RMT - Star' Song [ I am back XD ]

Hello guys! I tested this team for a whole week and I had very good results. Although I am easily sweeped by batom pass teams or bulkers, I am pretty happy with the performance. Let's go:

a) Empoleon @ Focus band (evs: max def / max stak) [bold]
empoleonplush.jpg

> Acqua Jet
> Grass Knot (Swampert's Nightmare!!! ;D )
> Yawn
> Stealth Rock

~This lead is freakling good! Yawn to force te opponent to change or delay the strategy. Stealth Rock is used in the same maner every1 is using . Acqua Jet and Grass Knot to do some dmg before this little metal bird faints.

b) Hippowdon @ Expert belt (evs: max atk / max def) [brave]

> Earthquake
> Ice fang
> Toxic
> Crunch

~ The team' phys wall. Using him, i could really change de game. I choose him coz in this team' first version, i had a cronical problem with earthquakes and fire-type moves. No surprise, Ice F. to stop salamances, dragonites and gyrados (not that easy, but i can endure until let him die by the sandstorm + toxic)

c) Abomasnow @leftovers (evs: max spd / max satk) [timid]

> Substitute
> Blizzard
> Leech Seed
> Protect

~ Luv this guy!!!! <<33
Here the combo Subs + Leech with prot takes place. Blizzard to cause a massive dmg! With this spd, i've been able to OHOK many dragonites and aerodactyls.

d) Staraptor @ Choice Band (evs: max spd / max atk) [Jolly]

> Brave Bird
> Close Combat
> U-turn
> Pursuit

~ The Kamikazi guy. No surprise here. Kill and Die. Simple.

Gengar @ Wise Glasses (evs: max spd / max hp) [Bold]

> Mean look
> Toxic
> Perish Song
> Shadow Ball

~ The team's bug surprise. Since I dont have any roar /whirlwind (a strong weakness is the baton passers and bulkers) the ccccombo M.L. + P.S. can be awesome! I change gengar in the last turn (and 99% of the players will be able to predict this), or if gengar is already dead, i use the Abomas just to wait the oponent change pkm or let him die.

Alakazam @ Choice Band (evs: max spd / max stak) [timid]
p-alakazam.gif

> Psychic
> Focus Blast
> Trick
> Hidden Power: ice

~ Another "different" use for Alaka. here I tried to have options to predicted moves. I used a lot the cccc-bombo Staraptor' U-turn + Alaka to see what moves fit better according to the situations.

The itens I use suck! I know that, but I really cant have a better ideia..

The treats I have observed so far:

> Scizor with Bullet Punch
> Infernape!!! <=== if hippo is dead, i am pretty sure I will be sweeped by those f*** monkeys.
> baton passers and bulkers in general after Gengar is down.

This is it!

ok i went back and read your team
you have these problems:
-Hipppowdon is meant to be a wall so having an item that boostes super effective attacks is kindof Oxymoron
-Alakazam using a choice band is really pointless, you have no pysical moves to boost and you are still resticted to not being able to change moves. Instead use choice lens

Im not to great at rating strategies, i just point out the mistakes

Good Luck

Okay, for starters WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU USE CHOICE BAND ON ALAKAZAM????????? I know that you want to Trick something, but you can do that with Choice Specs, and give Alakazam a significant power boost in the process.

Gengar would be better holding a Life Orb

Hippowdon needs Leftovers.

This team has a lot lof problems, and I only glanced at it. I would go and reconsider EVERY member of this team.

@Arb: Uncle Iroh is awesome, Avatar is the best show ever! :)

Almost everything on the team takes damage from Hail or Sandstorm, and you have both working on the same team. Abomasnow is just subpar compared to other options when not being used for his infinite Hail.

If you're looking for a SubSeeder, run a Sceptile set. It has the special attack that you want (Grass Knot/Leaf Storm and HP Fire/Ice or Dragon Pulse), as well as much better speed for Subtitute purposes.

You're probably better off with Hydro Pump over Grass Knot or Aqua Jet on your Empoleon; your current setup just won't be doing much damage with Aqua Jet, and yet you don't have the power to use it as an anti-sasher.

Gengar is a worse ML-PS set than you can get from Mismagius.

Your Hippowdon should have Leftovers and an Impish nature, although as your only physical wall it looks like it will probably et taken down far too easily by Bulky Waters like Swampert.

You have no counters to Scizor, the most used pokemon in the game. You also have essentially nothing against Latias or Salamence.

In short, I'd scrap this and start over; this doesn't really seem to be a coherently built team, just a collection of pokemon you happen to like.
