XY OU [RMT] Punching the bag

Hello, I have only recently had the time to start playing competitively.
And I came up with the following team:

Importable :

Wobbuffet @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Counter
- Destiny Bond
- Mirror Coat
- Encore

Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Transform

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- ExtremeSpeed

Heracross @ Heracronite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Rock Blast
- Pin Missile
- Bullet Seed

Talonflame @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Facade
- Flare Blitz
- Aerial Ace

Trevenant @ Lum Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Destiny Bond
- Trick Room
- Rest

Wobbuffet @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Counter
- Destiny Bond
- Mirror Coat
- Encore

A fairly standard Wobuffet set. I love its ability to trap those pure attackers and make them suffer. It has synergy with Travenet that it can benefit from TR after a round of trapping. This allows it to cast a priority Destiny Bond. Encore helps me make sure that I know what my opponent is gonna use. On the off chance that I catch him using a stat booster like Sword Dance, i can switch to Ditto and kill the threat.

Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Transform

So with the coming of mega evolutions, Ditto holds a special place in most of my teams. A scarfed ditto outspeeds nearly whatever it transforms from and can even transform into a mega. Having excellent synergy with Wobuffet which tends to trap pokemon in stat increasing skills, it can easily become a monster. [I have swept too many mega scizor teams using this guy + wobuffet]

250px-149Dragonite.png

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- ExtremeSpeed

I chose the choice band set as I wanted a pokemon to just come in and start hitting hard. Being my lead pokemon, its job is to cause unrest for my opponent. STAB Dragon Claw hits like a truck. Most steel types feel the power of Fire Punch/Earthquake [I'm looking at you Heatran]. ExtremeSpeed is used for revenge killing and is by now means week. It has the ability to do complete sweeps on a weakened team. Multiscale is an OP ability. Since I start off with this guy generally, I tend to nearly always trigger it as well.

600px-214Heracross-Mega.png

Heracross @ Heracronite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Rock Blast
- Pin Missile
- Bullet Seed

My mega. i chose Heracross due to its ability to break subs. I prefer to switch him into weaker opponents to gain the +Atk from Moxie before I mega it. Pin Missille is a STAB attack that hits hard, I mean seriously hard. Bullet seed and rock blast are for coverage with i dont tend to use Close Combat in mega state, it has come in handy a lot.

250px-663Talonflame.png

Talonflame @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-Turn
- Flare Blitz
- Tailwind

Alright so , I realize I am carrying 3 choice users, but they work. TalonFlame to a good extent is a 1 trick pony and choice band helps in using that trick to no end. A band BB is extremely powerful. I have seen it 2HKO a Slowbro. Facade is for the off chance of Poison. [I prefer BB for paralysis as well]. I dunno why I carry Aerial Ace, but Flame Blitz kills most steel in 1 Hit.

250px-145Zapdos.png

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpA
Bold Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Roost
- Defog
- Heat Wave

250px-709Trevenant.png

Trevenant @ Lum Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Destiny Bond
- Trick Room
- Rest
- Wood Hammer

I was using it for lolz when I realized just how good this thing is. with a Lum Berry, this guy can tank most things. Trick Room is for setting up Destiny Bond and for Wobuffetts DB as well. WH benefits from its ability to rest regaining the lost HP.

As such, I dont have a lot of problems with the team but would like sugesstions to improve the team.

Talonflame @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- U-Turn
- Flare Blitz
- Tailwind

I would make these two changes. Facade and Aerial Ace are not going to be used much, if at all. U-Turn is very helpful because it allows you to scout the other team and gain momentum. It can also help you accumulate chip damage over the course of a match. Tailwind may seem like an odd choice, but a priority Tailwind can help Mega Heracross or Dragonite finish off the other team later in the game.

Heracross @ Heracronite
Ability: Moxie
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

- Close Combat
- Rock Blast
- Pin Missile
- Swords Dance / Substitute

I would adjust Mega Heracross to look like this. The meta has adapted to Mega Heracross, and faster sets that can still hit very hard. This EV spread gives you one of the better combination of bulk, power and speed out there. I would use Substitute or Swords Dance over Bullet Seed, as Mega Heracross' other moves allow it to get past the few things one would use Bullet Seed on. Rotom-W is 2HKOed by Close Combat, and Azumarill is 2HKOed by Rock Blast. The difference between Swords Dance and Substitute comes down to what types of teams you want to beat more. Swords Dance allows you to absolutely demolish stall teams, however Substitute gives it better match-ups against offensive teams. The meta is currently very offensive, so Substitute may be a better choice.

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- ExtremeSpeed

More speed would help you here as well. Multiscale gives you more than enough bulk, and the added speed would be helpful in in more situations than the added bulk. Dragonite's base 80 speed tier isn't great, but it's enough to still outpace the slower meta threats with investment.

I would outright replace Trevenant. It has no real use in OU whatsoever, and there are other things your team needs more. Trick Room and Destiny Bond is also extremely gimmicky, and requires a lot of things to go right to net kills. Your team is also very physically-based, and lacking in hazard removal, so I would recommend LO Starmie or bulky Latias to try and fix this.

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Roost

Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin

Either of these sets add two things your team is sorely missing. Both provide a source of special attacking power, which you currently have none of. Latias gives you a weapon for checking some common threats that might otherwise hurt your team. Starmie, on the other hand, gives you strong special attacks that could help your team get by physical walls such as Gliscor and Skarmory. I would strongly recommend replacing Trevenant with one of the two, because Dragonite and Talonflame absolutely require Stealth Rock being gone to be used to their full potential.

Bird spam wrecks this team. You can trap talonflame or pinsir but they can SD or u turn out. You can encore them, but you switch out and they switch out.

Trevenant isn't doing too much, so I suggest defensive zapdos to defog and also check birdspam.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpA
Bold Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Roost
- Defog
- Heat Wave/ Toxic/ HP Ice

@Celtripe
Thanx for the input.
I'll switch the Skills for talonflame.
While I will agree to the change in EVs for Heracross, I dont wish to drop bullet seed precisely because of the pokemon u stated. Being able to OHKO most of the meta is a big plus.
I don't wish to change dragonite much. The meta is full of too many fast pokemon making the extra speed nearly useless. I prefer the bulk to use dragon claw against bulky stuff while using ExtremeSpeed on faster stuff.

Leremyju
I havent had the bird spam problem yet. Having a scarfed out Ditto means that SD users are just setting up for full sweep of their own team. they cannot prevent me from switching in ditto BTW.
I'll take on ur suggestion of changing Trevenant for zapdos though seems like an excellent set.

If you are finding success with ditto, go ahead. I also recommend running trick on latias if you are using zapdos.
