~~~~ The Team ~~~~
Bronzong @ Macho Brace
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/84 Atk/80 Def/92 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Trick
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
This is a cute little bronzong. I am considering replacing trick with Hypnosis, but the accuracy and the luck factors is killing me. Plus, I like how this Bronzong can screw over other trick users. The Macho Brace give Gyro Ball a little more UMPH. Bronzong is there to set up rocks. Suprisingly, he sometimes halfway sweeps teams :doom:
Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 136 HP/156 Def/216 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Recover
- Rapid Spin
Typical Starmie. Rapid spin support needed to increase the defensiveness of my Gyarados. Starmie also helps against stuff like Infernape. Hydro Pump inflicts like 50% to Rotom. I plan to catch rotom on the switch when he tries to absorb a rapid spin and 2HKO with SR damage.
Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Explposion
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Ha, I just love catching Scizor and Forrys on the switch. It is not hard to tell when someone will switch in a steel type. Scarf lets me hit 360 speed, and kick the crap out of unsuspecting pokemon. Magnezone also plays the role as a secondary revenge killer.
Latias (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 76 HP/180 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Trick
This is my favorite scarf pokemon. Trick is for obvious reasons, but I really should replace it. I fear using a hidden power in its place because it will cost some of my speed IVs :< I can usually outspeed most HP Fire/ Fighting scarf Latias. Latias is my main :jump: (revenge killer lol). He is also bait for Scizor and other Steels so my second :jump: Magnezone can eat them alive!
Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance
- Fire Punch
Ha, this little cutie is just to shake stallers around. Not a perfect stall breaker though. +2 Stone Edge can kill the basic offensive Gyarados that switch in to kill me. If I see a gyarados on a stall team, I now to knock it down to at least half health before attempting to sweep.
Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP/232 Def/24 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rest
- Roar
- Sleep Talk
- Waterfall
This is the best Gyarados ever! I use him cause he is cool! His spread is to maximize his physical defense potential. Gyarados is my Scizor counter, a status absorber and a bitch to take down when SR is gone. Roar is to scout my opponents team or get in extra SR damage.
So far with my team, my weaknesses I have found are:
1. DDtar weak :kongler:
2. Weak to some strong stall teams.
Hmm,decent team here carlos.Yea,you seem to have a nasty dd tar weakness.Whatever isn't ohko'd can't do much in return.I'd suggest machamp over infernape.Still flows with the synergy and can be your immediate switch into any tar.
