RMT: Pro_Edge's First Ever

Hello I'm new to the site. I have a team which I want people to rate please.

Dragonite / Adament / Choice Scarf
Inner Focus
EV Spread: 252 Att / 252 Speed / 6 Hp

Moveset:

-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Fire Punch
-Iron Tail

This is my sweeper, It has enough Attack because it is of an Adament Nature so I put a Choice Scarf on it to boost it's speed. This makes it the ultimate Sweeper. It has great speed whilst having very good attack. Dragon Claw is obviously for all the other Dragon Type Sweepers, Earthquake is for Fire/Rock/Electric Pokemon. Fire Punch is to take out any Grass Types and Iron Tail packs a punch for Ice/Rock Types. I have considered Dragon Dance but if that was the case I think a Dragon Claw Garchomp would take it down instantly.
-------------------------------------------
469.png

Rhyperior / Impish / Leftovers
Solid Rock
EV Spread: 252 Hp / 252 Def / 6 Att

Moveset:

-Megahorn
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
-Avalanche

An Attacking Tank/Wall. The Ev's are placed on HP and Defense to bulk it up and the remaining 6 are dumped on Attack to boost it up. In terms of moves Megahorn is to take out Grass types that are a potential threat for Rhyperior as it is x4. Stone Edge is for Charizard. Avalanche is a very good move for Rhyperior because it always attacks second because of its rubbish speed. Earthquake is both strong and reliable.
-------------------------------------
227.png

Skarmory / Impish / Leftovers
Keen Eye
Ev Spread : 252Hp / 96 Att / 156 Def / 4 Speed

Moveset:

-Spikes
-Drill Peck
-Roar
-Roost

Annoyer. Spikes are automatically used first. If the other person switches in a Fire Type Roar is used. Drill Peck is their for any attacks Skarmory needs to make and Roost is to regain health to stop it fainting. Hp and Defense have the most Ev'sm and Attack has some too.
---------------------------------------
143.png

Snorlax / Careful / Leftovers
Thick Fat
Ev Spread: 220 Hp / 52 Def / 236 Sp

Moveset:

-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Crunch
-Fire Blast

This Snorlax will be very tough to take out. With I split Ev's between Hp and Defense and the rest were dumped onto the useless Speed.
Rest and Sleep Talk are a Good combination. Crunch is there to take out Ghost and Psychic pokemon that could possibly hinder Snorlax. Also Fire Blast is a powerful move.
-------------------------------------
121.png

Starmie / Modest / Choice Specs
Natural Cure
Ev Spread: 4 Hp / 252 Sp.Att / 252 Speed

Moveset:

-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Grass Knot
-Thunderbolt

An Allround special attacking Pokemon. Very Fast and has very good Sp.Att.
It has moves of different types so It can counter all Pokemon. But a different Item may be needed. Ice beam is their for pesky Dragon Types. Grass Knot is there for Heavy Pokemon that we always come across. And thunderbolt can tackle Flying type Pokemon.
---------------------------------------
434.png

Mismagius / Calm / Leftovers
Levitate
Ev Spread: 252HP / 56 Def / 216 Speed

Moveset:

-Toxic
-Protect
-Shadow Ball
-Psychic

A Toxi-Block. The tactics are obvious. Use Toxic First then Protect so the Toxic gets worse. Then use an attacking move to deplete the opponents HP then Protect again. This is usually enough to take it down.
Speed and Hp allow this to happen.
----------------------------------------
As I am (Obviously) a newbie I would like some help editing this team.
There we are! Done.

What does Iron Tail do on dragonite besides hitting Aero for SE damage (which your other moves can't do)?

On Misdreavious, go HP Fighting over Psychic for better coverage...

SpecsStar is extremely fragile and only really can be safely switched in after one of your pokemon dies, which is what Dragonite is supposed to do, and sense Dragonite is weak to Stealth Rocks, go for a rapid spin starmie

Then you can ditch Rhyperior for some form of sweeper

Yeah, edited. Just noticed that he was scarved. Doesn't matter though, FSVile is alot better, and so is Fakeoutvile, maybe use a SR Azelf, in which you can combo sr and spikes damage.

Try out the Curselax, as ResTalk lax has nothing on Curselax.

Looks alright, although if your looking for a staller, Stallrein is always superior over it.

Actually, Stallrein is only worth it in Hail conditions. Either way that set's not very good, Mismagius can't really take physical hits and a smart opponent could easy switch out to a counter whilst you Protect. You might try the Sub/CM set.

