So I've been having a lot of fun with this team and it's been working out fairly well for me. I think the biggest issue I've run into is that having 3 knock off users is too much. The pokemon themselves are fine but I'm trying to figure out which knock off to trade out for another move.
Anyways, this is the team I've been playing with.
Chansey (F) @Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Aromatherapy
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss
Fairly basic Chansey set up though I did opt for SpD EVs because I've found that on the team it's a bit heavy on the Physical walls and less so on Special walls. So I invested in her to make a better Special wall rather than trying to plug up the physical weakness.
Slowbro @SitrusBerry
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Hp / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Psyshock
- Thunderwave
- Scald
- Slackoff
Slowbro is easily the best physical wall on my team. I opted for the regenerator over oblivious due to the partnership with Mega Sableye (anti taunt) and the number of times I switch with him. It also helps me keep momentum (as odd as that might sound in a wall team) by switching into counters while not losing the opportunity to heal.
Clefable Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 Hp / 180 Def / 76 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Stealth Rock
- Moonlight
- Aromatherapy
Clefable has been great as my rocks setter. Having the fairy typing and STAB moonblast has definitely helped and is the primary reason to run it as a rocks setter over Skarmory. I've had a hard time getting a Soft Boiled Clefable over a Moonlight one so I've had to settle for Moonlight for now.
Gliscor Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 Hp / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Roost
- Knock Off
Gliscor is a great counter to both Heatran and Jirachi which the rest of the team can find some difficulties with. He's also a big help in that he can't be status effected after he's poisoned. The only issue is that he nonbos with aromatherapy, though this actually hasn't been a problem as of yet.
Tentacruel Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 Hp / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Knock Off
- Acid Spray
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
Tentacruel is my spinner as well as my counter to any Gigadrain/Leech Seed walls. Acid Spray has done a fair amount in forcing switch outs against other walls and again we have another instance of knock off which is on the chopping block with the other two.
Sableye Sablenite
Ability: Prankster/ Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 Hp / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Impish Nature
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Taunt
Sableye is my Mega and is a back bone for this team. He's my taunt user, my prankster and my magic bouncer. I definitely enjoy having him though I feel like I need more practice deciding on when to Mega Evolve.
Overall the team has had a good track record and has a good amount of defensive coverage. The switch ins are very big in this team and I feel like I might need a roar or whirl wind user. I've considered Heatran and Skarmory but at the same time it feels like each of the current pokes are masters in their rolls.
Anyways, I'd love any advice and especially on what one of my 3 knock off slots should switch to.
