In Detail:

spiritombdiskfz9.png

Spiritomb @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 152 Sp.Def/252 HP/100 Def
Calm Nature
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Taunt/Pursuit/HP Fighting
- Shadow Ball

A traditional starter set for Spiritomb. I needed a good starter and then an anti-spin and after Mismagius had more or less failed for me, I was helped out and shown this set. Fantastic mixed wall. This Pokemon laughs at Gengar's and Bronzong's Hynosises. RestTalk to make easy work of Gengar and Deoxys-e. Taunt/Pursuit as I don't have Hidden Powers and Taunt can stop CM-ers setting up and then Shadow Ball for STAB. HP Fighting if I can get it, which I highly doubt.

azelfkm8.png

Azelf @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 36 Atk/220 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive Nature
- U-Turn
- Psychic/Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Explosion

My Team's NEW Special Sweeper. U-Turn to scout and hit hard. Psychic STAB or Thunderbolt for Gyarados. Flamethrower for Steels and Explosion for major damage when I need to use it. An excellent Pokemon.

salamencedisklm3.png

Salamence @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast

My team's Physical Sweeper. An all-out power assault. Fire Blast to catch people off-guard, and although Adamant, it still OHKO's Forretress and 2HKO's Skarmory. Stone Edge for Gyarados. Earthquake for it's sheer power and Dragon Claw for some good old STAB.

tentacrueldiskqe9.png

Tentacruel @ Toxic Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 204 HP/172 Sp.Def/36 Spd/96 Sp.Atk
Calm Nature
- Surf
- Sludge Bomb
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin

My team's Spinner and Toxic Spiker. A really reliable Pokemon, that benefits from Liquid Ooze. Toxic Spikes because they rock. Rapid Spin, because my team needs one. Surf for STAB, then my dilemma. Sludge Bomb for STAB which is more effective against Celebi than Ice Beam.

registeeldiskgt5.png

Registeel @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/200 Def/56 Sp.Def
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Thunder
- Stealth Rock

My team's Physical Wall, although it can be percieved as a Mixed Wall. I caught a Careful one, then changed the set, so a different nature would of been nice, yet with Careful, it helps it all round to be a Mixed Wall. Earthquake for type coverage and RAW power. Ice Punch for Dragons, Thunder for Gyarados and Stealth Rock because it's useful and I really wanted one of my team members to have it.

blisseydiskfn0.png

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/216 Sp.Def/40 HP
Calm Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Softboiled
- Aromatherapy

The most over-used Special Wall in existence, yet she is awesome, so why not. Shame she doesn't have W-O-W, then she'd be even better. Cripple with T-Wave; Become a Cleric with Aromatherapy, heal with Softboiled and pack a punch with Seismic Toss.

You have a gigantic ScarfTran weakness, the only one who can actually touch it is Blissey, who gets exploded on.

Spiritomb is fine, although you might want to get a different lead and run a ReStalk set, so you can continually nail Deoxys and Heatran with HP Fighting and Shadow Ball. There are better leads than him, just throwing it out though.

I personally don't like Alakazam anymore, its way to frail to pull off a trick set, as it switches in, takes a hit, tricks, and takes another hit, and it has low HP and defenses, meaning most cases will be a 2HKO or a predicted trick.

Salamence is kind of iffy, use the DD MixMence set, it will help with your speed issue after a Dance.

I don't know much about Tentacruel, but I think you should use either Ice Beam or HP Electric over Sludge Bomb, just because Poison has bad type coverage with all the steels running around.

Registeel is fine, just that it really is only there to set up rocks, maybe explosion is a better choice over Earthquake? Or you can go Status with it, and carry Toxic, Explosion, Stealth Rocks and Ice Punch, or something along those lines.

Bliss is okay

Thanks for that advice. I am really thinking of changing Alakazam now, he is getting lost in the 4th gen due to his frailness. I'll also consider Explosion over Earthquake aswell on Registeel, that's a nice viable option. Thanks again. I'd apprecaite anymore comments of help.

Your team looks good, but I suggest running Sucker Punch over Pursuit. Deoxys E is a late game sweeper, so if there are only 2-3 pokemon left, you can predict that if he'll attack or not. Most usually attack anyways.

Switch Alakazam for something better. I don't really see trick as a quality move, and you could use another physical attacker. I suggest SD Gallade

I think the biggest mistake on your team is Registeel's Explosion. Wall's definately shouldn't explode, and you need the coverage anyways. Let's say Your up against a Garchomp, but your Registeel exploded earlier in game. What happens when the opponent is running a Choice Scarf, or max Spdchomp? That mean 333 spd, and your Salamence will easily be outrun, considering that it is adamant.

Actually, you should make your Salamence Hasty, and give it a special set. Since you don't have Hypnosis, when are you going to have time to set up? Besides that, you'll be able to outrun other Salamence and one Draco Meteor OHKO's most sweepers anyways.

Otherwise, your team looks alright. Just give it a few mods and it should do fine.

