At a glance:
Azelf @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 SDef
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Fire Blast
- Explosion
Very standard, sets up Stealth Rock and tries to do a bit of damage.
---
Scizor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Bug Bite
- Bullet Punch
- Brick Break
Not #1 for no reason. He's meant to clean up later, when I can easily get a Swords Dance and sweep with Bullet Punch, and is fairly effective.
---
Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Overheat
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Dragon Pulse
Heatran absorbs Fire for Scizor and Metagross, while also functioning as a special sweeper. Honestly, Dragon Pulse was only because I couldn't figure out a legal IV set for HP Ice. I was experimenting with Overheat, but it seems like my team needs the emergency threat removal.
---
Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP/252 Def/58 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Wish
- Protect
- Ice Beam
Meant to pass Wishes to Tyranitar and Metagross, again a standard set. If Salamence is banned and Metagross doesn't work out to counter Gyarados, I'm likely going to switch Ice Beam to HP Electric.
---
Metagross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Thunderpunch
- Trick
- Grass Knot
- Psychic
I don't what you guys think of this but it has worked all right.
Basically I took Pokemon that I had trouble with, namely Gyarados, CM Suicune, Machamp, Swampert, and tried to get something that resisted Sandstorm while also being able to counter them. Thunderpunch is an OHKO on Gyarados, and with Choice Scarf I outspeed the Adamant ones after a Dragon Dance. Psychic is for (max HP) Machamp, which is an easy 2HKO or OHKO with some prior damage. The max Sp. Atk was to deal with Swampert, whom I OHKO with Grass Knot almost 100% of the time. Trick is to get rid of Choice Scarf once I eliminate one of the above and cripple a wall (or Suicune, who will be stuck with Surf that Vaporeon absorbs or Calm Mind).
---
Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/52 Atk/176 SAtk/28 SDef
Quiet nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Crunch
- Flamethrower
TyraniBoah - used to be a very effective SkarmBliss killer back in Adv. It's still pretty effective to eliminate some threats since Tyranitar can typically force switches ansd thus getting a Substitute up is not difficult. SubPunching from 101 HP subs kills Blissey, who my team also has some trouble taking down. However, I'm considering switching to something else or at least a different Tyranitar set just to see how well it works, especially a DDance/Pursuit type.

Thanks for looking at my team.
I'm open to critiscm, so no need to sugarcoat your comments in any way.
Just be honest with me please, and I'll try to be receptive to your suggestions.
