VGC RMT - Regulation H Doubles Scarf Baxcalibur Hyper Offense & Trick Room Counter

:Incineroar:
Big Joey (Incineroar) @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 244 HP / 8 Atk / 148 Def / 108 SpD
Careful Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Fake Out
- Knock Off
- Parting Shot
One of the best or the best support Pokémon of this regulation currently. It hits decently hard while also being able to use intimidate to make the thing astronomically bulky. Incineroar's water tera helps it resist its weaknesses, it gains electric and grass weaknesses which can be delt with by Ursaluna or Incineroar itself.

:Baxcalibur:
No Flame (Baxcalibur) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Thermal Exchange
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 84 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 12 SpD / 156 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Glaive Rush
- High Horsepower
This Pokémon hits very hard easily getting one-shots on many other Pokémon. It out speeds most of the format with choice scarf as the item and minimal EVs added to it's speed. The ability also helps it boost its attack when hit by fire moves which is one of its main weaknesses.

:Palafin-Hero:
Palafin @ Mystic Water
Ability: Zero to Hero
Level: 50
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Jet Punch
- Wave Crash
- Flip Turn
- Protect
A standard choice in this format for physical offense. With Zero to Hero it gives it many stat boosts helping it hit for huge damage with its neutral or super-effective attacks. Water tera type helps it gain more STAB bonus for its moves. Mystic water gives all its moves a small boost as well.

:Amoonguss:
Amoonguss @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 50
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 236 HP / 144 Def / 12 SpA / 116 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Protect
- Spore
- Rage Powder
- Sludge Bomb
Amoonguss helps with redirection and bulky support. It's bulk is similar to Incineroar, helping it take hits with rage powder. It also has spore to put Pokémon to sleep and can be a real threat in trick room.

:Sylveon:
Sylveon @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Pixilate
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 172 HP / 84 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
- Tera Blast
- Hyper Voice
- Quick Attack
- Protect
This Pokémon is chosen for good damage and fairy coverage against another Pokémon. The item of choice Pixie Plate helps its moves made into fairy type by it's ability Pixilate, do more damage exactly like mystic water. Tera fire helps tera blast cover Sylveon's metal weakness and can cover for grass as well if Ursaluna is brought to the battle.

:Ursaluna-Bloodmoon:
Ursaluna-Bloodmoon @ Life Orb
Ability: Mind's Eye
Level: 50
Tera Type: Normal
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 24 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Blood Moon
- Earth Power
- Hyper Voice
- Protect
This pokemon hits hard with Life Orb as it's item. Normal tera type helps its hyper voice and blood moon attacks get increased even more with STAB. Ursaluna's ability also helps it hit ghost types usually immune to all of it's normal type moves.

Got up to Ultra Ball tier from low tier 8 from season reset. Looking for any tips to improve this team! I also have a rental code if anyone wants to try it out as well. Rental Team Code: HKM47D

Heyo GraysonVGC, welcome to Smogon! I’d like to remind you to write at least three lines of explanation for each pokemon, and I’ll include some examples a bit later. Also, don’t forget to categorize this in the VGC category, so it’s obvious what tier this is supposed to be.

What does the Pokemon do?
Why was this Pokemon chosen?
What do the moves do?
What does the EV spread do?
What does the item do?
What does the Tera type do?
If important, what does the nature and ability do?
You can write more than 3 sentences btw

Now that you've fixed this, I'd like to provide weaknesses and changes. Just would like to note as well, but Choice Scarf Baxcalibur just doesn't really work. I'll provide certain examples and such later on, but let's go in depth on these weaknesses!

:archaludon:+:pelipper:+:basculegion:
This is probably the most potent core in the format, and sure you have ways to beat it, but they kinda get beat by others. Incineroar isn't great into this besides Tera+Knock Off into Basculegion. Archaludon wrecks Baxcalibur even though that does well into Pelipper. Palafin can take some hit but doesn't do much. Amoomguss actually does great here. Sylveon loses to Archaludon. And Ursaluna-BM does good into Archaludon but goes boom in front of Bascuelgion and Pelipper.

Otherwise the rest of your matchups are actually pretty good, as well as the team in general. I'm also going to try and keep Choice Scarf on Baxcalibur because that's cool lol.

Pokemon Changes

none this time

Other Changes

:incineroar:
Tera Water --> Tera Grass on Incineroar
This is specifically for the Rain matchup, and more so about Archaludon. You still beat Basculegion when you Tera, while also now resisting Electro Shot. A added bonus is if you get hit with Knock Off, then you can Tera and still avoid Spore.

EVs for Incineroar: 244 HP/68 SpDef/196 Spe Jolly
This EV spread has capability to outspeed max speed Timid Ursaluna-BM, while surviving max special attack Modest Pelipper Hurricane whilst Tera Grass. I'd say you can drop speed to more reliably KO Basculegion too.

:baxcalibur:
Unless the bulk does something, I suggest going 196 speed while with Choice Scarf to outspeed max speed Talonflame.

:palafin-hero:
One change is running Haze over Flip Turn. This removes boosts from Archaludon and Dondozo, as well as Annihilape. Actually, run Tera Grass Palafin. This beats Electro Shot. And on top of that, you can try Close Combat over Haze/Flip Turn to try and destroy Archaludon.

:amoonguss:
Drop Sludge Bomb, Amoonguss just doesn't deal enough damage. If you run CC Palafin, then run Clear Smog in that slot. If you run Haze Palafin, then use Protect in that slot on Amoonguss. The EVs should also be 236 HP/156 Def Bold Nature with the rest in SpDef, which lives Blood Moon from Ursaluna-BM.

:sylveon:
This is fine

:ursaluna-bloodmoon:
I'd suggest running 252 SpAtk/4 SpDef/252 Speed Modest/Timid on Ursaluna-BM for EVs.

Anyways that's all! Hope you enjoy.