Iron Tail is pretty useless. You might try another elemental punch in that last slot to hit a specific threat- thunderpunch for Gyara and ice punch for other dragons/Gliscor.

Roar's not going to deal with Fire types unless you predict, just fyi. Luckily you have a Thick Fat pokemon to go to.

Get rid of those speed EVs and put them in stats that actually matter for Snorlax.

The team needs work but it's salvageable I suppose.

Dragonite: it's Adamant. Outrage over Dragon Claw your obviously stuck with one move thanks to Choice Scarf. Outrage is 1.5 times more powerful and the only reason you should not be using Salamence over Dragonite. Iron Tail is wrong i mean your saying for ice/rock types and you already have this covered with Earthquake and Fire punch so there is no reason whatsoever to use it. i would go with the one in this site's analysis:

149.png

Dragonite @ Choice Scarf
Naughty Evs: 252 Atk / 74 SpA / 184 Spe
--Outrage
--Earthquake
--Fire Blast
--Draco Meteor

Rhyperior:
Seems fine but you need Sandstorm support if you want it to work best. Besides you already have Skarmory as your physical wall.
CB gross will work fine as it will take Skarmbliss down as i think it might give you troubles.

376.png

Metagross @ Choice Band
Adamant EVs: 244 Atk / 252 HP / 12 Def
--Meteor Mash
--Earthquake
--Explosion
--Thunder Punch/Bullet Punch

Skarmory:
Max the defense and the HP. SD luke can rape the entire team so you might need the hp.Also Whirlwind>Roar

Snorlax:
Try running return over crunch or fire blast. If your keeping fire blast run Sassy nature.

Starmie: i would run Rapid spin set to counter gyrados look at the analysis.

Mismagius: Perish trap annoys best

hope i helped

Darkartisan stop rating teams please, your arguments are questionable at best and baffling to to say the least.

First off, Iron Tail is completely useless on Dragonite and even more when its Holding a Choice Scarf. Earthquake has them handled already. I would opt for Focus Punch over it. Letting you handle Steel types better. You are going to need some prediction skills though. Dragon Claw is fine Outrage isnt very good on a Scarf set since its more of a hit and run and Outrafe makes you pretty vounerable to Ice Sharder's. Now I have dabbling with the set and it seems like 48 Hp/252 Atk/ 204 Spe seem like a better EV spread letting you outspeed Agility Metagross and Choice Scarf Heracross, but not only that you can live a Jolly Weavile Ice Shard 100% with of the time while still keeping your Atk at max.

With Dragonite and Skarmory on your team Rhyperior seems pretty redundant. It dosent got well with your team at all. I dont see it bringing anything to the table other than coming in or Rock attacks aimed at Dragonite wich Skarmory can take pretty well already. Rhyperior also dosent help the huge Life Orb Suicune problem your team has. I would suggest a replacement but i want to hear your thoughts about it first. I'm sure you might not agree but it for the best.

I see the Skarmory, Snorlax and Starmie defensive combination your running. The only thing I might suggest is to switch Spikes for Stealth Rock. Gyarados and Salamence are pretty big threats and you might want to focus on them instead of Focus Sasher's. Pretty standard so not much else to say.

I dont even know why that Snorlax set is listed on the analysis its crap.

Yeah, I kinda had to run so figured I would get the rate or at least give him a little bit of advice. Let me give him a better analysis. Hey Eersnot, good job saying iron tail is worthless after about 3 people said it.

anyways: I notice that Deoxys can be quite a problem for your team. Superpower may not Ohko Snorlax (I didn't run calcs) but once Your lax is gone you are in some deep trouble. To solve this problem, may I suggest a Dugtrio?

Dugtrio stops those steels that can otherwise be an annoyance to your team. Snorlax wants Body slam anyways, because you could use some status, and Body slam on Restalklax is pretty much a must, in which that set gets ran by steels, which is when you send in Dugtrio to finish them off.

Dragonite isn't a good lead, maybe I should repeat that again. It it still outsped by pretty much anything that carries a scarf and gets hit pretty hard by quite a few things. I don't understand why you Run Dnite anyways. Since Garchomp is gone Salamence is the superior Dragon choice. I also still think that Gengar walks all over Mismagius anyways.

Eersnot stop rating teams please, Learn to spell and not repeat what was said before.
