RMT (Pretty New, Second Team Ever)

Hi, I'm still semi-new to the Metagame, and wanted the help from the experts, you guys at Smogon. Please don't kill me. >_<

Weavile @ Focus Sash
Adamant
Pressure
EV's: 252 Atk 252 Spd 4 HP
-Ice Punch
-Swords Dance
-Night Slash
-Brick Break

Leader. Weavile has to be the fastest Pokemon I've ever had, even if its nature is neutral for Speed. Ice Punch for Dragons and such, it's standard. I have Swords Dance because the Focus Sash will at least let me get one good hit out before I go down.

Salamence @ Yache Berry
Adamant
Intimidate
EV's: 252 Atk 252 Spd 4 HP
-Dragon Dance
-Dragon Claw
-Aerial Ace/ ?
-Earthquake

Physical Sweeper. I opted Dragon Claw over Dragon Rush for the accuracy, and Dragon Dance can cause some chaos when paired with Dragon Claw. I have Aerial Ace for another STAB move, but not sure if I should keep it with the fact I have a Togekiss. Earthquake is there for a surprise attack. It helps against Tyranitar too, which is a bonus.

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold
Water Absorb
EV's: 252 HP 252 Sp. Atk 4 Def
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Wish
-Protect

Special Wall/Semi-Special sweeper. Surf takes out Rock and Ground type threats, as well as my Infernape weakness. Is also fun to embarass people who attempt to counter Donphan with a Water or Ice attack, although it'll require a bit of prediction. Wish to heal and Protect to stall in bad spots.

Magnezone @ Life Orb
Modest
Sturdy (Of course)
EV's: 252 HP 252 Sp. Atk 4 HP
-Thunderbolt
-Flash Cannon
-Toxic
-Magnet Rise

I know, Magnezone with a Life Orb. But, if up against Gyrados and Milotic, among others, it'll deal more damage, and help. Magnet Rise is obvious, and Flash Cannon is a filler move. Toxic is to annoy opponents.

Donphan @ Lefties
Impish
Sturdy
EV's: 252 Def 252 HP 4 Atk
-Fire Fang
-Roar
-Stealth Rock
-Rapid Spin

Fire Fang is to get rid of Bronzongs, to get that out of the way. Stealth Rock and Roar is a good combo in my book. Rapid Spin is so I have a spinner. Help here, I'm new to Defensive walls.

Togekiss @ Wise Glasses
Modest
Serene Grace
EV's: 252 Spd 252 Sp.Atk 4 HP
-Thunder Wave
-Air Slash
-Focus Blast
-Roost/?

Paraflincher. Togekiss is a good sweeper and is quite fast, so it's like a two-in-one. I'm not really that knowledgable with Togekiss, so help's appreciated here also.

My team is designed around the Take Them Out Quick kinda mind set, with some statuses thrown in to mess them up here and there.

Well, this is my first team rate, so don't go all crazy on me, alright mods?

Well, first of all, you have three pokemon weak to ice. (Salamence, Donphan, Togekiss). The same apllies to electric. (Salamence, Vaporeon, and Togekiss). Well, as Magnezone is the only poke with Ice/Electric resist, your team could potentially go down quickly if a BoltBeamer comes once Magnezone dies.

Also, why Sturdy over Magnet Pull? Magnet Pull has a lot more utility in the metagame for trapping steel types.

You are also lacking a special wall. Strong special walls include Milotic, Blissey, and Snorlax.

I can't help much, but this is all I've got so far. Good luck with your team. I'll help more if I can.

Sturdy is inferior on Magnezone in EVERY possible situation, especially considering OHKO moves are currently banned. A lot of people will try to switch out of trappers reflexively. Flash cannon is a bad choice on Magnezone, HP ice is better for coverage. Substitute over toxic will help you set up for extra damage after you've killed trapped steels.

Pretty good team for a person who has started to just play pokemom, congrats. This team does have some issues though, such as opposing Weavile and Mamoswine. Replacing Togekiss would be ideal here, for something like a Bronzong, or a Bulky Water, such as Swampert, who is able to handle Mamoswine, and helping your Heatran weak here too. You could always go Bronzong, but then ScarfTran would become problems, so I would like how Swampert looks here. I would really consider making Swampert a lead here, to set up Stealth Rocks early game, and leave Weavile for some late game.

You could possibly see some Synrengy in this team, Magnezone + Weavile can work magic here, and so could the Dragon here, but I would change Salamence to a Garchomp, with Magnezone, you can eliminate things such as Bronzong, and make a clean sweep with Weavile + Garchomp. Magnezone wants Magnet Pull in order to be successful. Donphan should be able to take some blows, but if you don't feel confident enough, then just put a Gliscor over him, but Toxic Spikes will eat you, so replacing Vaporeon with Starmie and Donphan with Gliscor should work.
