Volcanion @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Steam Eruption
- Toxic
- Flamethrower
- Roar

This is the mon the team is built around. Seeing only specs Volcanion kind of disapointed me, so I wanted to try out defensive variant, turned out pretty well. I've tried several set, but this is the most effecive of all.
As for other Volcanion, Steam Eruption is the main damaging tool, very spammable and powerful, 50% burn on top of that, awesome move. Flamethrower is here as a second stab, to take down grass and steel types.
Volcanion completely walls Azumarill, Non EQ Charizard-X, Clefable, in addition of obvious bulky water type such as Vaporeon and Suicune while phazing them out / poison them.
It's a pretty decent check to Weavile, Keldeo, Talonflame, Breloom, Entei and M-Scizor...
And to some extent Heatran as well.

Sceptile @ Sceptilite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Pulse
- Giga Drain
- Focus Blast
- Leaf Storm

M-Sceptile is mainly here as an answer to Rotom-W switching into Volcanion. Once mega, effectively walling it completely, and either force it out or OHKO. It's a frail pokemon, but it fits well my kind of slow team, taking care of Keldeo, Tyranitar, Starmie, Slowbro (Quagsire), Gengar, OHKO all dragon in the tier bar M-Altaria and Latias after rocks.

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 48 HP / 252 SpA / 208 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 1 Atk / 30 SpA
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- Icy Wind

Classic Fire-Water-Grass core. Keldeo is here to take care of Lando-T, Garchomp, Ttar, Bisharp, Chansey, Gliscor, Weavile ...
EV Spread : Just enough speed to outspeed Timid max speed Garchomp
Very classic set, not need to elaborate much more, just an awesome mon

645-s.png

Landorus-Therian @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- U-turn

I needed a rocker and a solid mon to take Excadrills and other physical Ground mons that my Volcanion can't handle, so why not the best mon in OU. Classic defensive Lando-T made extra defensive to better take hits from other Lando, Choice Exca, physical M-Altaria, Terrakion, M-Beedrill, Torn-T whose my team have trouble handling.
Nothing more to say, very classic, fits every team.

530.png

Excadrill @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 40 SpD / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin

Scarf Drill is my main answer to fairy, OHKO every fairy ever bar Clefable, as well as my spinner, and my joker to hit pretty much everyone very hard.
Jolly nature do not guarantee OHKO on fully invested Rotom-W from full, but it allow him to outspeed and score a clean KO on M-Aerodactyl and M-Alakazam which pretty much 6-0 my team otherwise
He is also there to hit mons that my team can't handle very well such as Serperior, Zapdos, M-Lopp w/ Ice punch, M-Medicham before dying.
EV spread to outspeed M-Zam

248.png

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Fire Punch

Choice Band Ttar is my wallbreaker / trapper. It trap stuff and hit hard

MAJOR THREATS :
065-m.png

This guy is the bane of my team. It is faster than every thing bar Exca, and pretty much 6-0 me if Exca is dead.

308-m.png

Those two are the same deal. If Lando is dead I'm pretty much screwed. The strat is to switch in Lando on the Fake Out, then go Exca/Volcanion on the Ice Punch/Return/Zen Headbutt.
Something is gonna die unless the other guy screw up

The main issue is Exca being too pressured, as a lot of minor threats for my team are checked/RK by him. I also suck vs stall, but I guess it's not only a team issue

Feedback is appreciated !

Hey there! Neat team you got here! I've just got a few minor suggestions though!
  • Firstly, I feel that Hydro Pump deserves a spot on Keldeo's set because of the amount of KOs it can net. I think the best move it should replace is HP Electric, as most Water- and Flying-types are hit neutrally by its other moves, and I think a hard-hitting STAB move is greatly appreciated (Scald works, but it's not as strong) so that Keldeo can gain more KOs. I also think you should go for max Speed because the bulk isn't very helpful and I don't really know how it helps you in any way.

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hydro Pump
- Icy Wind
  • Secondly, you should run a spread of 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe on Tyranitar, as this allows you to outspeed Adamant Azumarill which would otherwise be quite annoying for your team. You might want to go for Earthquake > Crunch on Tyranitar because personally, running same-type moves is a bit unnecessary, especially when Tyranitar is missing out on a Ground-type STAB move. Pursuit, while weaker, is necessary to keep, as Keldeo greatly appreciates having Latios and Latias Pursuit-trapped. I'd also recommend changing Excadrill's set to Life Orb, as it greatly appreciates the sand Tyranitar brings, and since its Speed is doubled, a Choice Scarf is redundant. You could opt for Air Balloon if you'd like, just to escape Earthquake once.

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Fire Punch

Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin
  • Finally, most defensive Volcanion spreads use a bit of Speed to outpace Adamant Azumarill. After a bit of tinkering with the EVs on PS!, I think the best EV spread to use is 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe, as this allows to just outspeed it, while still retain a bit of bulk.

Volcanion @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Steam Eruption
- Toxic
- Flamethrower
- Roar
  • Fighting-types still look like a massive problem for your team, so going for Fire Blast > Flamethrower on Volcanion should help a bit, as the increase in damage is very significant and could perhaps achieve more KOs. You might also want to consider Chople Berry on Tyranitar, although this change will bring about a lot of other changes so I probably wouldn't recommend it, so as to not change the whole team.

Hope I helped :toast:

Hey, thanks for the feedback !
-I'll try Hpump since I hid very few situation where HP electric helped me

-Still not convinced about the EV spread, I did not bothered to check if that helps outspeeding reaaaaly low base speed scraf user ?

-I'll try the spread on Ttar, it sounds legit good, although Azu is not really a problem, since Volcanion can come in anything and Roar/Burn it, and M-Sceptile ouspeed and OHKO while 4x resisting his priority. Earthquake sounds like a good idea too ^^

-Switching Exca to LO makes me loose my only check to M-Zam and makes me weak to M-Garde when sand is not up/Ttar is dead. Mold breaker also allow me to hit Rotom and Lati@s whose my team lack options against

-Fire Blast would indeed help to guarantee OHKO on M-Heracross, other fighting types takes as much from Steam Eruption that they would from Fire Blast

-Not sure about the Volcanion spread, I'll try it out

I've considered switching Ttar for bulky SD Wisp Talonflame, as it patches out my weakness to M-Zam by OHKO him with priority bravebird, and forcing out both M-Lop and M-Medicham, while helping vs M-Venusaur/Amoongus

663.png

Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Swords Dance
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost

I'm still thinking about making it SpDef Bulk Up, as dropping Ttar makes me lose my only switch in to neutral special attacks, as well as making me weak to Zapdos
EDIT : Dropped SD Talonflame, testing SpD Bulk Up now
