Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spd
Lonely nature (+Atk, -Def)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake
Main sweeper. Its useful against stealth rockers and spikers since it can DD quite a few times and take down 3-4 pokes before dying. Ice fang can also counter Ninjask, the annoying baton passer. But against a ninjask i usually DD up until it baton passes. I will always have +1 speed since it wastes a turn passing.

Super fang is a good late game finisher as its quick and doesn't need much setup at all. In combo with Hypnosis, it kills a lot of pokes, however, hypnosis works about half the time. Aerial ace is for the assured kill because of its accuracy. Roost is self explanatory.