Thanks very much again for all your constructive crit. I will only replace Alakazam with a Special Sweeper as I already have a Physical one with Salamence, and I dunno, I want my team to be even. :P

Didnt realise I have Levitate instead of Pressure on Spiritomb, that was just a careless mistake. I'll have a check for a Special Sweeper myself, but any ideas from any of you?

Gengar is an excellent special sweeper.

You can go

Gengar @ Expert Belt
Timid (max spd is 350 so even with jolly you'll just be lowering attack)
252 sp atk/ 252 spd/ 6 hp
Shadow Ball (STAB)
Hypnosis
HP Ice (for Dragons)
Thunderbolt/Focus Blast (I prefer tbolt due to accuracy issues)

Hmm, he is a nice choice, however, I don't want more than 1 type, and 2 ghosts could/would be a bad thing. I am maybe thinking Jolteon or Vaporeon. Although Vaporeon isn't fast, it can Wish pass and RestTalk, 2 attributes my team doesn't have.

There are better special sweepers than Alakazam. Alakazam has great stats, but it's movepool cannot be compared to say Gengar. Gengar would fit better here, having a handy Immunity and being a excellent special sweeper. Choice Scarf would be recommended, it will give you speed and power, making you attack hard and fast. Spiritomb does not seem to fit in with this team at all tbh. I would recommend something like a Jirachi or Bronzong, both counter Deoxys-E, who is OU now and destroys with ease if unprepared. Spiritomb is the #1 counter to it, but as I said, it does not fit here. If you really want to use it, and as a lead, I would recommend the SleepTalk Spiritomb lead set, it works amazingly as a lead, countering leads like Gengar and such.

Salamence would want Jolly > Adamant, you have a CB, so make it Jolly to outspeed on it's own and such, just a suggestion. You seem to know what you are doing, and alot of people have stated my points. The spiritomb I would suggest;

Spiritomb @ Leftovers **
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 100 Def / 156 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Counters Gengar so well, I love it. Absorbs status. Hits T-tar and Heatran with HP Fighting. Just an overall good status absorber.

That is certianly a moveset I will most likely use now. However, I don't breed for Hidden Powers, so would Pursuit or Taunt fit ok in that spot. That would make it even easier to KO Deoxys surely? In response to Alakazam, it will be going, and how about this Magnezone set? Take into account I don't breed for Hidden Powers.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Sp.Atk / 84 Spe
Modest nature
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Magnet Rise
- Flash Cannon/Metal Sound

Just realised that would be 2 Steels, so I remain confused. :P Perhaps Azelf or Zapdos for their additional great speed?

Well, being Wi-Fi and not Shoddy, then just use uh... well to be honest, Hidden Power works magic with that set, so you might as well go standard, as I don't know what to tell you. Eh, same Magnezone is ok, but you want something more diverse, like Gengar. You don't need HP Ice on him, you could just go with Shadow Ball / Hypnosis / Thunderbolt / Focus Blast, becuase Magnezone without HP Ice is pretty much bait.

Yeah, well although Gengar would fit, I don't want 2 Ghosts and I also don't want to get rid of Spiritomb, so I might go Azelf or Zapdos.

In response to Spiritomb, if I can get one with HP Fighting on these forums, then I will definitely use it. Thanks for all your advice.

Azelf is a good option too, Choice Scarf or Life Orb, it hits hard aswell. If you use Azelf, pack Eartquake on Registeel, to hit Heatran and Tyranitar. It would be great if you could get a HP Fighting Spiritomb, because Heatran will be trouble. Good luck with the team.

Cool team. I see no reason why not have Gengar since Spiritomb is also part dark so shares no weaknesses with Spiritomb, and in addition to that has a Ground immunity.

If you have Sludge Bomb on Tentacruel, then I reccomend Ice Beam over Seismic toss, it hits other Gengars and doesn't give Garchomp a free switch. Another Ice attack is always welcomed with all the dragons running (and flying) around.

Steelix does what you're trying to pull with Registeel better (physical tank with EQ / Ice attack / SR). The added Water weakness is of little consequence to your team since you have tenta and bliss, plus he doesn't need to take Special hits since with Bliss / Tent / Spiritomb you wall everything.

I'd run 252 / 80 / 176 on your Bliss. The only benefit of 216 SDef is beating Heatran for sure, but you have Tentacruel anyway so you might as well buff offenses a little.

You're not too weak to Scarf Heatran if you predict the Explosion correctly.

On spiritomb go -Speed and do Sucker Punch AND HP Fighting. That way you have both a Deoxys-E/fast shit and Lucario counter. Or you could just run Shadow Ball, but Sucker Punch is more fun. Wait, maybe it's messed up by ResTalk. If it is, just use Shadow Ball.

An Electric attack on something like Tentacruel or even Blissey lets you beat Gyarados.

Changes have been made. I have replaced Alakazam with a Life Orb Azelf set straight from the site. I think I am going to love this set. My team is finally looking lovely, and I still have a BL Pokemon, which is a little task I set myself. It fits in well I think. Just need help now on a few moves, then I think my team may be complete.
