Gen 3 <~!-RMT-!~> Thanks to Necro for the Help!!!

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 38 Spd / 120 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Thunderbolt

Metagross @ Choice Band
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 216 Atk / 96 Def / 198 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Hidden Power [Bug]
- Meteor Mash

Swampert (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 146 Def / 96 SAtk / 16 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Rest

Dugtrio (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Arena Trap
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Hidden Power [Bug]

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 244 HP / 50 Atk / 200 Def / 16 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Roar
- Spikes
- Substitute

Okay now I've got another problem. Regi is good at what he is doing (SP.Def tank) But I really need something to Wish and Heal and Blissey does a good job of it. So I was thinking of this:

Blissey @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 124 HP / 252 Def / 132 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
-Counter (This is why I don't have a Bold Nature)
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Wish

I've seen a Blissey survive my CBed Metagross Meteor Mash, and counter it....I wasn't happy. This really is funny vs. Dugtio/Metagross/Salamence/T-Tar. I like the set so IDC if you flame me for it anyway.

Or I could go with this dude.

Regice @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 92 Def / 28 Spd / 138 SAtk
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Rest
- Seismic Toss/Thunderbolt
- Sleep Talk

that's almost the exact same thing as husk's team in the best teams thread
what's hp bug for on meta? meteor mash can 2hko most celebis anyway.
on zapdos, i would put those def EVs into spdef
max hp on skarmory, and give it 216 def EVs so it can get the extra point.
you need a spinner...so claydol/donphan probably

HP Bug is for annoying Grass and Psychic Pokemon
Without those Def Evs I can't survive a Rock Slide from Dugtrio/Tyranitar
Meh, 4 Def points wont' save anything, the HP is set for Sub.
I do okay without a spinner so I'll leave it for now...

Really *looks at it* Yah suppose it is....But I didnt' see Husk's team untill now....Really I was being helped on Netbattle by (SD) NecroX3 in making this team. I don't really care though, this team kicks azz.

Zapdos will survive a Dugtrio Rock Slide either way, and it shouldn't be in on Tyranitar anyway. You might as well max HP on Skarmory so you can get an extra Sub.

Shadow Ball over HP Bug on Metagross, as it kills the same Pokemon and has more power. You have no Rapid Spin, and without that you have a massive Dugtrio weakness with 3 layers of Spikes on your side.

I don't think Spikes is an issue because Dugtrio would pretty much alone have fun with Metagross as it doesn't even carry any HP EVs, of course it's going to have fun OHKO'ing Tyranitar and once Swampert Rests, it's almost as good as dead too. And if someone funny wants to use a Sleep Talking Magneton, that pretty much beats the other half of the team so esentially, you have a team that's weak to Dugtrio+Magneton. Maybe using a Dugtrio yourself would help out!

Yea it has an obvious Dugtrio weakness, I was saying that if they can get some Spikes down, it can easily kill Metagross, Tyranitar, Regice.

Claydol mabye?

But then being husk's team. With that over Zapdos/Pert or tbh Regice. Blissey over it mabye? cleric for the team with that Swampert being like that?

Either way you will have trouble with spikes =/

i dont think anything can counter dugtrio other than fully levitating/flying teams
to stop skarm or whatever, just dont let it set up on you, which is pretty much done by all your pokemon, since metagross' meteor mash already does about 25+% to skarm --> so you max attack
and i suggest you ditch all your atk evs on skarm for something else. i find that i NEVER use skarm to attack at all unless the enemy has like <10% health or is a celebi

I'm tossing T-tar for a Dugtrio

Dugtrio @ Scope Lens (For a better chance of a 100% sure kill)
Arena Trap Ability
Adamant (+Atk, -Sp.Atk)
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
-Sludge Bomb
-Aerial Ace

Wondering If I should use Choice Band, but I think I'm not going too.

I think Swampert is better off with Protect, Curse, Toxic, or Roar over the slot for Rest if you want to bide time gaining its health. All Rest would do is open a vulnerable spot and force your team into the defensive as the opponent brings in Heracross, Gengars, BP Jolteons / Zapdos, Curselax, CM Suicune, or CBers

Optimize Skarmory's defense by maxing its EVs in HP. I'd take it from Atk, since 2 less points in offense usually doesn't make a difference.

Dugtrio needs the CB. With it, it guarantees a kill on many things. Scope Lens' ch would do 2x the damage instead of 1.5x, but only for what, like 25% of the time? It's less consistent and the 1.5 boost from CB is enough to finish off many vital Pokemon that an unboosted Duggy attack wouldn't. You'd also want HP Bug over Sludge Bomb to broaden its range of kill on Celebi. With HP Bug, a 404 HP / 308 Defense Celebi, Duggy could safely switch into a 77% Celebi and expect a kill. With Sludge Bomb, Celebi's health needs to be dropped to 49%, which won't happen most of the time, for the knock out. Aeolus's stickied topic on this board for Hidden Power IVs shows you an IV combination that would allow Duggy to maintain its 31 Spd IVs and still have HP Bug (drop Atk, Def, and Sp Def evs to 30). HP Bug still does a good number on other less used Grass pogeys, as well as hitting Claydol hard, so there's no reason to use Sludge Bomb.
