[RMT] Rain Team

Lately it has been hard for me to build an stable team (i'm kinda new to competitive), so i started experimenting with Weather Teams and i got a winner here! this is my most successfull team atm and i wanted you guys to meet it

Let's start with the responsible of the existence of this team

Politoed
(M) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
-
Scald
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Psychic

Reason i chose him:
Well there isn't too much to explain, he's the one who puts the weather going, i gave him a damp rock to make the rain last the longest as possible damn you weather nerf.. Scald is a good STAB move with 80 BP and the chance of burning the target along with the rain boost it reaches approximately 240 BP which is not bad considering the Sp. Atk of this kawaii frog, the other three moves are mostly for coverage.

Latios
@ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Grass Knot
- Thunderbolt

Reason i chose him:
He, along with cloyster and possibly Togekiss is one of the sweepers in my team, i chose him because of some of the synergy he gives to my team (electric and grass resistance), Life Orb gives him a good boost to his attacks, i considered this over choice specs because of the freedom the Life Orb gives him so he doesn't get stuck in one attack, Draco Meteor and Psyshock are his STAB moves, while i try my best to use Draco Meteor only to finish off opponents that don't resist it or are in low health and obliterate most Dragon Types, Psyshock is to check special walls like Blissey and Tentacruel. Grass Knot and Thunderbolt are for coverage for Ground, Water, Rock and Flying Types.

Togekiss
@ Weakness Policy
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Air Slash
- Thunder Wave
- Grass Knot
- Flamethrower
Reason i chose him:
Well i had my doubts with this one because i considered Gastrodon for the job, although Gastrodon has an amzing ability in Storm Drain, it x4 weakness to grass worried me so i looked for something else, and i found this guy that i didn't use since Platinum, he takes care of fast threats that are not called Krookodile, Garchomp or Dugtrio by Paralizing them.
Air slash is to compliment the paralized status with ParaFlinch, Grass Knot and Flamethrower take care of Scizor, Hippowdon or not fully sp.def invested Tyranitar OHKO or 2HKOing them most of the time. Because of his decent bulk Weakness Policy works great on it, i know he isn't as bulky as other WP users like Aegislash or Dragonite, but he does his part well and if you're already paralyzed, Togekiss will ParaFlich you to death, which takes two hits most of the time depending of your defenses or typing.

Ferrothorn
(M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
-
Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Protect

Reason i chose him:
He's the mixed Wall of my team, se can take anything that isn't a fire type move like a champ, even then, rain halves fire type attacks' power by 50% meaning a OHKO is less than likely, Leftovers is the common item for him and along with leech seed i can force switches most of the time. Stealth Rock is my Hazard of prefference since nothing is immune to it so flying types and levitating pokes aren't safe from it, protect is used mostly to gain free health and maybe save his ass in an emergency.

Cloyster
(M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
-
Shell Smash
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Surf
Reason i chose him:
He's the main sweeper of my team, one shell smash is enough to KO almost anything non-resistant to Ice or Rock, and if my opponent decides to use him as a setting up bait, i can just shell smash again and make Cloyster reach a terrifying 867 Atk and 786 Speed with a great 555 Sp.Atk, Focus sash gives him the chance to set up and outspeed a lot of things, a boosted Icicle Spear can easily 2HKO Garchomp and even non-defensive Talonflame. Rock Blast takes care of Lapras in 5 Hits, Surf is situational and works better in rain, so i don't use it a lot.

Tentacruel
(M) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Sp.Def / 4 Spd
Calm Nature
-
Rapid Spin
- Toxic
- Scald
- Protect
Reason i chose him:I was deciding between him and Stermie for a good spinner, but with 2 great attackers on my team and only one truly defensive one i felt like my team was a little disbalanced, so i chose Tentacruel for my spinner, he brings support by Rapid Spin and getting rid of Hazards while Toxic slowly kills the non-steel enemy. Te great combination of Black Sludge + Rain Dish gives him good recovery and with protect i can get free health, and a lot of it, Scald is to burn attackers while doing damage.

what do you guys think of my Team? is it good? should i replace anything?

Hey Riygan, nice rain team you got there. Just some ideas you might want to consider:

Politoed: Based on the EV distribution, your trying to make him a Bulky Special Attacker, but that just isn't him, especially with the nerf to weather, he is forced to carry a Damp Rock instead of Leftovers which severely cripples his longevity. If you want him to be bulky, change the EVs to 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD and his nature from Modest < Bold. Also, his moveset should be Scald, Ice Beam, Protect and Toxic. If you want him to just hit stuff, at least drop Focus Miss Blast for Toxic to give someone a parting status before getting KO'd.

Latios: Why not run Choice Specs > Life Orb. This would then allow you to run Trick > Grass Knot. Grass Knot seems to only be useful against Bulky Water Types and most of them won't want to come in a Specs powered Draco Meteor anyway so it seems kind of redundant. If you insist on running Life Orb, then at least consider Roost > Grass Knot as the Life Orb recoil will stack up if your not careful, putting you in Revenge Kill Priority move range.

Ferrothorn: Just change the EVs from 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 Spd to give him massive Special Bulk along with his already natural Physical Bulk.

Cloyster: Though I'm not a fan of him, at least change his nature from Jolly < Naive. In the event you do need to use Surf, you at least want to be hitting at fully power which a Jolly Nature inhibits.

Tentacruel: Nice Choice and Set. However, the EVs need to be 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 Spe. 16 Spe EVs allows you to outrun Jolly Breloom, Jolly Skarmory, Adamant Dragonite, Adamant Gyarados and Modest Heatran.

Lastly, drop Togekiss < Aegislash. The one thing your team is missing is a Spin Blocker and who better than someone who can double as a Mixed Wallbreaker. Especially since its a rain team, fire attacks won't be as effective, allowing for more longevity. This also allows you to run Automize Weakness Policy or Air Balloon if you really want to be an annoyance to your opponent while launching 200+ EV powered Shadow Ball attacks at your opponent. I say 200+ because I don't know how much EVs are needed to take out Sandstream users like Hippowdon with Shadow Ball or Tyranitar with Sacred Sword and my stupid cpu isn't cooperating at the moment XD

Anyways, let me know what you think?
